I have had only three tickets in the 30+ years I have driven. the last one is a story though, I was coming home from an overtime stint at around 5:AM in late April a few years back in my then brand new Pontiac Grand Am SE and with the windows down for the first time all winter and the tunes CRANKED well I topped a hill, and there he was . The officer just turned on the lights he never even moved his cruiser. I pulled up right in front of him and stopped. when he walked up to my car, the age old question, "do you know how fast you were going". Well I realy did not so I said "no officer, its a new car and I was tooling to the tunes, I guess I was stinging it a bit" "I clocked you on radar at 105" OMG he came back to the car and gave me a ticket for "not obeying traffic signs" other wise they would have pulled my license right then and there.

It probably helps that for most of my driving years I have been driving a VW bus. They don't go very fast especially up a hill.

I love your journal cover. Got a question for you, how are you applying the cover to the book? I assume you are buying a book and doing this?

John is really quite reserved until you get to know him or if he has relaxed. We got on so well with our two tablemates on the cruise that he was really enjoying himself and quite entering in to things. I am sure he is going to be the same on our cruise. He has a lot of stories to tell!!!

Nan you can print out on card stock and have it bound at a copy store. Is on the creative DIS area....they have journals for kids of all ages. I am trying to put on together for Samantha.

It depends if you want to do laundry and if he will wear them just for dinner and then change. (so he could wear them twice) I think I will pack just a few for DrHug. More t-shirts for him, tropical shirts for dinner. 3 dress shirts to wear with his suit, 1 pirate outfit. Several pair of khakis. 2 swim suits

I am wondering about this as well. He only has two polos, one nice button up and like 5 Hawaiians because he wears suits to work and t-shirts on the weekends. I don't want to buy him too many more because he won't wear them. He'll have to wear them more than once.

I am buying a journal and putting it on the cover. I will use Modge Podge as it is great and can get wet. We use it to make coasters. I don't remember the disigner but will try to find out.

Yay!!! I think we're getting one of those checks too, but I'm not sure when ours will get mailed out or how much we're getting. We still haven't gotten our tax refund, though according to DH it's supposed to get mailed out at the end of this week

If your last two digits of your Social Security number are 00-09, you could expect that rebate check to be mailed by May 16.

It’s by May 23 if the last two digits are 10-18.

It’s May 30 if the digits are 19-25.

It’s June 6 if the digits are 26-38.

It’s June 13 if the digits are 39-51.

It’s June 20 if the digits are 52-63.

It’s June 27 if the digits are 64-75.

It’s July 4 if the digits are 76-87.

It’s by July 11 if the digits are 88 -99 and the person did not use direct deposit of a refund this year – or if you wrote a check to cover money owed for the 2007 tax year.

I have absolutely no idea how to pack for this trip. We are doing the cruise and then two weeks at WDW after the cruise. I do have some dropps detergent and guess I will have to plan on doing a bit of laundry here and there. I am going to have to stock up on quarters and 1 dollar bills for the laundry. I need to get my daughter a new swimsuit so she will have two to wear and get out her summer clothes to see what still fits. I think my son is all set as he has several outfits from last summer that still fit.

DON'T FORGET EVERYONE WHO HAS DISNEY VISA CARDS!!! ORDER YOUR REWARDS CARDS IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY HAVE ONE... THEY CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WEEKS OR SO TO GET - AND YOU CAN CALL AND HAVE ANY POINTS YOU'VE ACCUMULATED AFTER GETTING THE CARD ADDED ON!!!
