Well guys ... I am off to a 4hour Meeting in a few minutes

I am currently working p/t as a Business Consultant and helping a business owner sell his two franchises. It is really an "act of mercy" as this process is not fun and truly exhausting ... and most of my time is spent/needed homeschooling my family and the typical "daily duties" .. ya know .. laundry, grocery shopping, DIS

When all is said and done, they have told me they will give me a bonus of 5% selling value. I hope this happens (it could mean $5-$7K). That's another cruise for us!!

Anyways, I already have a pounding headache, and am not looking forward to a 4hour meeting of nonsense (usually about 15min of actual progress). UGH!!

The only good news is that it is in Anaheim, being close to the mouse makes me smile!!

I just checked my ressie (my daily "random check" ... like I think it might disappear or something ... does anyone else do this??)

and found that we have been switched to late dining

Hope this means that we also have received our requested server and rotation.

Good morning all, Well, we've had several days of nice weather so I've been out in the garden every day for an hour or so and am so out of shape that I'm actually sore in all kinds of weird muscles. But we are getting oranges, rose buds are starting to form, strawberries, oregano.... it's all starting to pop. Unfortunately it looks like several of my flowers will be up while we are gone on the trip.


What are the English classes you are taking?

Just prastice about writing and I am terrible with writing with past!!

I am going to be anal about packing for this trip simply because the last year in all the trips we've been on I have forgotten something.....I've had to pay outrageous amounts for, bathing suits, sunscreen, batteries, sneakers, change of clothes in the park, etc. So I am making list upon list! I want to bring a little ziplock of various medicines as well!

Our are cumulative. But they don't kick in with anything other than a patch until you reach 75 boxes.

So far I think our council is the only one I have seen that is NOT cumulative! We have the backpack, beach towel and light like you guys do but at different box levels.

I take quite a few medicines as they are not something you can pick up easily, particularly this time in the middle of the ocean!!

While frustrating that means you are able to talk to all of us here in the states! And we think your English is great. Now we need to practice our sign language!!!!

I HATE, HATE, HATE buying things "on the road" we never really get what we want when its needed. Plus I'm the cheapest person on the planet!

Ok, no problem, but you better give me a detailed description of what this would entail. I don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room (it is an inside stateroom and I just bought a new camera today to use on the cruise!).

It shouldn't require any effort on your part. You might get a phone call (or a message) asking you to post something on the board. Also you might want to erase outdated messages. You can do that with a damp kleenex. There will be markers attached to the boards so anyone can come by and update them.

Hi to all those Smartie lovers out there

As I understand it, the lovely smarties you can buy in the UK and Australia aren't available in the US - is that right?

If so, and anyone wants some, we can get them here in Australia in 410g (about 14oz) large bags!!! I can bring some for anyone that wants them - just PM me and let me know what you want!!

Leanne, I have been known to ship out boxes of these bags to my American friends, they say the UK/Aus/Can version tastes better.


Ian, we call those sugar smarties, "rockets" up here and they only show in October for TandT giving. We do have sweettarts avaliable in rolls up here, anything like sugar smarties? The same company does a roll of candy called Shockers, those are fun, I love a little sour with my sweet.

the sugar smarties, they sell year round here. Pretty cheap as well, so most goodie bags the girls bring home have them in.
The girls had pictures yesterday and today...this was the first time I said, no thanks. I did get Samantha in her cap and gown one...but that's it. They are usually over $100 and I can go to Sears for just as good a job - or better with my new camera!! They called me at work to make sure....my their hair didn't look to great and I am not sure their clothes would have coordinated.

Sorry, I was still in the mind frame of LA docking, crazy Pj.......but I will leave it here just incase V is wondering, lol.

V, we are early breakfast, if the luggage is prompt, we should be on the road by 9:30am at the latest, at DLR by 10:30, checked in by 11:15 and in a park by 12 noon. They can bring the bags up later, I want to be in a park by noon. And you are with me that day, so you can just say you have to go wherever I go when I go, .

Deb, I think they do a 2:30 or 3pm show for the cruise tours. At least I think I read that here on the thread somewhere way back when, and maybe on Cruise Critic as well. Any hey, you are with me, so just tell them you have to go where I go when I go.

Well, I'm bummed and excited today. DH found out yesterday that he has to go work at WDW yet again next week. I hate being alone.

hey I got a vacuum once for my bday! I think it is a great gift! Then again thats coming from odd me. What kind are you getting?

I explained to my DH very early in our marriage that household items are NOT gifts. And that if I ever received such a 'gift' it would result in a visit to A&E (the Emergency Room) for it to be removed from a certain part of his anatomy!
