Q. Do you have a tailor on board the ship?

A. Yes, there is a tailor on board that can make a minor alteration such as adjust a hem or sleeve length on a coat. Major alterations are not available. Please contact the Housekeeping Department on board the ship for this service. There is no charge.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q. What happens if my tuxedo doesn’t fit?

A. We make every effort to ensure that your tuxedo will fit well. That is why we review the sizes with you when you place your order. However, you should try on the tuxedo as soon as you receive it in order to allow enough time to correct a problem on board. There is inventory on board every ship to handle most exchanges.

Please note that the inventory is limited and is first come-first serve, so we recommend that you request any exchanges immediately. Please do not wait until right before you are going to wear the tuxedo to try it on. Please contact the Housekeeping Department on the ship to request assistance with your tuxedo rental.

I just called them to see about the two week charge (if there was a difference) their May calendar isn't up yet, but he seemed to think it would be the week charge. So for the combo $122.50.

Hi everyone! We are back from our weekend. Let's not talk about the Hawks performance...we'll just say onto next year. I got home to 50 or something new pages, so I am way behind....and probably won't catch up. Please let me know if I missed anything major! It was a great weekend on the slopes. Taylor and Jaide both did great and all the parents (we went with 2 other families) got to ski most of each day as the kids were in clinics! This am I realized how out of shape I really am...and vow to start hitting the gym again this week!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I love that idea. I hate the thought of bringing 2 weeks worth of reading material and then lugging it back home. Bringing a couple books and sharing or leaving them behind sounds great to me.
Ever since Tyler has been around, I've only dreamed of a vacation where I had time to relax and read. He's such an energetic handful, we're contantly on the go. My only hope is that he'll actually stay in the kids club longer than an hour and my dream will come true! :goodvibes

Ah now I think that goes for many people on here as I usually multi quote because of coming on in the morning to loads of pages every day after you all have been chatting, so it is easier. I sometimes felt nobody read my multi quoted posts!!!

I read them, Marilyn!! :thumbsup2

I mentioned this option to DH, but he is concerned about the sizing being right. What happens is something is to big, or small? The only tuxes that we have rented before were for weddings and had to have a fitting for those.:confused3 :confused3

DrHug rented 3 times. The last time the sleeves on the jacket were WAY too short. :scared: He was very uncomfortable and I had not read the info that Vanessa posted. He just made do, but has taken his suit since - which we know fits! :)

Just skimming a few pages and I have to say Monica...your hair cut looks great! Do you still love it?!

Also, Lisa, how is Frank?

yes, we've used them before and the fit was fine....I think if you have special requests (inseam, etc) you just let them know ahead of time.

Thanks V for the info. Good to know there is someone on board to help out.

Just skimmed through...don't know how far back I need to look to catch up:confused3 Still looking for Monica's picture ...I wanted to see the cute haircut:goodvibes By the way I love:love: all the pictures everyone posts makes me feel like I know you already...I'm a picture person...names is a whole new ballgame:eek: Tommy Bannana travels tonz doesn't he?:rotfl: John 1 loved the family pic and Calmom you have such cute boys:goodvibes You'll need to let us know how Jack enjoyed the game being the #1 fan. Tigger sorry about your grandmom:hug: Pixie dust to everyone who needs it:grouphug: pixiedust:

Taysmom-thanks for the Discover card tip:thumbsup2 We don't have discover but was going to get it for cash back but they said it was only up to $800 purchases so it didn't seem worth it for only $40 back...but would have been great if we already had a discover card. I'll have to come to peace knowing we'll pay top $ for everything(I got in after everyone so my tix were more$ and we went through DCL so no unboard credit:sad2: DH doesn't want to change ressies to TA fear there would be a mix up and wants to take no chances)

When exactly is the 90 day mark?

When we make ressies to Palo's are we limited to just one reservation?

If we have any dietery needs how far should I place a request(DS is allergic to eggs)?

I was going to order a fish extender from this DIS but the one making it seems to be going through a tough time so I may just order from EBAY(realistically I will not get around to making my own...unless Jackie wants to come over and work on it with me?:confused3 I know you haven't made yours yet) Is $35 plus shipping stardand price?:confused3 Its worth it for me because its one less thing to do. I already started packing the kids suitcases but have a ways to go.

Well, I spent hours trying to catch up and still not caught up I'm sure I missed some here and there. Need to pick DD in a few minutes from preschool...I'm always late picking her up when I'm trying to catch up on the DIS. Still have loads of laundry staring at me and all of that fun stuff. Have a good day everyone.

WELCOME all new DISers!!!!!:yay: :dance3: :yay:

I am glad I am not the only one packing! But as I was counting the outfits I think I am way short...how many outfits is everyone bringing for kids? You know, they tend to mess up easier!

Still have about 6 pages to go, but lunch hour is over!

Hello,
We are first time cruisers. We made our final payment last week. We're very excited.

There are three of us, DW, Heather, DS, Cameron (10) and myself Joe. Is there a master of list of cruisers? We are in SoCal, just north of LA, and were wondering if there are others from our area planning to be on board.

We have several questions that we will post at a later time.

Thank you,
Joe

Welcome! Ask away!

The Finisterra is at one of the beaches where you cannot go in the water due to the current. I don't even think there are chairs on the beach there, just around the pool. There are no vendors, so it is very quiet, but not what I would consider much of a beach experience.

Thanks...I'm actually more of a pool person anyway. Don't know if I'd spend money on an excursion that's 'read a book by the pool' when I can do that on the ship anyway. :confused3

...back to work!

I'm not washing so 1 per day for Brent. Will probably bring a couple of extras! We did this on the TA and he never had to change during the day so we had a couple of extras.

Anyone going to churches remember that they don't like sleeveless or shorts in the churches.

:welcome: Joe, Heather and Cameron. We are DH BubbaGrump and Myself. Just two adults. We live in Oxnard and work in Santa Barbara. So we are kind of close. When are you flying to Orlando?

Thanks for the welcome. We will be in Orlando on May 8. Cameron wants to hit some rides he was too small for, two years ago.

We were just in Santa Barbara for a couple of days, confirming with the county clerk that I would be able to perform my sister's wedding service.

Joe

I wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcome.

We are very excited, we were talking of canceling late last month. My wife said we would not get another chance with our son at this age, so we went ahead and paid the final payment.

Our son has been reading and watching the Discovery & History channels when they have episodes on the Panama Canal. I'm so glad he likes to travel.

Again, thanks,
Joe

now I am rethinking all these darn tours....why are there so many things to choose from!!???!
