Ohio State John!!

Don't know if you follow football recruiting all that intensely or not, but the #1 rated high school player (Terrel Pryor) is down to a few schools. TP is a spread-option style quarterback and at one time he had Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Penn State, and Oregon as his finalists. He just officially tripped Michigan this past weekend and apparently has been to tOSU many times. Sounds like he is now choosing between UM, tOSU, Oregon, and a late push from LSU.

This coming weekend he will be taking an official visit to Oregon. With the success Dennis Dixon had this past year, we are hoping he will be enamored with our facilities and our offense. Am not ashamed to say that it may also be helpful to have Phil Knight and Nike in our back pocket (no illegal recruiting aid though)! Being that he is also a 5 star basketball recruit, this will be the perfect weekend for him to visit. We have UCLA and USC visiting. One of the oldest and loudest basketball arena's will be jumping. The Pit will be the place to be!

As rabid college football fans, this is huge, huge, huge. Players of this level usually don't find their way to Oregon (with the exception of Jonathon Stewart). He could be the answer to the missing link we have had to becoming a realistic power and contender for the National Championship. Will be sitting on the edge of our seats until signing day on February 6th.
Gators, gators, gators!!!!!!!!!

Hey maybe we can share a shuttle???

Sorry, but I meant the Budget shuttle from their depot in Cape Canaveral. Otherwise it would have been a great idea!!:thumbsup2

yes I suggest you make a plan for us :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Never having been there I can't suggest anything. Okay experts please speak up and make us a plan!!!!

We ate at Mccoys and it was good food and lots of it. It was quiet when we were there so i am sure they could handle a group. Not cheap though. We had a delayed flight and had to eat!

Yes, especially since now I really need to consider paring down the clothing that we bring...I'll be doing LOTS of laundry which means LOTS of DODs in the laundry room with whoever wants to join me. :lmao:

I'll be doing lots of laundry as I wear so many clothes in hot sticky weather.:sad2:

ok - dance wars....they seem so sing-songy to me....not pop, not musical theatre....Zack is the package though.

I was just wondering what if any nick names people use ( or don't)

I tend to shorten names if there are short ones that are common, but I know that not all people like that.

I was always Nan when I was little. In junior high I thought it sounded TOOOO tomboyish (ok, that was me regardless of my name :rolleyes1 ) so in an effort to be more feminine I used my middle name (Robin) for all of junior high. Yup my yearbook reads Robin. In high school I moved back to my full first name, Nanette. That stuck until I started working for myself 1996, then I was too busy and went back to Nan been there ever since (although, DH would rather call me Nanette)

long winded as usual. You can just call me babbermouth. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This just cracked me up!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lisa - I must have missed the post about the 2 DL dismeets coming up??? Can you fill me in on them. We would love to attend - assuming the date(s) work.

Stacey

Hi,
Page 3076 post 46132 from MilesToGo is the original post. (There was a 2nd post earlier today as well butIdon't have that one written down.)

I think PJ is going to add them to the other site as well.

For those of us doing the meal at Grills the night before, do you want to meet at say, 5:30pm. Is that a good time for everyone? I just want to be able to post it on our website, but we need to set a specific time. We'll make reservations and get a head count when it gets a little closer, but for now we can put it on the site.

PJ do you mind adding it to pre cruise plans at port canaveral.....meeting for dinner at Grills at 5:30 pm on Friday May 9th.

Thank you.:worship: :worship:

Works for us!

Oooh! Oooh! Me! Me! :rotfl: Seriously, Tyler and I don't even own enough clothes to last 15 days, so we'll HAVE to do laundry. probably twice.

Bummer, these dates don't work for us. We are on school vacation the week of April 7-12. Anyone want to meet up in Dland during that time?

We will be there the 12th and 13th. Maybe we could get together on the 12th. The 13th is our next Mouseadventure.

Nan - what size is Molly - I pretty much scour what I would like and then email and ask for a discount on two. etc.....

also - the name thing, I wanted to be called Kelly in the fifth grade. That was my babysitter's name and she was just so cool!

Hi all! OK, We’ve got about 30 people interested in coming, but some are limited on their availability, so I came up with two separate Dismeets. Let me know which one or both you will attend and how many will be there. Thanks, Kelly

This now has front billing on the website, click on kelly's Dis name to PM her.

If I didn't have time to check in from work now and then, I would be :scared1: when I got home!

This thread is really zipping now!

That would be me tonight, no warning and you all go crazy! At least on the old thread I knew to read 15 pages at lunch, lol.

OK, all you HYATT MCO PEOPLE where are WE having dinner the night before the cruise?

I don't even remember what's available in the airport and has anyone eaten at the Hyatt's restaurant?

I get in 5PMish, I think, and will wait several hours for more folks to show up.

So, suggestions??? :confused3

OK, anything you want added to the Repo Calendar for the month of May 2008, just post here or PM me and I will update that, keeps it all in one place. You can get to the calendar on the Shipboard page of the website, click on the iCal icon at the top of the page, or here in my signature.
