Our flight got pushed back more! Not arriving now until 10:48pm on the 9th! Wow that is late. We will be some tired but happy folks on the morning of the 10th!
Lisa

Our flights times got bumped up - we leave 45 minutes earlier and get into MCO now 20 minutes earlier. It was good they changed times as it allowed us to cancel the flights and rebook for $42 less each!! (We get in on the 8th at 10:25pm).

I am sending Frank over to Don's brother and his wife (who do not like Frank)
I am sending my mom to my brothers (who love my mom and have beem begging her to come....she does not know yet..she finds out tomorrow and she is going oto pitch a fit)

Vanessa's sister is coming from Norway and I am taking my 2 daughters and Vanessa and she sister to WDW for a few days during spring break.

I hope it is fun.....then only a few weeks till our cruise.!!
Lisa
If your mom pitches a fit, it's OK because you'll be in WDW and won't have to deal with it. You're going to have a great time with the girls on your trip and it will definitely rejunevate you! :cloud9:

Hmmm.......well, at least it's warmer there, so that would be a good tradeoff! ;)

But seriously, we're only about 1/2 way towards where I'd like the house to look. I honestly let things slide for months and am finally motivated to just do it. It's amazing how many boxes of crap have gone away today and you wouldn't even know it by looking around. Sad, but we're making progress!

Heck I'm hoping we move - it's easier just to pack it all up and start trying to organize somewhere else :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hello everyone. I have been busy so now I'm trying to catch up. So far it sounds like most people are doing well besides the snow. I have been shopping a lot and still haven't found everything. The only person I seem to find anything for is DD 5. She has more dresses than I can pack. That reminds me, I've been meaning to ask, do the girls wear princess costumes to dinner on formal night? She won't let me buy a formal. She keeps saying she wants to wear a Giselle costume. I have heard people say their kids wear costumes but I didn't know if they just wore them in the kids club. Well back to :surfweb:

By all means! A Princess on formal night is perfect!

Ok to get over my sort of doom and gloom of last week (which is about 1/2 gone... sort of..

I went and bought myself another pair of crocs!!!

I got the Malindi in Cotton Candy!!!

So if anyone else on the cruise has the same in a size 10... :lovestruc :lovestruc I guess we'll have to do the old name on the bottom of the shoe thing my mother used to do in grammar school...:rotfl:

The Queen Mum.... (my mom...)

Has gleefully recinded her past request that her subjects please be quiet durring the Kentucky Derby...

She has since realized that the date of said horse race is the week before...

So she will have to stay home, wear her hat and get sloshed all by herself!!! (ok... maybe I'll help!!!)

Thank you ....

Michelle
Queen of the East princess:

You should get a roll of identical stickers for everyone to wear and a little sign - you'll look just like a DCL tour! :rotfl2:
Oooooh, and they should be stickers with the "Resistance is Futile" green Mickey ears! :rotfl:

Sorry not the best picture, too much sun :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was trying to read and catch up. I fell asleepwhile reading. The warm laptop on my lap.....lulls me to sleep. :lmao: :lmao:

Frank was very sick today and the doctor decided to send him back to the hospital. Don has him in the emergency room. They are thinking he may be in liver failure.

OMG :scared1: The field I used to ride my horse in is now a GOLF COURSE!! I really gotta pop back down there next time I visit Chicago. Which reminds me....40th year High School reunion would be this year....why haven't they contacted me?????

.

Check out Classmates.com--we posted info for our reunion there.

I love to do that too!!! Just me and the snow plow... and me running from the snow plow...:rolleyes1
:rotfl: That reminded me of a scene from my childhood! My best friend and I used to stand on the side of the road and wait with excitement when we saw the snowplow coming, just to see if the snow it threw would knock us over!

Oh no Lisa, I'm so sorry about Frank's turn for the worse. :sad1: Will be sending up prayers for him and your family. :grouphug:

My father was Air Force but he was stationed with the Flying Tigers in China.

I mentioned this before (probably thread one). My sister adopted a baby from China. The last day in the adoption region we were taking a bus tour of the area and the facilitator mentioned that just up the way was the General Stillwell and Flying Tiger museum. Knowing my father has attached to the unit we were very disapointed that we missed the opportunity to learn more about his service time. Three years late we were back for her second daughter and were assigned out of the same general area. We had the same facilitor and we asked if we could go to the museum. She took us and my sister was about half a room ahead of me and I stopped and just stood at this one picture. She walked back to me and just said "which one" and I pointed and she just nodded. It was a picture of my father - the exact same pose as the only picture that was ever hanging in my parents house. My father passed away ten years earlier.

That was three years ago this weekend. I still tear up thinking about that moment.
I vividly remember you posting that story because it gave me the chills. Very touching and I'm so glad you posted it again for all the folks who joined us later.
