Airport is about 20 miles from the port. I would plan on a noon flight or later just to be sure.

I have done both. Private transfer was about $60. which is less than the DCL transfers.

Thank you. With the car rental, I'm trying to find the easiest way to get back home. Seems like it be easier to toss everything into a car and drive home. Does anyone know of a rental place open on Sundays that is close to the port? I think most of the big companies do one way drop offs right? Lisa

We also want to hire a car to go to SF. Somewhere and I will have a browse, someone posted that they took a taxi to a nearby airport(can't remember the name) and hired a Budget car. Apparently they have an agreement with the taxi firm that the cost comes off the car hire price. There are other firms there I think.

But I've also heard of couples bunco (although I've not been able to wrangle DH to go to one).....

Our DD/DSIL and DN and his lovely wife were part of a couples bunco group. They all enjoyed the excuse to gather with their friends.

Pretty sure there will be some of us staying at WDW as well. Hopefully we can get a Friday meet together somewhere.

DS just called -- he needs a can opener. He doesn't live at home since he started university in Sept. He lives not that far away with 2 other housemates but it's closer to the university. Not sure what exactly he's been eating but apparently none of it has come from a can.

He's also requested tupperware to take his lunch to work next week so will have to run these over to him later. Not sure why he doesn't want to eat in the mess but apparently he doesn't.

He's not fond of frozen pizza although take out pizza is a different story. I think he's been eating cereal and sandwiches. He can cook but they have a microwave and only one pot so I think it's been microwavable entrees, cereal and sandwiches. He's branching out though hopefully with the use of the can opener.

Beer is a given - there's usually a keg in the kitchen when we go visit from the latest party.

He's got two housemates but one just shipped out to Aghanistan this week and the remaining one is a bit messy so we'll see how this goes.

Okey Dokey folks...spent 2 hours catching up on all the posts I missed. And let me tell you, I HIGHLY recommend to view them as printable since it went a whole lot faster!!!

Round Up

Fish extenders are not some crazy DNA experiment or something that your children should not see. Check out page 1 for more info and a link to a picture. And yes, you can view this picture at work...

Apparently card games like Bunco and Skip Bo are going to be joining the DOD at the Quiet Cove cafe and/or adult pool area. No word yet on strip poker or clothing optional Uno....

Just because adult females travel together does not make them an item. I know, because when people ask about us, we just tell them we are Lebanese.

Make sure you get those vacation request forms in!!! Never to early to make sure YOU are at the top of the list!!

Remember that Passports will be required by the time this cruise rolls around and apparently DCL will require Passport info with final cruise payment (got this update from the TA yesterday) So plan now and get those bad boys done already!!!
