Sun

That's a nice looking weekend! 90 degrees on Monday - perhaps we should get the pool ready!

Honestly, how tough is it to be a weather person in Phoenix? "Tomorrow it will be sunny, as will the next day, as will the day after that . . . . . . .

:sad1: The school district has won. My son will be in state testing during that period and yes, he will lose class credits for missing 10 days of high school. I can't take that chance, he is real smart but not the best student (doesn't like to do homework). So, with a very heavy heart, I have just asked my wonderful travel agent to cancel this cruise. I will be back before the sail date to wish all you wonderful people a bon voyage!! I guess I won't be needing the spots in the Hummerzine.....:sad1: I won't get to go to Bunco....:sad1:

On a happy note, I wish all of you the very best time on this cruise and I hope to meet you on a future cruise. :wave2:

Tammy, I am so sorry! I hope you get to do something just as fun later in the year!

I don't know if you can you offend a duck.

You can offend a Duck! Huskies do it all the time, as do Beavers. But, we know how low those two programs have become. Now, it is the almight arrogance of Petey boy Carrol and his SUC Trojans - I mean USC! Oh, sorry, hope I didn't offend a Husky, Beaver, or Trojan!

GO DUCKS :worship:

The only Disney Marathon we are training for is the breakfast buffet Marathon at Topsiders!

:rotfl2:

Now that there is down right funny. Thanks, made me laugh.

For those attending the May 20 DIS meet at Downtown Disney:

Mrs. Woody went to Disneyland today and picked up a flier about the "Second Annual Disney's California Food and Wine Weekends." They are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April 27 to May 20 (the DIS meet is on the last day). There are complimentary events, and ones where a fee is charged.

Very interesting....by the way, I did call Disney Dining today regarding our DIS Meet and I had to leave a message with the "Large Party" Coordinator (interesting). So hopefully he'll call me back. They may not be able to help me until March 20th because priority reservations can only be made 60 days before or less, but I figured I could see what they had to say, about our "large party". Update to follow..............

It sounds like a lot of you are staying at the airport the night before or flying the red-eye. Is anyone planning on staying closer to the port where we might be able to have a dis-meet?

We are - planning on the Radisson. Maybe go to the Space Center on Friday.

East Coast is up and getting kids off to school!

Snow here again tomorrow. Right now it is minus 3 degrees wind chill. That dumb Groundhog.....he did not know what he was talking about!!

Phil was correct about California. 75 again today, all of the fruit trees are blooming as is the mustard and clover. Very pretty!:flower3:

Sorry it is not as Springlike where you are!:flower:

We will hopefully get hit with more storms soon; we really need the rain!:umbrella:

Sorry Tammy that you won't be able to join us. :(

The Castaway newsletter - we got that in the mail. I assumed everyone did.

I am really feeling sick tonight...cold/flu like sick. I guess standing in the misty rain at MGM on Saturday is now rearing its head. I am going to try and make some corn chowder tonight and grilled cheese...not healthy but my comfort food. DH has a ball game so I'll be on my own with the girls until around 9:30 or so.

The cruise seems so far away....I don't want to wish the time away but I could use a deck chair and the soft sounds of the waves right about now!

I hope you feel better soon. I hate feeling sick - especially the flu. Therapy - whether for a cold or the blues - is thinking about the cruise. I imagine little moments - dancing with my kids at the pirate party or watching my sons blow bubbles at the sail away. It gives me such warmth. Here's hoping that thinking of the cruise helps send that flu away! pixiedust:

GO TROJANS! FIGHT ON! I love that Petey boy Carrol! :cheer2: :cheer2:

You mean the University of Spoiled Children!! Sorry, couldn't resist!!

My spoiled child, USC alumni, is the one that was setting pins in a bowling alley at 12 so he could have decent clothes to wear to school. Hardly spoiled, but he is very, very smart and a real hard worker.

No time to catch up with the 10 pages I haven't read yet, but I am signing out. I gotta finish packing for our vacation to Maui. We need to get up and outta here by about 6:30 tomorrow morning. I'll just have to try to catch up when I get back as DH would frown on DISing while on vacation. See you all in a week.

I SO want to go!!!! Have a wonderful time! :beach: Lisa

I got that in my email last week. Was quite surprised and wondered where it came from, but I think it had something to do with my signing into the DCL cruise page and staring at my reservation :surfweb: , just to make sure it was real! :beach: I was just making sure I wasn't dreaming:faint:

We received ours in email last week as well.

Sorry?:confused3
