That's why we chose this cruise too! I looked at the prices for the 7 night mexican riviera and this was not that much more for twice the days so it was a no-brainer for me and on our last DCL cruise we were going and going too and didn't see much of the ship ...didn't make it to the adult section or pool or even the goofy pool...of course we made it to the mickey pool that slide was one of their highlights:goodvibes Hoping to relax some on this one with all the sea days so don't want to overcommit:rolleyes1

glad to know there's someone else who's in it for the sea days! We'll have to chill at the pool together. I am bringing 3-5 books and I plan on getting through ALL of them...a girl can dream!

I think they'll notice that one:rolleyes: they'll keep asking where's minnie and goofy:lmao: besides DH and I usually take RCCL without the kids but DCL is for everyone and I trust their kids club better because of the disney reputation I figured they are better taken care off ...does that sound silly :confused3 I figure they screen people better than other cruiselines:confused:

It doesn't sound silly to me. I was talking to a mom at the kid's school the other day that goes on Carnival and she mentioned the kids clubs. I didn't even realize other cruise lines did that. I thought it was only a Disney thing.

We do rccl too...my daughter loves their kids club. She had a great time...wanted to stay until the end etc. Just like disney. They had great peope and the plus on rccl, you can pay them cash to have the kids stay later..which is nice if you want to go out dancing or the bar..they'll stay open until 2am and it's 5 buck an hour...total deal.

gaylean welcome to the relaxation club....we'll be meeting at the adult pool daily! hahahahaha

Ethan told me that he knew the leprechauns were not real and Santa was but he wasn't sure about the Easter Bunny because he is scary and bunnies can't get that big!

:lmao: my DK have no clue they are so innocent...we've never said Easter bunny or Santa or toothfairy but they hear it from their classmates and totally convinced its real...my DD sometimes asks questions and I just change the subject:confused: I just don't want to have the kids that ruin it for everyone else in the class especially my DD she likes to talk ....alot:eek: it's funny because she comes off as shy but once she feels comfortable she talks non-stop wonder where she gets that from:rolleyes1

OK, I tried to prepay our stay at the Hyatt MCO for the night of May 9th, and no go. There is no way to easily prepay it. It is really involved and requires faxing stuff back and forth, photocopying credit cards, etc.

They said I could probably do it on line. I tried there as well, and there is no way to prepay.

My hopes of zero bills after the vacation are dashed.
.

Well I am with you and have prepaid everything and to prepay the Hyatt I purchased three $50 gift cards from the local grocery store. Not sure if you would want to go this route but it worked for me:thumbsup2 Only way I could find to do it though.

¡Feliz cumpleaños Marilyn!

¡Happy Easter everybody!

Guess what?????? I´M PREGNANT!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I am just waiting to see how morning sickness hits me, because if it is bad, we will have to leave ship, hopefully it will be just like my other pregnancy where I felt great all the time.

In case we don´t make it, since we might cancel at the last minute, we will still be paying for our part of the hummerzine and the fish extender team, so count us in for both, please.

Julie....Congratulations!!!!! I hope the pregnancy goes wonderful for you and you are able to still cruise :goodvibes

My DD as well. She is shy but she can talk to me! And she is at the age where she gets bored if someone isn't paying attention to her so she is constantly saying "I don't know what to do". My DH says she gets that from me because I can never make decisions!

I would love to relax by the pool. I have never been on a cruise before but I love to have a drink at the beach and relax so I can't imagine it being much different on the ship!

Just popping in quickly....skimmed the last 20 pages or so everyone posted today....

Angie, Hope you feel better soon!

John1, glad to hear Amy made it safely. Enjoy your week and get caught up in work so you can relax on board.:goodvibes

We watched Hairspray today (finally) and that is such a good movie. I had to buy a projector for the classes I have been teaching recently, so I brought it home and hooked it up to our dvd player so we could watch movies on the "big screen" The girls loved it.

Hope everyone had a great easter!

Going to read now....has anyone read Jodi Picoult's Picture Perfect? I just finished that one....another great one by her!

Forgot to mention....great pics Lisa! Beautiful girls...all of them...you have your hands full for sure! Glad you had a great trip, you needed it.

By the way, your happy easter posting made me think of your "days till we cruise" postings you used to do periodically:goodvibes
