I've been sick since Thurs. with a very wicked stomach flu--FINALLY today feel somewhat better. I didn't know it was possible for my fingernails and hair shafts to ache!!! I couldn't even stay on the computer very long, so you know I wasn't myself!

As far as t-shirts, I've had success making transfers for dark material with my printer . Is that what you're talking about?

A couple of references have been made to "DIStag"--what is that?

My DH is somewhat of a computer geek and has set a board up to help with the planning of the cruise. He would love to follow the activities but doesn't have time to read 30 pages a day on this thread. It's really an extension of the disboards but it has divided things into various threads rather than one big one. It's really for those that are having trouble keeping up with this thread. Right now the board is open but it can be closed to allow the kids to post with no worries and lots of people looking after them. Let me know what you think. A link to pj's website can be added -- probably once it's been closed so that it's not public.

would LOVE to hear more about what you do with them, what you put in them...I'm game....on our last meeting in California, our group was a little smaller, and we met at night, (by Scoops, my FAVORITE part of the ship and where you can always find me) the first night, each brought a brown bag, under $10.00 worth, to introduce themselves, and something in the bag from their native area....NOW, that was fun, but with this group, looks like we'd need a whole deck! This is how we hooked up for the week, and 2 years later.

The shirts just sounded like a good idea, so when we got on the ship, or in the afternoon, we would all recognize ourselves as part of this group.

Want to know examples of what to put in extenders, please.

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! I was just wondering has anyone else tried to figure out what the real cost of the cruise will be? I mean adding cost of cruise + tips and excursions? I think I read somewhere that the tipping should be $163 er person for the cruise is that right? I am just trying to figure out how much I should save in advance! I need money for flounders and drinking!!!! lol, that sounds bad when I put the two together...

We will be flying either out of PHL or BWI depending on flight prices at the time! We're about halfway between the 2 but usually fly out of PHL because of the traffic around BWI.

Yes, we are on board. Thank you to those of you who knew and kept it quiet, letting us make the decision as to whether we want to take this up again.

My DH and I have been reading the posts about the Fish Extenders and debating on whether we want to take up this project again or not. It all started when I found the Disboards for the first time and the thread for the 11night SC. They were busy talking about Fish Extenders and I wanted one. After looking and not finding one I decided to try and make one. One of the girls on the cruise was nice enough to send me pictures of hers and I figured out how to do it. At that point there weren’t many people on the thread so I offered to do them as a gift. Well, as we all know can happen, the thread grew by leaps and bounds and the project became bigger and more expensive than we anticipated (not that we weren’t happy to do it). Anyway, we have been hesitant because we really cannot afford that expense again. Luckily I am retired so the sewing isn’t really an issue. My DH and I would be willing to do this again but only if we charge. We can do them for $20 plus $5 shipping in the US. Outside of the US we would have to check on what shipping would be. That will just about cover the cost. The extenders will be a little different this time since it is a different cruise but the overall style will be the same and it will still be in Mickey colors. We have been looking at material and as soon as we make up our minds we will let you know what the colors and materials will be.

There, now the cat is out of the bag. Amesmom was the only one who figured out who I was. I am really surprised that since our Dis name has been brought up a couple of times in regards to this no one else had put two and two together. Anyway, feel free to PM if you have any questions.

DH and I always drink wine, martini's and do a lot of spa stuff so our total bill is quite a bit by the end of the cruise. Since we have been quite a few cruises, I have a pretty good idea of what I am going to spend. I add in my shore excursions and what I calculate I will spend on souveniers during each one of those. I throw in the pictures I will buy and souveniers for GK's. Then
I always calculate at a least $1K fudge factor because I know I am going to ALWAYS spend more than I calculate. I then transfer at least $1K additional to my debit card for those gotta have impulse purchases on the ship. Since I have 6 GK's, there usually are a few of those purchases.

John (JB) and I will be flying in and staying at the MCO Hyatt. We usually fly seperate so I may fly in at least one or two days before and he will fly in hopefully, the night before. Onoe or both of us are up for a mimi meet in our suite.
