now when I have to go through 20 + pages every morning just to keep up.....had I tried to catch up once a day.....I'd still be back on part 4:lmao:

Just curious for any of the 'left coasters'......Have you ever been to Legoland and what are your opinions of it.....That will be Liam's highlight of the whole vacation

Been there, done that. LOVED IT!!!! How old is he again? We went on Wilson's 4th bday, he wasn't in his totally freaked about legos stage, in it now. I'd like to take him now. I loved it. It was like a giant play land for adults too. Watch for cheap tickets, 2 for 1 and stuff like that. I see them around, I think I have some from subway. pm me and I can mail them to you.

Liam is 9 and not really into the motion rides...he inherited that from me...but he is really looking forward to the lego stores....

the store is ok, not as big as I would have liked. The rides are very calm, I think he may like them.

:lmao: :lmao:

I agree with you V, the only shots I am thinking about are the drinkable kinds! :cool1:
And, if that isn't a line for the TF, I don't know what it, :lmao: :lmao:

she already has a tag, I want a tag, I'm funny, ok not as funny as V but I'm funny aren't I???

I was opening crew at the Skydome, they stopped winning when I left, lol. Haven't watched a full game since.

Pj

:rotfl: In the deep recesses of my memories I picture some event at the Skydome with rain just pouring through the roof...what was that????

Nan,

Appreciate the offer, but have already purchased the package...return transportation and 3 tickets

I tivo'd both of those last night even though we've already seen the princess cakes. I've been watching for the Villian challenge that PJ mentioned a while back.
If you don't find this, let me know. I have it recorded.

The butterfly farm is something we'd really like to do.

.

We've been before in Aruba. Go very first thing in the morning. You can easily take a taxi to the butterfly farm. No need to pay the extra money for the excursion through the ship

No, not in the daytime too much business to do that day, but after we will go in and watch the swing dancers and leave after the fireworks.
We will be at the parks on April 19th. We will have our grandson with us also (please add him to your head count). We probably won't do the parks after dinner as it will be time for us to head back to San Diego.

Oh, Who suggested the Order of the Ditch certificates? I got mine today, it is so cool.

Do you know if the Captain will sign it, I left the commander signature line blank.

Pj

That was ME! Glad you liked it. And Yes, you can have the captain sign it during the captain signing. It should be listed in the navigator.

P.S. And I haven't got caught up on reading the thread, but you can go to Tiffany Publishing Company on line to order and have shipped to you.

I had to work yesterday, did anyone watch the PC program on the History Channel?

I am working again tomorrow and will miss Nimrod Nation on Sundance.:sad2: If you get the Sundance Channel and know a Yooper you should watch.

41 pages to catch up on, so I'll have to wait and catch up tonight after work. Might read a couple pages on and off during the day, but very busy, so might not be able to. Plus I have to leave early anyway for the IEP meeting at Tyler's school. :yay:

I'm glad this has happened so quickly. He's been in trouble at school every day this week. My phone call today at work informed me that he smashed his friend in between the wall and a puppet stage. Then about 1/2 hour later he cut his own hair. I know all kids cut their hair, so I don't care about that, but am sad that he had 2 incidents in one day. :sad2:

The OT yesterday was the 3rd Dr. to mention meds. She says from her experience in treating lots of different kids over 20 + years, she feels Tyler needs a combination of OT, behavioral therapy, and meds....all three in order to get the help he needs. She feels that in his current state, he won't make it past the first month of 1st grade. :scared:

And of course, I'm sure you all guessed, his dad still doesn't buy it. I can understand if all 3 doctors were telling us something different, but to have ALL THREE tell us the same thing.....what does the man need? A NEON SIGN? :headache:

sorry to vent, I know we all have kid issues, so I don't mean to blabber about stuff many others deal with just fine. just venting here. Stressed after arguing with his dad about this last night. :guilty:

Hugs to you Holly. We need to get together on the ship and talk, as I have been in a similar pair of shoes with my kids. We are doing much better now.

Yes, I was thinking we would use the fish extenders. It certainly doesn't need to be open to every day. I am very open to suggestions and some variety of each even day or something would be great. Just to have the children receive something every now and then and have some more excitement to look forward to. I don't want to discourage people based on the number of gifts or the amount of money involved. Let's just add to the magic of our children's experience.

On one of the cruises we did, people signed up for Secret Mickey and then the person they were assigned did 4 gifts total not to exceed a certain dollar amount and then you could deliver at your convenience whenever you wanted. Then we all got together and revealed the last sea day. When we signed up we sent a list of our favorite things: chocolate, diet coke, Tigger, scrapbooking, etc.

The cruise we did it on was the 10 night on the Wonder, maybe. It was longer than 7 days.

:rotfl: In the deep recesses of my memories I picture some event at the Skydome with rain just pouring through the roof...what was that????

I believe that was opening night, lol! All kinds of dancers on the field and rain just coming on it. It does take some time to close the roof, it was so funny.

Thanks for the reminder. I wanted to resend ours.....just to be sure they have it, as Nancy has an anaphylactic reaction to sulphites (preservative in seafood and a by-product of fermentation) and MSG

We've asked for a table to ourselves because the last time we sailed, the wait staff did such an outstanding job at protecting her, the other couple at our table felt slighted as they did not fully appreciate that she could die in minutes if she reacted to her food. and they let their displeasure be known to the Head Server and in their lack of tips to the wait staff.

that is rotten. Speaking of which, Marr & Steph we need to talk with our servers & tablemates and make the nut thing known at our table. I know the girls won't always be with us, so maybe we can gorge on peanut butter that day/night :goodvibes

Did anyone answer the question about books for the crew?
Someone was going to collect books at her stateroom for the crew since they love them and cannot take the ones left in Cove Cafe.
Someone else wanted some Harry Potter in Spanish so that was where the exchange was going to happen.

Also--back on post one--before it was lost--LUIS, ALVERO posted on post 19190. Someone said we have access to that thread, right? Did anyone find his post and contact him? As I recall he is a PILOT for the CANAL and may be able to answer questions as he did for the last 2 PC Crossings. I think he said that when the ship is in the lake he can visit DIS friends and had done so last time. We would have to get in touch, see if he is going to get the job of piloting our ship and see if he wants to meet any of our group.

I have skipped a lot here, and have GOT to get back to my CPR review--test at 3 TODAY:scared1:

Jan :earsgirl:

Yep, that's him. Here's my picture with him on the May 2005 PC crossing:

And another.....

He spent most of his day on Kelly's wrap around verandah on deck 7 aft. He was awesome. Kelly had brought him gifts from WDW for his kids to give him at the end of the day. It was an awesome memory!

He even autographed a couple of the PC transit postcards we bought that day.
