Oh yeah, no crack of dawn flight! Hmmmm, perhaps you should just stay with me the night before and I'll drop you at the airport since I have to work that day. Let's discuss......

.

That would be great! I'll be calling you...heading down to the valley tomorrow for several days.

Hope you feel better!

Yes it is, and yes they do. But, Steve's boys are adults. :thumbsup2

I must have missed that....I thought Steve had little ones, Tyler's age??!!

Yes, the "boys" are actually young men 23 & 21 but developmentally their skill range is 4-12 for the big guy and 8-15 for the younger one. Hence the reason I try to get them into the oceaneer club so I can get a break. I have trained the men well so they are fairly well behaved. The best part is that now that they both are over 21, so they can each bring back a bottle of spirits for me!:rotfl:

I didn't realize that he did that sketch! :goodvibes I have a frame for it, but haven't put it together yet.

I have the Gibralter Litho too and it was very nice to have Ducky sign it!

When I boarded the ship on my first Disney cruise, they WERE handing out free drinks! I was really impressed! Then later we heard it was because there were some bigwigs onboard--it was the first time DCL was stopping in San Juan. It was also (I think) the first cruise for Pirates night.

For the EB TransAtlantic they announced us and I was greeted with a drink too! WOO HOO free booze!

I'm working on the graphics for the whiteboards. I think I will do a pirate theme. Wasn't there a logo that someone did for this cruise? I seem to remember voiting on that. That was a long time ago, so maybe I'm mistaken.

Oh yea..who's doing the coke points. I have a bunch of codes and I can't remember who to pm them.

We are up to 6,000 Coke Reward points. Thanks to all who have sent codes to me and if anyone has them...I will put them to good use!!

Well I did say, that I bought the tux now. My preference had been to wait until April but apparently that would have been a bad move, because prom season starts to eat up all the tuxes on the used market. Apparently tails are extremely popular.

Maybe after the cruise is over, I'll see if I can start crashing proms. I'm sure I could pass for 17.

You look pretty young in your avatar...

:lmao:

LOL!

Anyone read about the popsicles?

Woody

Yes, I read almost the whole thread. It was like a train wreck...I couldn't keep my eyes off of it. Human behavior is really something! A lot of it took me back to my teaching days and dealing with PARENTS who were outraged when I wouldn't let their kids have a reward that they hadn't done the work to earn. :confused3 More than once I was accused of hating children...

I am so boring...no shopping, no packing, no checklist. I will wear whatever I have here and pack one day ahead of time. That gives me a day to throw in things that I had forgotten to pack. I don't stress too much about packing. Of course I don't have kids to pack for so that makes it a lot easier. And I make DH pack his own. We have never forgotten anything important and I figure if we do forget something we can always purchase what we need.:goodvibes

Donna

This is me exactly.....I buy nothing new....I pack the night before we leave...I don't care how my kids look, that is their business, and I always make sure I have 3 things with me.....credit cards, passports and medicines. Those 3 things I can not buy.

I'm sorry, but I'm really having a hard time understanding this process. Noel was going to be the keeper of the master list and then phone the deck monitors with changes to keep everyone current. I know you'll have the mini navigator with as current info as possible. But what happens when my stateroom starts flooding on day 3 and I get moved somewhere else. Who do I contact to let them know so that when the fish teams are giving out gifts I don't get missed. Don't we need a keeper of the master list that everyone with a room change can contact. If so, Susie/luv2cruzsus has already volunteered to do this job.

In this case you will go to your floor monitor and advise them of the change (if you move to a new floor, advise that monitor too). This way, no ONE person has to moniitor everything once we are on the ship. Having your door magnets and moving them will help too,.

Was that a 2004 "Special Itineraries" cruise?

Woody

Yes, I believe so. But we were so in the dark about DCL we didn't know it until right before we went. I just discovered the DIS a few weeks before we left...

We were disappointed. None of us cared about seeing Puerto Rico. I was really looking forward to St. Maarten. On the other hand, on that cruise I had a broken foot and was either on crutches or in a wheelchair so my sightseeing was slightly curtailed! AND, my sister had a broken foot, too! We broke them about a month apart! We were quite the sight!

I guess me and everyone else will have to check all the boards on every floor on a daily basis. This way I'll know who is where so that I can give out fish gifts and get fish gifts. If you say this works and you have done it before, I'm all for it. I'll just check all the boards. Thanks.

You're going to give gifts EVERY DAY???????

.

Are they still serving breakfast at Topsiders docking morning in CA? I looked at my old navigators and didn't see any mention of it. We have always gone down to breakfast in the dining room. I noticed that the breakfast times on my navigator from last Feb range from 6:30 am to 7:00 am for the first seating and 7:45 to 8:15 for the second seating.

So a consideration for arranging shuttles might be when/if people are eating breakfast.

We are early seating and staying at the GC. I still haven't decided how the two of us are going to get DL. But we only have a day and a half to do DL and have never done it before, so I want to get there as quick as I can!

Imagine being in Captain Tom's shoes!

For what it's worth, when I did the West coast cruise back in '05 we were off the ship before 10 a.m. Actually, I was off sooner, because they had two lines, one for passports and one w/out passports. I was in the passport line, which was way shorter but my sis and her son were in the other so I had to wait for them.

We you early dining or late?
