Hi,

I am new to the boards. My wife and I are going on the May 2008 WB Repo Cruise, which is our first Disney Cruise and our very first cruise without our children or other friends and are hoping we'll meet other couples to hang out with on the cruise. I've been trying to keep up with all these messages, but am just not fast enough!

I've got a question - what is a fish extender?

So I'M not elleenchanted I would be "Grumpy John" you know, the lost hubby. This is my first time posting but I have been watching over her shoulder for weeks. I heard that called lurking but I think I prefer "SKULKING" after all this is a pirate outing. I look forward to this cruise more each day and can't wait to meet all our new friends.

Okay, The next six extenders were sent out priority mail today. Monica (mishoe01), Kari (txSleepingBeauty), Kim (kimerinc), Lisa (disneylover5), Karen (been2marceline) and Venetia (tink1963), be looking for yours soon. The next six probably will not go out now until next Wednesday. I am taking today and the weekend off from sewing to do some other things that need to be done around here but haven't wanted to do them.

Thanks to those that have had to put up with some of my slip ups for understanding. They will all be taken care of today (I hope).

Good afternoon all! We are driving home from Tahoe so excuse any typos as I'm writing from my Treo! I haven't checked my PMs today but know I got some more with the fish mail teams! To recap:
We will be making 15 teams that will be in charge of each day of the cruise. Each team needs a team leaders (hinting for volunteers!!). Each team will select what type of mail they will deliver and each team has their own budget as determined by the team members. How things get divided up amongst the team is up to them but I am strongly encouraging all money issues get handled ahead of time via paypal or mail so no one member of the team has that responsibility. Each team leader (did I mention we need some leaders??) will PM me as to what the team will do so we won't have any overlaps. It is first come, first serve as to which day your team get's. Once I can review my PMs, I will email PJ with web information. On the private website, we will post the teams and which days are picked. This will be fun! Be sure to name your team and if anyone is interested in being a team leader or on a team and haven't PM pls do! Also, this is all VOLUNTARY. You do not need to participate even if you have a fish extender. Mail goes to all! I think someone asked if they need an extender to get mail and I think the answer should be a yes or else it might be difficult. It wouldn't need to be anything fancy- just something we can put mail into! But any other thoughts on that?

Gosh, I havent been on all week. My poor dd is not recovering well from her tonsillectomy, has been back in the hospital twice for IV fluids.

Tonsillectomies are definately harder as you get older. When little kids hurt, they take it easy. The bigger ones seem to push themselves. I hope her weekend goes better.

Just a bunion removal on my foot. But the Dr. has me on crutches for a couple of weeks. It's really slow going trying to crutch around the world.

You should get a wheelchair and make someone push you around like royalty!

I agree. Put that foot up, and call for a DOD.

I agree that there would need to be something hung on the fish to put the goodies in. Even a Christmas in May stocking would do.

Daughter's been sick with the flu and I haven't been at work all week, I just read the last four pages and I realize I need an Aunty Summary Update Post. I would also like to contribute to the mail team club thingy...where do I send $$$? Mekayla would just love love love to get mail - I know that would float her boat! I just wanted to say that your fish extenders look alot better than the one I have. I wish I had seen yours before we bought ours as I love to decorate stuff!!! They look amazing!!!

NotSoLittleMermaid advises she will be there SUnday 5/20 also....so we could choose from that date also (may be more people can attend on the weekend). I'm open for Sunday 5/20 and Mon 5/21 (I'd need to drive back to Phoenix on the 22nd though).
