I am too wired now.
I figure it's better and worse, just depends on the day. Regardless, I'm thankful they are my kids. I can deal with who they are and they way they are since I love them so much...remind me of that in a week or so when I posted that I'm mad at them for something...![]()
Had a long day at work, then around 4pm that rotten shoulder pain came back again. Took a pill and went to bed to watch a movie, then came here to dis, almost done then bedtime for me.
Birthday coming soon, but hate to fly so until we are there I think I'll be stressed. Might be what the shoulder is about....
I've been toying with door signs.
Do you think that this one would be festive enough:

I was also considering the following sign:

Good Morning and Hello All![]()
I am officially an entire thread behind (250 pages). I had to catch up on life the past week or so and had to quit DIS "cold turkey".
Well, you know that couldn't last ... so here I am back again.
I am a DIS Junkie!!![]()
I will catch up slowly but surely ... but in the mean time ... if someone could please PM me anything vitally important I will send extra pixie dust your way.
Hope all is well ... how many days do we have to go?!?!
Karen
V go to bed! It's late...
I had asked this before and wasn't sure if it has been answered, so here goes again, sorry.
With the new rules about no food in checked bagage when we embark, does that apply to baggage we will be going home with as well?
I previously posted that we experienced a one hour delay in boarding the Magic because a Customs dog alerted to a checked bag belonging to a disembarking passenger. Disembarking passengers were delayed as well.Nope...no food going out either At lease that's what they say, but I know people take home rum cakes and such. I wonder if they take it from the ship in carryons and then put it in their luggage after? Anybody know?
Did you see - tonight is the SERIES FINALE of Jericho? I'm bummed - no moreon Tuesdays...

Yes, while the Magic was docked at Port Canaveral, we had to wait in the parking lot across the street with all our luggage (the porters would not accept incoming luggage). We were told it was a bomb scare. That's why I'm confused...I know folks buy the rum cakes, but I remember one of the times boarding was delayed was because the dogs did an 'alert' on a piece of luggage that had food in it??? Woody, was that one of your cruises?
How can they do that...I really liked that show. I haven't seen the finale yet, so no chat, but it was a show that really made you think..what would happen. There was so much it could have explored..the effects of the bomb on the existing states etc.
When we were delayed, the dogs alerted to packaged food. You can bring packaged things home, if customs has not changed in the last 4 months. You cannot bring any fruits or veggies, nothing that is open.
Marilyn,We are leaving DL on Wednesday 27th May around 1pm . . .
Would anyone be interested in a final breakfast at Storytellers that morning?
It was a sealed pre-packaged item.I was wondering if the fact that it's packaged makes a difference? Like you can't take some cookies wrapped in a napkin, but you can take a prepackaged item.
I know people say its overrated but John really wants to eat at Blue Bayou. . .
There's something very special about the Blue Bayou. We still go -- even with people who work for Disney.I wholeheartly agree with him. The first time is wonderful, it's an exprience dinning in my mind
Marr offers good advice. While the Blue Bayou is not haute cuisine, it's vastly better than the other offerings in DL, and is in a particularly unique setting.Hey I usually eat there every trip and the steak has always been great! Not true "fine dining" at least up to my standards for that but then again in the Napa Valley the standards are set really high. However for DL it is really good and the kids like being inside the ride.
Ouch!Did everyone hear that Delta is now imposing a $25 charge on the 2nd piece of luggage that is checked?
Charles Schulz was a class act. When DW was young(er), she wrote him, and he wrote back!I can remember one trip to CA - I was very very young....Charles Shultz (at the time) owned a skating rink where we were.
