And just what is Mrs. Bennett doing to help with this ??? (butter?? thrashing??? packing lists???) It's time she did her part for this cruise even if she isn't getting to go....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Doug

Mrs Bennett dutifully tells about every 20 minutes me how many days are left until we leave (she's also currently giving me the a Shakespearian insult, from her Shakespearian insult generator).

V, we went with DU and had no choice about getting GTY. I wouldn't choose it, why would I?

I really don't know why some who were with DU got assigned rooms and some didn't, but I feel miffed about it.

I went though DU and I got a room #....but to tell the truth if I were GTY I really wouldn't mind.....as long as I get to the ship in one piece and can sail for 15 days, I will be happy!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Could do with castles moving places though as someone pointed out before.

I want this one ... what do I need to do??? These are all so cute!! I am so enjoying looking at them all.

I'm very, very, very lucky to have a low house payment and no car payment (I paid in full at time of purchase). That makes a huge difference. :thumbsup2 That helped make a nice savings account to have for unexpected events (which occurred & sucked that all up......good thing it was there though).

But I'm right there with you Steph, I definitely wouldn't move away from sun and into the snow.....YUCKY! Definitely not loving winters.

OMG..paid in full at time of purchase. I wish! I have a small house here I purchased a long time ago...and luckily it's increased in value, but I would never been able to pay in full. I doubt even if I lived in your neck of the woods I would have been able to pay outright. No wonder it's ok to have a lower income comparitively. My sis and her husband moved to texas, paid for their house in full from the sale of their house here and still make MORE than they made in california...they are living the life...Thats what I'd want to do, if I wanted to leave cali...but I am born and raised here...can't leave too attached.:thumbsup2

read it again, Holly paid for her car in full, not her house.

I have had only three tickets in the 30+ years I have driven. the last one is a story though, I was coming home from an overtime stint at around 5:AM in late April a few years back in my then brand new Pontiac Grand Am SE and with the windows down for the first time all winter and the tunes CRANKED well I topped a hill, and there he was . The officer just turned on the lights he never even moved his cruiser. I pulled up right in front of him and stopped. when he walked up to my car, the age old question, "do you know how fast you were going". Well I realy did not so I said "no officer, its a new car and I was tooling to the tunes, I guess I was stinging it a bit" "I clocked you on radar at 105" OMG he came back to the car and gave me a ticket for "not obeying traffic signs" other wise they would have pulled my license right then and there. :worship: :worship: :cool1: :cool1:

OMG you were so lucky.....I don't feel so bad about my ticket for 6+ over

Thanks everybody for keeping me sane last night. I stayed at the hospital till 3:30am while my DH slept at home. He got up and we switched at 3:30am. I came home and slept.

I would have kept reading but my eyes started burning and that blackberry screen gets really little.

The hospital is the largest tramua center in the DC area. I was there from 8pm till 3:30am and I counted 12 helicopters landing with trauma patients. Right next to Frank was a police office (female) keeping a prisoner under control and he gave her a really hard time. She was TOUGH!! I laughed and said to her..."Boy, are you going to be a great mom!" She did not take any crap at all from that guy. She had a taser pointed at him all the time. It was a little scary.

The was a girl that came in in labor...she was about 16 years old and she was screaming her lungs out. I felt so sorry for her. They kept asking her if her water had broken and all she could say was there is so much blood...of course the wisked her off. All I could think of if she could have seen this night 9 months ago.......oh well.

Frank is okay....right now......I am starting to think he will never get better.
Lisa, what a night you had! Glad to hear Frank is doing OK. Please keep us updated. :grouphug:

Oh, I didn't pay my house in full, just my car. Very cool that your sis & her husband paid for their house in full though! How cool that would be!

Yay!!! I think we're getting one of those checks too, but I'm not sure when ours will get mailed out or how much we're getting. We still haven't gotten our tax refund, though according to DH it's supposed to get mailed out at the end of this week :)

QUOTE]

The IRS website will tell you when your $$ will be either deposited or mailed. Ours will be direct deposited on MAY 9!!:yay: Now how could the IRS get their timing so perfect? :thumbsup2

wow that is pretty cool. I am doing our taxes this weekend....hopefully...as long as there are no more emergencies.....I am starting to HATE emergencies

I have a question. Can you go to the movies anytime or is it like once a day or what?

They have several each day and night. You have to check outside the theater or the navigator to see when the movie you want to see is showing. I wanted to see a couple in Dec, but the times conflicted with other things I wanted to do. I'm not a real movie person though so I did not mind. Dennis and our DSIL did see Pirates late one night while we were sailing thru a tropical storm. The said the tossing of the Magic really added to the effects. I was alseep. :)

Darrell wouldn't forget pants - he would just think the pair he was wearing would be all he needed for a week or so :rotfl2:

I thought that might be it, but then he said we better run over to WM and grab a couple of pairs of jeans. :sad2:

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter! I am going to catch up now, so I hope all is well.

Kim
