the worst mom here, I picked up Molly at school and told her that the Easter Bunny sent me an email telling me to run to Sees to get candy for him. I just had no other time to do it this weekend. So Molly shopped for her own Easter Bunny candy I made her promise not to tell Wilson.

No, you are not worst mom as we all are busy nowaday. Worst, I bought three easter eggs from my work as these were from Staff Shop as some of it had broken. Save my money!! Yes, I keep some money for my new swimcostume See I am bad mum

So, I come home from vacation last night and MIL tells me that our cat Pirate is bleeding, but she can't tell what's wrong. He's leaving little droplets of blood on her bedspread and elsewhere. I call the vet to ask what to do. The vet has me driving all over town to find aquarium gravel to put in the litter box and wants me to collect his urine and study his stools. This all sounds like so much fun, I can't even tell you.

When I'm checking on him this afternoon, Pirate sneezes and sprays little drops of blood all over my bed. OK, at least I know which part of his body it's coming from. I call the vet back, only to have the office tell me she's gone for the day and can't see me til Monday. But they recommend I take the cat to the vet hospital at the university. It's considered an emergency visit, so it costs me $160 bucks just for the initial visit. I do it anyway, cuz I love my kitties and the boys are freaking just a little and the cat is making a mess of my house. After several tests, the vet determines that Pirate has a laceration on the inside of his nose (probably from rough-housing with his brother). They close it up with surgical glue and I'm on my way $172 poorer. And this took up my entire afternoon I was supposed to be getting the house ready for Easter company. Oh, well.

Oh, and in the middle of trying to figure out what is wrong with the cat, I discover that the lovely cyclamen plant MIL has purchased to welcome us home is poisonous to cats. And it goes without saying that the kitties have been chewing on the leaves. The plant went to the neighbors.

Oh dear, Poor Pirate, glad that the plant gone now!!

Lisa we were gone 12 days....I was ready to come home on day 2 (mostly due to the drama). The girls actually did great. We did talk to them every other day and IM'd with them periodically....but they were having so much fun with my mom, we missed them more than they missed us!

Cannot win, y missed them and they had a great fun with gran!!

Here are some other pics from our trip....I spared you all the pics of the eels that were in the water (nope didn't step foot into the ocean this trip due to those guys), the tarantula that was walking on the road outside our villa and the iguana hanging out in the pool area.....

our villa...we had the top floor which has 2 bedrooms, a pool, media room, kitchen and living area. There are 2 other floors...one has 2 master suites and the bottom has 4 single rooms. We had the whole place.

crazy but true....the police walking the beach one evening with their huge semi automatic guns.

our last day there, we came across these cars (I think they were smart cars)...they were trojan cars and they were walking the beach giving out free condoms. the cars were hysterical!

and Scott and I the only night we actually wore something other than shorts and bathing suits!

Oh beautiful photos and you both look good with tan too.

OK, I'm up, showered and leaving the house. I'm off to weigh-in for the WW staff spring challenge. I have not had either coffee or breakfast yet, hence the reason why I am weighing in first thing in the morning!

I'm up so early because I also have the Smart Car test drive at 9:15 AM later today, a bit north of me (in Lincolnwood for those of you who know Chicago).

Back home now. Wow, you all must be a bunch of snoozy bunnies. No activity since I left and came back.

I was very surprised when I went outside, it's snowing again! I didn't think it was supposed to snow today.

The streets were completely empty during my drive to WW. No wonder either, it was 5:45 AM and it was snowing.

No weight loss this week. i stayed the same. I have to remind myself that I followed the same pattern when I was losing the original 89 pounds. Big loss. Little loss. Nothing/small gain. Big loss again.

I think you listed all of the spots except for the Outlook. I think both Signals and the Outlook, and Cove Cafe an they all close fairly early.

To be honest, I have never been to any of the spots on the ship except for Cove Cafe for coffee, so I;m really looking forward to a "night out on the town." Plus, it is a sea day the next day, whcih is perfect.

And Sessions. Very nice, quiet piano bar. Maybe you will want to start there ---before you have too many shots and are having too much fun!

I have the World Blackberry and I am hoping I can use it while away...this sounds very good for me...

I am bringing my laptop with me....you know my laptop would not work at the BOARDWALK this week. I was told there were so many people in Disney that the system could not handle all the people trying to connect....CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??

Not that much snow really. More of a dusting this morning I would say. Not sure how much we're supposed to get today. I thought it was supposed to be over yesterday. It is supposed to go up to 37 today, so it will be warming up a bit.

Yesterday we got about 4 inches in the city, judging from what I was shoveling.

The weird thing this morning is that there was snow on the streets. The city plows had not even been out yet salting. It makes me wonder if this morning caught them by surprise. The streets are ALWAYS plowed and salted immediately here in Chicago. (One Mayor got booted out of office because the snow was not removed fast enough. Two things rally Chicago voters, snow and trash!). The mayor, Richard the II, has always been diligent about snow removal.

OK....I'm watching Dateline on NBC, a story about a murder. They talked about this accused murder and talked about the warning signs of his insanity and I thought I'd share one. I wasn't paying much attention until they mentioned "excessive listmaking"....supposedly a sign of a fragile mind ready to shatter under pressure. BEWARE all those excessive listmakers among us!

In that case....we're all in trouble (and so are those around us)

Oh WOW! The Swedish Bakery! That is not far from me. If I were ambitious I could walk to it (I'm about a block from Wilson and Lincoln, 1/2 block east of the Davis movie theater).

I LOVE the Swedish Bakery and it is MOBBED on Saturday mornings! They have fantastic stuff there!

It's been years since I've been there on a Sat. We would call in an order on Friday and just pick up on Sat.

Now I order on line and have it shipped. We couldn't get throught the holidays without the Limpa and toast.

tomorrow is the Easter Parade in Campbell, our scout troop is walking and tossing little carrot bags (instead of candy) and I'll have a little box with me that looks like juice...wait til I show my co-leader Just kidding no drinking in GS...I know the rules.

Just tell them you are going to "check the weather."

For those of you who weren't a GS. "Check the weather" was the phrase that adults used when they went off for a smoke. You weren't allowed to smoke in front of the girls.
