I wish I could, but it's all I can do to try to get our passports and and I don't want to even think about airfare! Excursions are out of the question at this point, we'll just barely make it on the ship.

Hi everyone!

Just been lurking for a bit since our plans have been a bit up in the air. It looks like we'll be cancelling this cruise as there are some family problems with my mother which it doesn't look like will be resolved in time to cruise. Have to admit that at times life sometimes sucks. We have been going back and forth about cancelling and haven't made the final decision yet but it's looking more and more like cancelling is the prudent thing to do (unfortunately). We'll probably end up just moving our deposit to a cruise in 2009 but it still sucks since I was so looking forward to this cruise.

We set up my dance room today....I still need a mirrored wall and new flooring, but I have my ballet barre and a mat and my treadmill and my tv with a vcr so that I can play the tape of my ballet class. I'm psyched to get started.....next week when everybody goes back to work again so that I have my privacy and no interruptions.

I'm not a fan of the multi-quote, for me! I have tried it and forget what I was going to say!!!

I just right click on the Quote and open my response in a new window, write what I want, submit it and then I am still back on the page that I am reading.

To each their own!!

Karen, I'm the same way! Plus, when I read posts, single quotes are much easier for me to read because I get confused reading multi-quotes. But that's just me!

Darrell is going to rent a tux - who am I kidding - I'm renting Darrell a tux for this cruise but he has agreed to wear it

In the past he has just gone with a shirt a tie (archaeologists don't need dress clothes..) since we didn't want to buy anything. Renting seems the easiest - they leave it in your room at arrival and we leave it there when we leave. It comes with 2 shirts so he'll be good for both formal nights. He'll probably just go with the shirt and tie for the semi-formal nights.

Guys, think of the sparkle that will be in your wife's eyes when she sees you all spiffed up in your tux. That look on her face should be enough to make you want to dress up.

I had to run up to the local mall today and go to Verizon Wireless. My cell phone just went blank. It took a charge and then went dead. So I ran to the mall, something I DO NOT do and waited 30 minutes on line because they are always so busy and then the guy tells me....just reboot it like your computer. I asked how do I do that. He said take the battery out and count to ten, then put it back in.....which he did and violla....everything worked like normal. Who knew you had to reboot your cell phone when it locks up. Forturnately, it was a no charge and I didn't have to buy a new phone. He told me I'm due for a free upgrade on Feb 2nd. Cool! I have the razor now and can upgrade to the razor 2.

Wow, I've never heard of rebooting a phone or even what your phone did. Crazy little gadgets!

Ah now I think that goes for many people on here as I usually multi quote because of coming on in the morning to loads of pages every day after you all have been chatting, so it is easier. I sometimes felt nobody read my multi quoted posts!!!

We are first time cruisers. We made our final payment last week. We're very excited.

There are three of us, DW, Heather, DS, Cameron (10) and myself Joe. Is there a master of list of cruisers? We are in SoCal, just north of LA, and were wondering if there are others from our area planning to be on board.

I mentioned this option to DH, but he is concerned about the sizing being right. What happens is something is to big, or small? The only tuxes that we have rented before were for weddings and had to have a fitting for those.

good idea. I know just where to get the iron on fabric, I just need an iron...thats right don't judge me. I don't own an iron. Isn't that what drycleaners are for! hahahaha

I've never ironed a thing in my life, and wouldn't know how to anyway!

So, we went to DL yesterday and had a weird thing happen. We always try to park in Timon and walk (for the excercise and time that it saves.) When we got to the turn in the line was all the way back to Harbor BL. We thought it was a tour group, so we walked past them and got up to the security where only one was open. So, it was a back up to get through security (must have been an hour wait) Just as we walked up to the other security they opened it (we were just lucky.) We went in for a few of hours and hit the rides (hint: always go to the left adventureland first, it is always less crowded than going to the right to tomorrowland.) But when we left 3 hours later the lines to get into DL were backed up all the way across the quad and backed into the CAd lines There were also signs all over the road saying that crowds and traffic would be high next week. What's happening next week? Anyone know??? I'll call DL today to ask.

I was just about to ask you to let me know what you find out, but then I looked at the calendar and next weekend is MLK holiday on Monday. Bummer, cause we were planning on going on Sunday for my birthday. We skipped this past weekend because of the convention that was going on and figured it would be crowded. Now it looks like it will be next weekend too.
