you guys have been spoiled....this is the policy at WDW for quite a while now!

nope, I think we just got screwed like you at WDW. It's not normal to prepay unless a good discount is involved for a hotel in the US.

With all this talk of 10 Forward (Gee I wonder if we'll meet Whoopi?) and the mean and pushy people that can occur there, it got me to thinking.

There are an awful lot of us as a "group". We could "intimidate" a few others quite easily. If we all organize ourselves, I'm sure we could all be quite accomodating for each other quite easily.

"Ok kids in the front and arrnged from shortest to tallest." I'm 6' and I don't mind standing behind someone shorter, but usually my concern is watching out for my kids - they are both quite shy and won't stand up for themselves and will not speak up when someone invades their space or pushes them out of the way. So that is why I usually try and make myself bigger than normal.

But if we were to get together and put some sort of organization in place .... well we could control 10 Forward! LOL ;)

that's a nice thought Ken. I'm short 5'2" and the kids of course are short...

Anyone have any idea what night will be grown-ups night at the Oceaneer Lab? I know they had one on the last cruise. I know that's one activity I'll do for sure.

.

& if it's the same night as your plans... we'll just make the lab one of the stops on the tour!!!

I kinda get from looking at a couple of the pictures, that it might have happened in the middle of the night when everyone else might have been in bed sleeping? :confused3

That's not to say that they didn't run into one of the ship's officers between deck 10 and deck 7 though, but you would have to ask someone who is in the picture. Now, to find that person...................:scared1:

So I guess it pays to stay up all night???

what main board are you talking about?

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1755441

Thanks, and that screamed MARCH 30th to me

It's not the 29th????

we're only 300 here and we have a 300' state room, should be ok,don't cha think?????:rolleyes1

ok, lifeboaters and invited guests only, Gydell made me see the light :rotfl2:

Um... about 370.....but who's counting???? ;)

I am not sure if its the first set of locks but my DH was telling me that one of the locks we are within a matter of inches getting into the lock. I will be happy to share out balcony. We are going to make a sign and hang it over our railing when we are going through the canal. We still haven't completely decided what to say on it.

That is a great idea!!! I think we will too, english and spanish

How about "THANKS FOR THE LIFT ! :thumbsup2 "

Doug

what was the post number from the original post with all the groovy information on it? my dh wants the post number to find it pretty please

it was an email invite only survey. If you want to join shots around the world Ian will email you the survey. Look on Ian's mousemanager site to reach him thru the contact link. NOT PMs.

We are doing both languages too! DH was born and raised in Mexico so he is fluent.

cool, my kids are bi-lingual. If he would be so inclined I'd love him to speak spanish with my kids...they don't get to use it much when on vacation. :goodvibes

Another thought..."LOW ON PIXIE DUST, NEED A LIFT..":confused3

We are probably going to do a one way car rental back from Heathrow. Not good after that long flight but cheap.

That's what we're planning to do to get to Manchester.

But be aware, what sometimes looks like cheap price isn't the full story. Most companies sneak in a one-way drop off charge of about £30, but it doesn't show up in the price quoted. It's hidden in the FAQs or T&Cs.

Sounds good maybe we meet for a snack or something and we all only speak spanish. DD is 5 1/2 and has the basics down. I think she would really do well when others her age speak spanish as well. What happened with the Mexican Mouse Ears/Mouseketers? Their dis name escapes me but i thought they were joining us on this trip. Does anyone know?

Don't we gain time on this cruise? (i.e. we keep setting the clocks back not ahead.)

That is the good kind of time change :thumbsup2

Yes and no. Good for during the vacation, but bad when you end up with an 8 hour time difference when you get home, like we will!
