Where and what is Chico's Paradise? No we do not rent cars in Mexico as most places have little or no parking. We have known people that do. The driving there is quite adventurous! Like you turn left from the far right lane!

It is a restaurant in PV - you have to go through the Sierra Madre Mtns.

We hope Jenna enjoyed her birthday last night - she seemed to. Her grandparents were here to help celebrate. They left this morning for The Woodlands to visit my sister. My father seems to get a little worse every time I seem him. Parkinsons is really taking its toll, or at least all the medication is.

Anyway, Jenna didn't believe the Hannah Montana concert tickets were real at first. It took a little convincing to assure her that she had actual tickets to see Miley Cyrus in person (along with Ally and AJ). She started to cry when it really hit her. Then her little sister said "Jenna you get to see Hannah Montana, why are you crying"? Jenna replied, "You are going to be crying too - there's four tickets here and one of them is for you"! Then Kayla started crying and they gave each other a big hug . . . . . . . then they started running around the house screaming as loud as they could. It was quite the sight and made the cost of the tickets well worth it!

Now the hard part - 25 little friends invading the house for the big Hannah Montana birthday party on Saturday. I think we are in trouble!

Hi Leslie, I loved this story....girls can be so dramatic and so very sweet. Don't forget to take pics of the "hard part." We would love to see the invasion.

It is a restaurant in PV - you have to go through the Sierra Madre Mtns.

It seems to be the resturant that I am thinking about it that we went to about 6 years ago. It is up in the hills on the south side of town. The roads were not as good as the description says but could have improved. After you park you have to walk up a trail by the water which is as clear and as cold as can be. If it is the same place then there is no electricity or gas so everything is cooked on grills with the fire coming from wood. The food is very good and is typical mexican food(not our mexican food) which is mostly seafood. It is beautiful at night since it is lite with torches. They did not take credit cards so take cash.

Salsa in Mexico is great - the chips take some getting use to but we like them.

Well all of our time off was approved by my employer and my mom's


We are trying to figure out where to fly home from can't decide between LAX and Ontario. We will fly out on Tuesday the 27th to CT as the costs for Sunday/Monday are higher.

I'm super excited

I LOVE this idea, will we all fit out on the secret deck on 7? It would be a great photo op place....I'm sure we could all squish in and do it! Anyone else like this photo idea? Should we do it here? We could all wear our lime green colored shirts.

Well, I'm glad they spelled that out. Now that I know they are getting $5, I can go from there on what additional I want to give.

We did get clarification on this from PJ in Dec. That $5 is split between 10 servers. So, each server gets 50 cents for every single person that is served in Palo. I don't know how many it will seat each night.

Time to give alot more to the servers!!!


$10 bucks to refurbish the place??? Can't Disney afford to decorate on it's own???

Regarding Alladin in DCA, it's a great show and the reason the front floor is the best is definately because of the parade and you can really see the actors facials. The kids get so excited when the characters come out on the floor. It's really cool. Not sure how long, but worth it.

Regarding the Wine...Last cruise we filled our soda cups with wine and brought those to the table and filled our wine glasses at the table. The servers were cool with it and there was no charge. $15 is high to me. And the wine package was of course way more expensive than bringing your own.

Maybe we can all order from Karen (beentomarceline) and have her ship to the port. I wonder if she'd do that. Karen.....

Holly-glad you got a diagnosis. You should notice a big change once they put him on meds. Most of the adhd kids at the school I work for get better. You definately notice when they are not on their meds.

I think Karen posted that she can no longer ship to the port. She was going to try and ship to the hotel they were staying at prior to the cruise.

We sent 3 on our last cruise in November. I used UPS and was glad that I had tracking available as we had some issues.

This trip we will send them to whatever spot we are going to stay at before the cruise as we can't ship wine to the port anymore.

If you think the crying and screaming were bad at your house just wait until the concert! I took my daughter to the concert for her birthday in November. I got a luxury box for 20 of us total to go so she invited 9 friends and their moms. The screaming was so loud that the suite attendant was handing out earplugs to the parents. I know I lost a little hearing that night.

She was touring with the Jonas bros when she came by here and those little girls were screaming and crying for those boys so loud as well it was truly deafening.

On an upside my daughter was so shocked to go to the concert and thinks it was the best night of her life. I agree that the cost of the tickets is nothing when you see the reaction. I paid way way too much but I was the coolest mom in the world according to my daughter.

Wellcraft Marine just announced they will close their doors, 300 people will be out of jobs. They have been here 20+ years.

Pella Windows in the town next to us is closing with 240 people losing their jobs. Tough time for all.

We missed Hannah Montana here in Oakland. She came, I didn't even notice until about 2 days before the concert. My daughter didn't say anything. I took her and her gf to the High School Musical Concert. We have floor tix and my dd loved it but it too was sooo loud. I couldn't believe the screaming. At one point I went up to get a drink and there were a bunch of moms and dads just standing by the snack bar...enjoying the silence!

Hey we had floor seats to High School Musical on Ice. Was that the one you saw or the Concert tour? Wonder if we were there at the same time! That show was loud too. Heck it wasn't even really "Troy" LOL yet they still screamed.

so sad to hear of these companies closing. It really will affect American as we lose all these small businesses.
