Well, I will stop talking to myself now and go clean that linen closet  have a good night everyone or good morning, depending on where you live.

Kaylee,

Wish you lived closer, I have lot's of closets that need cleaning out (and bedrooms and the garage...):lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Morning!! Quite a few things to reply to today - you have been busy!

I'm inserting myself very late into this thread, I know...but I've been reading the thread for a long time now and I'm wondering a vew things.

First, you sound like a fun group of people. Do you all know each other from previous cruises?

How can a newbie join the group? We're on the West Repro cruise in May08, our second Disney Cruise, and we're very interested in meeting other couples. I am 51 and DH is 48. We are also traveling with my parents, dad 78 and mom 72.

And finally, what is a fish extender?

Thanks
Tina

Welcome - everbody is so lovely and seem like fun.:cheer2: I haven't met anyone before - in fact I haven't been on a cruise before!

I am off to shower and shampoo and then crawl into bed and drool over Hugh Laurie....sigh...those of you who are totally gaga over AI, good luck with that one. I caught the last 10 minutes last night and frankly, I was shocked and my dogs started howling. Frightening....truely frightening....:scared1:

Night all....

I hope you enjoyed drooling!!! We from the UK just can't for the life of us see what you all see in Hugh Laurie!!! You need to watch Blackadder!!:rotfl:

Did anyone else receive a postcard from Disney about the cruise? I got our preliminary cruise info, but no postcard from Mickey welcoming us. One of dd's classmates is going on the cruise and her mom mentioned that they got a postcard in the mail. I am feeling very unloved by DCL if I am the only one who didn't get one :sad1:

Do you only get things from DCL when you book direct? I would have loved a Mickey card!!!

We plan to spend lots of time touring the US after we retire. 13 months!!!:yay: :yay: We have made lots of friends on the DIS that we plan to visit. John1 in Ohio, Vanessa in FL, PJ up in Canada and lots of friends and relatives in between. We have friends or relatives in almost all the states. Well at least 40 states. This is our dream and we are just so excited to see it coming true. We brought the MH home today and I made dinner out there. :lmao: Silly kids with a new toy!

What a great way to spend 13 months!

Hope you all have a good nights sleep, not disturbed by gunfire, explosions, military helicopters or anything.

Good morning Karen and Mandy if you are around.:yay:

Good Morning, Marilyn!

If you ever get a chance to see Hugh Laurie in House, you will understand. I wasn't fond of him in Blackadder either, but he is great in this. He's difficult at times to like in this show, but he's almost always attractive in and odd way.:confused3

It' still pretty chilly here, down to 32 tonight, we are supposed to get frost in the morning, but it should be clear and sunny the next couple of days. Then more rain. We still haven't received our percent of normal yet, so more rain is OK!:umbrella:

Have a great day!

Karen

One of our channels had House episodes all day last Saturday and I managed to watch 3!!! It is a good programme and as you said he is difficult at times!! I suppose I can see a bit what you mean - I have a friend who I think would drool over him as she likes the unshaven look!!! I prefer clean shaven men - age thing I think. John looks like a tramp every time he hasn't shaved for a day!

I first saw Hugh Laurie in House when in the US last year and nearly fell off the bed!! I had to double check it was him.:rotfl:

I do actually prefer the short hair and clean shaven look. But it's more his personality that is attractive, again, in a very strange way!:happytv:

Karen

Well we women are a strange breed!!!

Yes, but we wouldn't change that, now would we!! (Royal we, of course!!)princess:

Good night, or good morning I should say. I am going to toddle off to bed and get my 4.5 hours of sleep now!!:faint:

Karen

Good morning everyone!:)

Lots to catch up on today:)

Thank you everyone for the pixie dust and thoughts. My grandfather passed away this afternoon and is finally not suffering any longer.

I appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers and whatnot they helped me get through all this.

Hi there from the UK!
Lovely to have more people joining in. Everyone on here is so freindly you'll soon feel like you've known them forever! I didn't know anyone before this thread either, but can't wait to meet up and share those cocktails now!;)
Enjoy!:cool1:

East Coast waking up!!!

And BTW, I didn't know anyone on this cruise before either. One short month later, and it feels like I have so many new friends.

This is so true!! I feel very lucky!!

Did anyone else receive a postcard from Disney about the cruise? I got our preliminary cruise info, but no postcard from Mickey welcoming us. I did not get a Post Card, but I got something better. I got a big package and it had in it 3 Don Ducky Williams Lithographs. They each include the MAGIC in the backround. A "Hole" Lot of Trouble; Dashing, Splashing Pals; and Building "Sanerella's Castle". I was very surprised. I am going to get them framed this weekend!!

I hope you enjoyed drooling!!! We from the UK just can't for the life of us see what you all see in Hugh Laurie!!! You need to watch Blackadder!!:rotfl:
:

I am embarassed to say I have no idea who Hugh Laurie is!!

Nite Karen, nice talking. Hope you have a good night's sleep.

It really makes me laugh :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: how you guys talk to each other...one just getting up for the morning and the other not in bed yet!! It really is kind of neat!

A postcard from Mickey wouold be great but I won't hold my breath....we've receoved no paperwork at all as yet and I don't suppose we'll get any til the last moment!:confused3

Hyatt MCO is right inside the main terminal at the airport. Great for getting off the plane and rolling right into the hotel. Rooms were quite, very nice and beds were comfortable. We didn't use the outdoor pool.

We use Hyatt both ways if we are going to arrive the day before and leave the day after the cruise. The bellman rolled the bags right to the counter and we went right through security as we have FlyClear.

Hotel website as follows:

http://orlandoairport.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Noel

We really like the Hyatt too. The outdoor roof top pool is great! We stayed there the first night of our honeymoon and swam really early the mext morning in the sunshine....cool! We'll be there the night before the Repo too:)

Maybe some of us could meet up?

I think doing something like that sounds great:thumbsup2 I was hoping to get a limo as a surprise for the girls anyway. So, once we all start making our plane reservations, we can see if any of us have similar arrival times and can try and organize a big limo of sorts.:surfweb: I would be willing to try and organize this. I figure most of us will book plane tickets this summer, so that should give me plenty of time :yay: I'll try and remember to bring up this idea again when we book our tickets.

That sounds like a great plan! We were planing on looking at how to get from the Hyatt to PC too:)

Good morning Karen and Mandy if you are around.:yay:

Morning Marilyn!:cheer2:

Phew! Think I'm all caught up for now!

Now I have to go and nag my bad dd as she is off college today and I know she has a whole heap of coursework to finish and give in tomorrow.....grrrrrrr:mad: We've had problems before when she gets too stressed so I'm hoping this is just a one-off!:guilty:

Good luck, how did it go?

Well, it's actually today (3/1) that I planned on going after work to sign up. Not going to work today because Tyler has strep throat, but I'll be going after he goes to his dad's house when his dad gets out of work. I'm anxious to hear what they can tell me and hoping they will inspire me and make me feel encouraged! :thumbsup2

Not one single thing from Disney. Never have in the past either. Maybe that other family booked straight through Disney? Don't know if that would matter or not.

Good morning Holly.

Hope Tyler isn't too poorly today for you. All the best At WW tonight.

Hope Tyler feels better. There is so much going around right now. I have heard of so much strep!!!

If you set you mind on losing weight, you can do it......It really is a mind set. You have to really really want to lose. I was pregnant at 40 (10 years ago). After Gretchen was born, I was like "I can eat anything I want...I am nursing!!" Well, that worked for my first 2 children, but my system changed after 40 and I found out when I quit nursing I weighed 190 pounds :scared1: :scared1:

It took me a year ,but I got back to 150 pounds (I am 5' 8" tall and 150 is a great weight for me). Over ten years I have put on 20 pounds.....and this year I decided to lose it. Since Jan I have lost 10 pounds.....10 more to go.

I think the only thing that has helped me is the I REALLY REALLY want to lose the weight.

I wish you the best of luck!!!
