Well you could come but that would be a mighty long "weekend" for you! Fly here, stay for an hour and get back on the plane!

:lmao: Who knows?!

I know. I hope there are people talking over there. My friend is going on a 7 day Mexican Riviera and no one ever posts on her thread.

It looks a quiet thread. I suppose this was special wasn't it and therefore much to chat about.

I guess that's what it was. I figured it was because there were a lot people that have cruised before. Most people don't pick a two week cruise for their first one.

Hey V...

George broke up with Sarah...
:thumbsup2

And perhaps inlcude Northern California in that trip???

Miss you guys!!

Wanted to let you and all the other DISers know that we are closing down our Wine Shop this weekend... for good.:sad2: We will more than likely still be selling wine on our website, unless we can sell it all this weekend.

We want to thank you and John and our other DIS friends for your support. We just couldn't survive the economy, bad landlord, and other issues.

We hope to see you all soon!!

We are booked for Tortola in June of 2009. Can't do September as Alex will be starting High School:scared1: (Just shoot me now...)

Hope you enjoy Vegas!!! Wish we were there with you!

Karen, Ted and Alex
I am so sorry about your shop - your pics of it were gorgeous! Hope something better comes along for you.

Hey all..
I have a friend on the eastbound PC and they want to know from anyone who DID the Cliffdivers on their own...whats the name of the restaurant you ate at and how much did the taxi cost? PM me or post here.

Thanks
S
La Perla - very easy to do on your own.

well, I stayed home today - the girls would absolutely not get up. What a nightmare. Samantha's graduation is tomorrow. I hope we make it. Ok, it's a moving on party - i can't help but think now starts life - homework, responsibility, etc. Ah, to stay little forever.

I really miss being on the cruise.

I have to give Brooke a shower. She is still not feeling well. Her throat is so swollen that you can barely understand her when she speaks.

Hi Nan. How are you feeling? It was funny about the ballroom night as we spent so long discussing it and what might happen, and it was just a damp squib!

Hi Marilyn, I'm not so great today, seems now I've got a bit of blood in my cough. I think I'm not drinking enough, so I better up my intake of fluids today.

Yes, that ballroom was a bust. I was hoping for some dancing with my DH that night, but alas.

Sorry to hear that many of you are sad. When I find myself feeling wistful, I look at pictures to cheer me up. Good Memories and more fun times ahead.:moped:

You're right, it gets harder from here. I always thought it would be better when they got older. It is just a different type of responsibility. I miss being on the cruise too. I had to do homework there too but it was more fun!

Now that sounds like the perfect reason for a party or BBQ:banana:

Did I just hear you say party at B&Vs on 6/16 for Gaylean's Bday???? SO FUN!!! I wish we could make it, but too many things on the calendar that weekend allready.

Poor kiddo, she has been hit hard by this. You may want to call the doctor and ask if a new antibotic is in order. The last time Wilson had strep it took a 2nd drug to kill it. What a bummer way for Brooke to spend her last few weeks at school. When are they out of school? Mine are done 6/13.

V: Good luck with BRAT. I've used it many times with myself and the kids and seems to do the trick.:thumbsup2

They are out on 6-11. She is miserable but she insists on going. This week she has had a field trip, performance at the assembly, girl scout meeting and today is the last share day. She loves school anyway but especially this week.

We are still in CA. We will spend a few more hours at DL today and then we will have to head home. The shuttle is picking us up at the hotel at 6 this evening. We are thinking we will just spend from noon to 5 at DL and see what shows we can see. We have not yet seen the Dapper Dans this trip and we love to listen to the music in New Orleans Square. We did finally get to ride on Lillie Belle yesterday. What a treat!

I've been on it since Tuesday, and have had some improvement, but not much. I have a call in to the my Dr. about getting a perscription, and since some of my test have come back negitive, she really doesn't know what to treat me for:confused:

A wise lady on the elevator on the ship told me to not be sad it is over, but rather happy that it happened. I thought that was a wonderful way to look at it. :thumbsup2

She is right. We should be happy we were all able to take this special trip and enjoy all the friendships that were made and renewed.

I have to go. Brooke has to be to school in 20 minutes and I haven't brushed her hair or lotioned her up :scared1:
