I entered, but I gotta say that after nearly 40 years of marriage we have found that we are lucky in love, but are not lucky with gambling or winning prizes. We do, however, continue to enter these things, just in case. ;) :lmao:
Somebody's gotta win and it won't be you unless you enter, so I'm glad you did! Me too! But since we're only a family of 2, I'll have to figure out who to take with us if I win. That's a problem I'd be happy to have!

Celine Dion's green dress didn't work for her. Bracelet was gorgeous but dress, thumbs down..

She didn't look very happy to me when she was interviewed tonight. That was my take. The dress looked too uncomfortable to me, like she'd have to be adjusting it all night or something.....

Fond of Disney are you Linda?:rotfl:

Actually I didn't know you could get Disney paint colours. You will be so Disney inspired in there.

DD's room was Tinkerbell green and we decided to paint the ceiling green, too. Her room was on the sunrise side of the house...beware, her room used to glow! She, of course, loved it! When we moved her into her big brother's room, she opted for pink. I will NEVER forget the glowing room, though...

Carolyn

The ceiling is done! It is Tinkerbell green! Yipee. Now I just need to buy the pixie dust stencil. Home Depot didn't have.

I I want to know how you get out of Costco on $100.....we call it the :scared1: $300 store :scared1: at our house.... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Okay, I lied. We spent $332. Bought 3 new pairs of watershoes. They are really cool. $29 each. Made by Speedo. They are a water shoe (like a sneaker so they don't come off). They came in lime green and baby blue (I got me lime green, Jamie blue) and Robert got a darker blue. They are really kewl. Will definitely bring on the PC cruise!

So, after this and your earlier descriptions of this awesome Disney colored room, you do realize we're all gonna want to see pics?! ;)

We will be at an Oscar party tonight . . .

They have a full home theatre with all of the surround sound, vibrating chairs, big humongous screen stuff! My DH is living vivaciously though them! . . .

First Pong, then Atari. Now this!

Woody

I'm going to try to get over to the Lose Before You Cruise thread tomorrow after work. My goal is to join WW on March 1. So I'll be struggling right along with you!

I'm back. I will see you over there. And here too!

This is what I come up with:

CALmom - Lisa - 1968
Lakadaisy - Lisa Daisy - ??
LiserAnn - Lisa W - 1965
LisaG520 - Lisa - 1967
disneylover5 - Lisa Anne - 1957

Anyone else I missed?

ps: even though it is not my birthday, I would love to come to a birthday party for the Lisa's...sounds like another good excuse for Palo Brunch!!

A brunch sounds great! My DSis and I are in!

Lisa - 1959 (aka Lisa-daisy just in case the multiple Lisa's gets too confusing :) )

DH and I got a pair of those as well. They are very comfy for water shoes. DH has been wearing his in Costa Rica right now and says they are great.

No problem. Still gotta put in countertop and sink and hang some pictures. then I'll take some pictures and post.

Probably a couple of weeks since I'm headed to Baltimore this Wed. and out of town until Sunday pm and then the next week headed to indianapolis. Then I'll be home till April 5th!

We will be at an Oscar party tonight in full dress up, pull out the tux and sequins mode!

We are bringing the lobster tales and our close friends are bringing the filet roast! Of course, we are also bringing wine! :dance3:

Should be fun! I'll report later!

Karen

That sounds awesome - we are watching pj's and had subway for food. Though we are watching in HD.

Sounds great to me too! - LisaG520

:rotfl2: I have never heard of any of those names! Sad, but funny! Hmmmmmm......kind of obvious that I don't wear makeup, huh?! :rotfl:

Thank you Holly, I'm with ya there...I did understand the MAC comment, but Noel ya lost me with that list....:lmao: (a side note....for the Xmas 05 cruise I bought some new makeup, (estee lauder) last time I did that was for my wedding day 10 years ago)

We had a fabulous dinner with 12 (+ us 4) at the fancy california cusine resturant know as "McDonalds" :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: Wilson's choice for his family birthday party. As each guest arrived he handed them an envelope containing $7 (for his 7 years) and instructed them each to buy themselves a nice dinner and bring him back the change. That boy was on :cloud9: We all ate our burgers and fries and then we brought around 16 ice cream cones with one candle in his (of course) sang HB and then he opened his presents. What a party!!! Life is short, I say let your kids have a ball....

Back to the tv for me, haven't seen any great dresses yet either, I missed the red carpet, I'll have to catch Cojo's report tomorrow on ET.

:happytv:

All you "youngsters" don't recognize the names of skin care lines, not makeup lines as you are still young enough not to worry about aging skin.

I very seldom if ever wear makeup but moisturizers, eye cream and night creams are essential at my age.

All the great gowns are on the oscar.com website where you can check them out.

I setup a "Weekly Weigh-in" thread under the "Cruise Before U Lose" discussion on the Ship of Thieves discussion board. But I didn't want to be the first to post because I didn't have a good week. :rolleyes1

Here's my stupid question for the day. Is there a reason why there are so many pockets on the Fish Extender? Is there supposed to be one pocket for everyone in the cabin?

I was going to make my own but didn't want to appear greedy by having too many pockets on my Fish Extender!

Terri, that's so cute! My guess is 'it's just tradition'. Perhaps the first ever fish extender had five pockets (it is five, isn't it?), so all the 'copies' do. Actually, wasn't the original purpose of these holders to go in kids rooms for holding toys or clothing or something? :confused3 They seem perfect as beanie-baby holders.

OK, bedtime here kids. Hope you enjoyed the Oscars...I thought there were some delightful moments and I think I DISed during the mid-show boring stuff! :lmao:

That's right. They were around for years before they were adapted as "fish extenders." They were commonly used for incoming mail, outgoing mail, bills, coupons, keys, etc.

Well, the two of us would make 4! We'd be happy to join you if you win! :lmao:

We are just starting right??? I was way off this week. I will go over there tomorrow - but just to set the plan out for this week! Only thing I could report is that I just finished one of my kids snack bag of Famous Amos Cookies! Lisa
