The UKers should be up and on the DIS soon!! I keep such long, late hours and have enough flexiblity at my shop that I can usually check in during most of the day and evening, but I know that others might have more of a "life"... or something!

Was just looking at the Casual Living site and glanced throught the clearance section. They have some great SHOES on sale!!!

Yes, more SHOES!!

Did I ever mention that before all of my foot issues and the need to wear orthodics, my nicknam was Imelda? I also worked at Emporium in the shoe department for 6 years!! Once owned well over 100 pairs of shoes!!

Alas, those days are gone... Sigh...

Got my hula hoop class at 10.15 - let's hope I have improved! Tomorrow I may go to the gym and do more or even Who knows!!!

Well, I was asleep but our Marine men must be doing some practicing down at Camp Pendleton because they're bombing away and it's freaking me out! We live FAR away (45+ miles) from there but you can feel the reverberations in my home! If I open the door I can vaguely hear it. They're preparing for something, not sure if it's the new troop deployments or what but the last two weeks they have been very active. We've lived here for 6 years and we only heard it one other time about 4 years ago. At that time we called the police department and they confirmed it. My friend lives in San Clemente (which is much closer to Pendleton) and she said they see the helos and hear the machine guns firing right now. Man, I've never heard it like this, it's really scarey, I can only imagine how our soldiers feel in Iraq. I don't want to wake up my husband, but I cannot sleep now. Okay, happy thoughts....

How unnerving!!! What about headphones and music? I am very sensitive to sound and motion, so I can truly relate to having trouble trying to sleep though all that.1

It really is unnerving...like I said the worst I've ever heard it. It's one after another. I'm actually going to have a glass of wine. Here comes my youngest child...he's a light sleeper like me....

We've had rain, hail, thunder, lightning and snow on down to 1000 feet. I love it, if I don't have to drive to much in it! We are supposed to have more tomorrow and then it is supposed to be a lovely weekend!

I'm just back - off soon though. Going to rain all day here I think - oh, it is sunshining at the moment, but looking out at the grey clouds I don't know where it is coming from!!! Windy too today!!!

Anyone know how to go about changing user name on here? I seem to have emailed everywhere I can think of but get an automated reply that doesn't help. I did reply to the closest subject to what I was asking, but never heard anything. I am just stuck with the 'gran'!!!

Went to a Longaberger event at the Jelly Belly factory just 30 minutes from our house (yes, just 30 minutes for you Jelly Belly fans!)

It was SO COOL We got to make our own baskets and they have Jelly Belly colors in yellow and red and special Jelly Belly tacks on the trim! I am actually going to take my DD there again on Thursday and make one for my friend who got me started (hooked) on Longaberger and then moved to New York. My DD is so excited as she loves making things and loves Longaberger!!

I live about three miles from Longaberger's headquarters, the largest basket in the world. When I worked I went past it twice a day almost every day. I am only about a 1/2 hour or so from the factory. My mom was in to the baskets and my cousin is into them but the only ones I have are the ones that I have inherited or have been given. I just don't have the room for them and all my Disney stuff and off course Mickey and friends take priority.

From what I have read on the thread before about the only way to do this is to re-register. You will start all over on your post count but since you are still fairly new that might not make a difference. Just be sure to tell everyone when you post that you have changed. That is what one of the guys on our 11 night SC thread did.
