Martini tasting...WOW. didn't do that one on my last cruise. Is that one you recommend? I know dh will want to do the wine ones, but martini tasting is more my style Do you think the tastings are reasonably priced for the amount they give you?

Yes!! We shipped most of our wine for our last cruise as well. Because we are a wine shop and certified wine shipper, we are able to ship wine to almost every state! Our website is www.winemiles.com. If I have enough advance notice, I can even try to aquire special wines for you that we don't normally carry.

I think I mentioned this many post ago, but it is truly one of our favorites and we learned about from the GM and MS of wine from Napa Rose, Michael Jordan, on board the EB repo. He paired it with chocolate covered strawberries and we were hooked! I pulled it into the shop the minute I got home!!

Oh, yeah....I'll be ordering some Banfi Rosa Regale too! Hmmmm, should some of us be sharing a CASE??!??

The Walt on NYE???? How great is that? I'm so jealous now.

My GK's are very excited. They were the ones that convinced me that we had to stay at least ONCE in the Walt. Our room steward on the last cruise introduced them to the family in the Walt on our last cruise. I didn't think we were ever going to pry them out of the Walt!!

It is something to hang outside your door. There is a fish outside each door (I think metal or something). Anyway, you hang this cloth thing outside your door and other DISers drop off "mail" throughout the cruise. If you check the first page of the thread, there is a link to show pictures I think. So for this cruise, we are organizing giving "mail" - gifts really. We are organizing teams to help with the cost as there might be 100 fish extenders (mail boxes) out there! Hope that answers this - I think you will have no problem meeting other couples - whether here on the boards or once you are on board. Cruises are great places. Before kids, my husband and I went on a lot of cruises and are still friends with several couples we met. One UK couple came out on their honeymoon and we visited with them in SF!

Hi and welcome to a great group of thieves! I'm sure you folks will have a great time. Everyone is so friendly and there are already several fun things planned.

Be sure to read page 1. Send a personal message (PM) to Aunty Brat with your name and other info so you'll be added to the roster and ask her to send you the login and password for one of our websites. The other one www.shipofthieves.com you can get on without a password.

Once you can access the password-protected website you'll find a lot of information, including everything you want to know about fish extenders. Page one has a link to a picture of one. The short explaination is that they are a hanging thing with pockets that you hang off a metal fish that is on the wall outside your cabin. The fish is used to clip messages in. The "fish extender" extends the capacity of the fish. You will be receiving little gifts during the cruise from some of us and the fish extender will hold all that booty! Once you've read this thread and the websites it'll all make more sense.

On page one it also tells who you can PM if you want to find people to dine with, etc. Have fun and welcome to the group!

I know i don't talk as much as others and i don't know everyones name but i need some help. My grandfather had a 2nd stroke in 2 months and they aren't forcasting that his chances are all that great.

2/6 three day. 2/2 is when I hit WDW. I TRIED to get the group to do four day sea/3 day land, but was unsuccessful. Turns out it's for my benefit, as friends who were already booked on the 2/6 invited my sister and I to join them in the Walt Suite! Uh, gee.....lemme think about that offer
