I believe that the day Montana was 70 below the mail wasn't delivered becuase it was too slick out to walk. NOT because of the cold....LOL. AND there was no Wind Chill Factored in back then. I think that that was the day I walked to school 5 miles, barefoot, uphill, both ways.:rotfl:

Looked at OH, and then noticed lots of other lows in February of 1899. Must have been a REALLY cold winter. No gas heat either!

GREAT! Thanks Jan!

UH OH!!!!!!! I read Jan's post to Tyler, and he jumped up with excitement and said, "Oh boy! I'll teach him a bunch of stuff!" I asked him, "Um....what kind of stuff?" He said, "I'm gonna teach him how to use markers!" Be afraid, Bobby......be VERY afraid! :rotfl2:

Bobby is proficient at WATER MARKERS.
He LOVES to color, but he is VERY NEAT. He does NOT like permanent markers. He says they are TOO MESSY.

In spite of his Colombian Accent his position on markers was VERY CLEAR.

It was OK for him to be in the truck. He asked permission of the people who own the winery!

We are . . . registered for the Disneyland Half Marathon on August 31.

Hey, we just decided do this run this past Thursday. We are both very excited, we haven't ever done anything like this before. We started hitting Lifetime more often recently as we are trying to get in better shape as we age. We thought the Half Marathon would be a perfect goal to set.
Great. The Disneyland Half Marathon is fun -- the course goes through Disneyland and DCA. We plan to walk/jog.

Some have expressed interest in walking on sea days on Deck 4 in the morning. Interested?

Woody

It's not now. It was on Angie's, but not now. ?????? Hmmmmm???

Is this evil Bobby with the drink?

What I do is when I'm all done here for the day, I save the page under my favorites. Then, next time I come back, I go to my favorites list and click on the DIS page, and it takes me right to where I left off. I do the same again when I'm done, but first delete the last bookmarked favorite, and resave the new page as a favorite. It sounds more time consuming than it actually is....it's really just a couple clicks and it takes me right where I need to be.

I just tried the blue check. Hey, WOW! Ang never showed me that before.

Me too! We can tell people here on this thread when there's an update on his travels on the other thread to check out. :thumbsup2

OR we can post them BOTH places. Bobby votes for BOTH!

Jan :earsgirl:

You know, when I was buying this, I kept thinking of what Angie said about no one wanting to buy all your old equipment. Exercise equipment must depreciate faster than cars once you take it out of the store.

:rotfl: Yep. I think you're right John. AND for 10 bucks I'll pick yours up and take it to the dump. Might as well get it done now.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am compelled to tell you our story here... on 1/15 it was the 15th anniversary of losing my home, everything I own (down to my shoes, baby pictures and 6 cats) to a Christmas Tree fire. It (obviously) took me years to deal with it, but I met my husband because of it. On the second anniversary of the fire my friend insisted I go out with her and not sit home to think about it. She set me up with the man I ended up marrying. For years peopel asked me why my stuff was still up that late.... well, I was busy working on the show Full House, I had been sick, I need help getting it out, everything was off of it, but the power strip under the tree exploded and lit it up like a cannon. So, fast forward to this year. We've been really busy this year. I said DH Please make sure that Xmas tree is down and out of the house by the 15th, I can't have it up on the 15th (yes, us and all of our friends have really good artificial trees - much like many of you.) The night of the 14th DH leaves on a business trip and it is still up (apparently he didn't notice it standing in the corner of the room!) There I am on the 14th with DD4 taking it down and laying it on the floor. YESTERDAY HE BAGGED IT UP AND PUT IT IN THE GARAGE!!!!!! :scared1: :scared1: Next year, it comes down on Sunday January 4th (mark my words!!!!)

Oh my, what a terrible story. I am so sorry. You NEVER think something like this could happen to you......oh my......:surfweb:

Or just click on the little blue check at the front of the thread name and it takes you where you left off. :surfweb: Nothing to save, the DIS saves it for you!

I don't have to bring up the forum to get where I want to go though. ;)

AND Bobby does like his wine, as we have found out.
