V, I really enjoyed seeing the pics of your granddad's jacket and reading the stories about him. He sounds like a great guy! How lucky you were to have him in your life!:lovestruc

I have a formal question. I bought a dress that is formal material and looks formal but it not floor length. It is actually short. The guys were just going to wear suits and of course Brooke will wear the Giselle costume. Do you guys think that is formal enough? The bad thing is we are all wearing black except Brooke. It's so cute when everyone matches.

I think many shorter dresses can be great formals. No need for a floor length dress by any means. I wish I could have all three in my group match but it is just too many night to worry about so in a dress or a suit of any kind will work for my kids and a tux for Dom on formal nights.

It was one of those moments that just seemed surreal while it was happening. And I had just spent like 8 hours working in the heat in the summer so I really wasn't totally with it if you know what I mean.

Geez I hope the apology was a really good one! I know the police have to stay on edge due to all the bad people out there but it is always bad when they make mistakes that affect people such as yourself who are totally innocent and minding their own business.

did the tux fit?

:thumbsup2 We really look foward to meeting you both. :goodvibes

And we are looking forward to meeting you two and Carol and Doug! Great table!!!:cool1:

I say wear what you are comfortable in (as long as it isn't lime green)

I think we will have the whole range on formal night.

No lime green? :rolleyes1

No Indiania Jones!

Thanks Gydell. :sad1: about Indiana Jones, but understandable I suppose.

I absolutely love how relaxed I feel after the chiropractor! When I used to work for UPS about 4 1/2 years ago, our insurance had chiropractic coverage. No migraines during that time! And the massage chair after each adjustment left me feeling like jello. So nice! :cloud9:

I don't find being there relaxing, but afterwards my body feels relaxed and loose!!! When he has to adjust my neck he alsways has to tell me to relax as that it what I hate the most!!! CRACK!

:rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: Um. nope. I've been packing for US for 41 years. It works in our world. Although I do have to admit that the last couple of trips DrHug has done some of his packing himself. He did all his packing for a trip to my niece's in Washington State.....we made a trip to Walmart for some jeans and underwear! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That would be John too!:lmao:

Thanks everybody for keeping me sane last night. I stayed at the hospital till 3:30am while my DH slept at home. He got up and we switched at 3:30am. I came home and slept.

I would have kept reading but my eyes started burning and that blackberry screen gets really little.

The hospital is the largest tramua center in the DC area. I was there from 8pm till 3:30am and I counted 12 helicopters landing with trauma patients. Right next to Frank was a police office (female) keeping a prisoner under control and he gave her a really hard time. She was TOUGH!! I laughed and said to her..."Boy, are you going to be a great mom!" She did not take any crap at all from that guy. She had a taser pointed at him all the time. It was a little scary.

The was a girl that came in in labor...she was about 16 years old and she was screaming her lungs out. I felt so sorry for her. They kept asking her if her water had broken and all she could say was there is so much blood...of course the wisked her off. All I could think of if she could have seen this night 9 months ago.......oh well.

Frank is okay....right now......I am starting to think he will never get better.

Long hard night for you Lisa. Will keep praying.

They put out a schedule just like the movie theater, but the trick is to see the movie w/o interfering with sun time, drink time, game time etc...

Such a problem!!!!:rotfl:

I want this one ... what do I need to do??? These are all so cute!! I am so enjoying looking at them all.

Ken, Mousefaninqueue is going to see what he can do with that graphic. Otherwise you can right click and save the picture.

Darrell wouldn't forget pants - he would just think the pair he was wearing would be all he needed for a week or so :rotfl2:

This is John again!!!:lmao:

wow if we had memberships and what not to pay we'd be in the hole....after all the stuff is deducted from my pay I do not bring home much at all! Neither does John really.....our mortgage is crazy! Samantha's college is paid for and we signed up for Haley's this year - paying on a 5 year plan - only because my dad and his girlfriend agreed (insisted) they pay for the first year. I am not sure how we can handle the payments next year...will be an adjustment for sure! in addition to everything else!

That's great that you and John have Samanthas college done and are now working on Haleys. You may have to sacrifice some extras here and there for those few years but it is so worth it the wonderful thing you are doing for your kids.
:cheer2:

I am always so amazed to read your posts. You are going non stop all the time giving your all to everyone in need. I hope things look better for Frank sometime soon and hope you fully enjoy this trip and all it's adventures as you have so earned it.

She says things are better now! Thank goodness!

Did everyone hear that Delta is now imposing a $25 charge on the 2nd piece of luggage that is checked?

No way! We are flying Delta......I am really bummed on this luggage issue....Dleta also charges $80. (i think) if you are over 50 pounds.....

I am sure we will need a dry run this time.

SECOND piece? Oh my that is crazy! So people going on long trips are supposed to pack only one bag? Suppose there is nothing to do but pay it but still crazy!

Yup - another $50.00 to the account....DH says that this is a trip of a lifetime so we (make that I) should not worry......But honestly......

I have started my packing for John now.....I have 7 polos is that too many you think?

AT $25 per extra bag - yum, yes????

Serioulsly, I need all the hints on packing s we have always driven to/from the ship. I am beginning to have second thoughts on laundry.....

I am wondering about this as well. He only has two polos, one nice button up and like 5 Hawaiians because he wears suits to work and t-shirts on the weekends. I don't want to buy him too many more because he won't wear them. He'll have to wear them more than once.

DH will be wearing Hawaiian shirts for most dinners as well......

I think I will pack the dive gear and the formal night and other themed nights and weigh bags then decide what else we will wear - hey who said we can't be pirates for more than 1 night???

But Black and White is so formal as well....She will look beautiful in front of the rest of you wearing black....
