I did not get a Post Card, but I got something better. I got a big package and it had in it 3 Don Ducky Williams Lithographs. They each include the MAGIC in the backround. A "Hole" Lot of Trouble; Dashing, Splashing Pals; and Building "Sanerella's Castle". I was very surprised. I am going to get them framed this weekend!!

  You have been Pixie dusted, by the mouse. pixiedust:

Definately not feeling the love.

Here's the little sickie....sorry if I posted this already! I posted it on another thread for the cruise he's joining me on, so I'm assuming I didn't put it on here since he won't be coming. :upsidedow

What a cutie! Hope his strep clears up and you stay healthy.

Well, everyone,

Steve and I are backing out of the cruise. We wish you all a wonderful time! PrettyInTink, don't let Kevin stay up too late on the ship!

pahrumpgirl,
Keep makin' those fish extenders and if you need binding, let me know. Oh, and hey to Roy!

Take care and have fun planning everyone!

Sorry to hear this. Don't go far, stop by a visit.

Now THAT would be fun! We might be able to arrange that! There is a parking lot at DL for the RVs. :thumbsup2 And by the way, PJ, Dennis would likely do just about anything for you! I think he thinks you are one of the kids now!

Angie, I so glad we are linked, I really wanted to spend much more time with you both this cruise. :sad1: :upsidedow

I got back the final quote....:cool1:
$396.00 plus tip from MCO to port (this includes a luggage van)

$453.00 plus tip from typical WDW resort.

They have 2 hummers in their fleet. I can reserve them now. Since there seems to be a large interest in getting to the port this way, please PM if you are interested, from where and how many in your party. Let's see what the numbers look like and we can go from there...

From the posts, and I realize none of this is set in stone....it looks like these are the ones who might be interested....and if I missed you, I am sorry:guilty: it is hard to catch everything in all these posts, but please PM me

from MCO (if do red eye or stay at Hyatt)

Also, and maybe from WDW

Kymma
not sure how many in those groups.

Of course the question for some of you traveling without kids...would you mind kids in the Hummer with you or do we want to try and split into family one and adult one?
If there are enough people that def. want in, I have no problem reserving it now. It takes a cc number to hold the reservation, but you can cancel up to 1 week before. I would think if we set up a 9 or 10 am departure from MCO that would allow most red eyes to arrive and those sleeping there to get up and still get us to the port early. :cheer2:

Thoughts?

here is the description from the website:
Ride the longest H2 HUMMERZINE in Orlando. . The new H2 HUMMER is an exhilarating, uncompromising SUV limo unlike any other. This exotic HUMMERZINE offers, 6 flat screen tv's, 4 sub-woofers, wood flooring, DVD, 3 a/c units,2 lasers, strobe lights & much more. Reserve the HUMMERZINE today & see why this exotic is the favorite of local celeberties. Please look below for rates.
It also says somewhere something about a dance floor!

And...has anyone used Happy Limo? The website says they are listed in the Passporter.

We put the kids in the luggage area of the hummer, sort of like a station wagon, they had a blast! Two TVs back there, lol.

They sent a SVU for the luggage, was a very tight squeeze, make sure the limo company knows approximately how many bags there will be. they might send a normal van with more room.

No problem with traveling in Hummerzine with kiddos for us!! Never used Happy Limo either but will check them out for December cruise.

I hope your dd 5 gets a lot of practice in spanish, definetly Estrella will be happier at the clubs if there are other spanish speaking kids there.

we are certainly working on getting hre to speak spanish.
Back from my day of beauty...all exfolitated, manicured, massaged and hair done. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!
Sounds like you had a rough day! ;) I am in horrible need of a day of beauty and rest.

Holly, Tyler is so cute. It's nice you can vacations both with and without your little one. DH and I were lucky to have grandparents who were dying to watch our babies, so we could take some "just the two of us" trips. It is definitely a double edge sword though. We loved the time to ourselves, but I also missed my babies. I put my foot down and said no more trips longer than just a few days without the kids. I just couldn't take it. Now that they're older, we're ready to have vacations by ourselves again.
We took our first "kidless" vacation 3 weeks ago to Zihuatenejo, mexico for 7 days!:cloud9: It was amazing. I cannot believe I waited so long. Of course it was hard leaving the kids, but we all survived and we have our next trip planned to go back there next march with some friends. :cheer2:

What a cutie. I know it is hard to leave them, but like I learned a few weeks ago, it is soooooo worth it:)

Count me in!!! There are three of us! (I just added my son) Of course, if the school district throws me in jail, I might have to give my seats away. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I am planning on staying at MCO the night before.

They can't throw you in jail until you commit the crime; Hummer, cruise, then jail.;) :teacher:

As Captain Jack would say: TAKE WHAT YOU CAN

GIVE NOTHING BACK!

Don't worry about this.....I think we should not care about this POST # thing anyway and invite them to come and have 10,000 or what ever. If we don't care, they can have it and it means nothing to any of us.....but since it does mean something to them.....we can still try and steal theirs!! How's that for strategy??

or...one of the Cruise Moderators is a very very good friend of mine and it is NOT lgraves.......hummmmmmm???

I LIKE the way you think! When we get close to 10,000 - or whatever, let's go post over on their thread and let them know so they can come over!

And, if one of us is online and notices they are near a pirate: , we can alert our thread, and we can go over and try to steal it!

What a cutie. I know it is hard to leave them, but like I learned a few weeks ago, it is soooooo worth it:)

That's exactly what I finally learned when I went on the cruise with Cindy in January. It was strange, but really relaxing to have the opportunity to try to remember how to be me again instead of mom for a short time. A co-worker once told me that her daughter's pediatrician told her the best thing a parent can do for their kid(s) is to take a break once in a while and just be an adult for a bit and then come back refreshed and ready to be a good parent! :thumbsup2

So I went over there to check the EB thread . . .

What I do is, when I close my laptop, I leave my browser open with all the active tabs. I opened a tab to their last page at 10:30 last night, and refreshed that page today . . .

In 24 hours, they have done 101 pages . . .:scared1:

So that is 1515 posts or there about.

That's just a little over one post a minute.

Now I know what my friend Lbgraves means when she says that thread never sleeps!

I am finding that to be so true as an empty nester. I love my GK's but in short doses. I raised literally two families, oldest DS and DD are 40 and 38 and DD with present DH is 21.

I am so done with raising kids!! After so many years, it is wonderful to be just be just an adult again!!

Since I am on both cruises, I tried to read...iteract with that thread for a few days....then I lost it......they are just nuts......I am much more comfortable here for sure!!

I really think we should save 10,000 and offer it to them....that will make them so mad!!

I can not even imagine keeping up with that thread and I spend a tremendous amount of time online. They are a very organized of pirates!! Nice group of people though as I seen many of them post elsewhere. Todd especially (DisneyVegas1) was especially helpful in helping me find a costumer for a Jack Sparrow cotume.

I like our group, we are more like the tortise group to their hare group. However, you know how the tortise and the hare story turned out!! We get to win the race as we sail first!!

I'm all for it! But let's not tell them until we get there.

On our DD Geek thread, we posted a lot, and had a lot of fun doing it and getting to know each other. It took us about a year to get to 60,000 posts, and it was a fun ride. Those of us who are here know how much fun we all had together, and we are warming up here in a similar way.

The EB guys are at over 30,000 posts in less than two months! They look like they are having fun though, and I posted over at our DD thread which is at a little over 70,000, that in no time flat we will be in the rearview mirror.

I was obsessive with our DD thread in keeping up, and sometimes lost sleep over it. If I had to do that for the next 18 months on the EB thread at warp speed, I think I would become a post reading zombie!

We are also considering staying at the Hyatt the night before, so we would be very interested in joining you on the Hummerzine. There are two of us, so please count us in !! Sounds like fun..:thumbsup2

Julie,

I enjoy reading your posts too. How I wish I would have learned Spanish in High School. I took French, and it is but a memory now, but I am confident that if I get to France again (went when I was in High School) that I could gain a lot back quickly.

I learned Greek as my first language - Mom immigrated from Greece and dad was Greek. With mom gone now, even my Greek is getting a bit rusty. They dont speak Greek much in this part of the world!:rotfl2:

Are any of you big readers?

I enjoyed Dan Brown's books for fun reading, and found another author in a similar vein - Steven Berry. I am now reading "The Alexandria Link". Fun reading. This is the last of his books - I've read the other three in the last several weeks.

It has been non-stop rain here all day! The snow is almost all gone.
