Hi Lisa,
I was the one that told Daniel about the single rider line for CA Screaming. Glad you guys had a good time! It's good to hear from you!
Kathe, good to hear from you, too. I've been reading everything but haven't posted much. I make replies in my head to almost every post, but haven't had the energy (mental, as well as physical) to write a lot.
I've been very foggy all day. I've thought many times of your folks that had to go back to work today--you definitely have my condolences! I've definitely had the "re-entry to real life" hangover today.
My cold has moved into the "I need a stick of dynamite for my nose!" stage--I'm really congested, but feel that means that I'm progressing through the stages to eventually be all well. I really think if it hadn't been for the antibiotics I brought with me and started taking several days ago, that I'd be MUCH sicker.
Woody posted awhile back about waking up and think you were in your stateroom. That happened to me during the night on Sunday. I was sleeping at my sister's so still not at home. I was pretty disoriented.
Then it happened again last night in my own bed. I wonder how long it'll take for me to realize I'm home?
I've really been enjoying everyone's pictures! I've also been reading the trip reports that have been posted so far. It looks like there were lots of good times going on that I missed out on!
Ian, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I didn't know about it until I read it here. Are you guys going to get another wearing out of your tuxes, tails and top hats? I can't wait for the pictures!
I realized when I got home that I'd left my iPod in the rental car in Phoenix. This was not a false alarm like the sunglasses--I thought I'd left my sunglasses in my rental car at Cocoa Beach, but they finally turned up. Anyway, I called Jackie and she went by the rental place. It was already closed, but she looked inside our vehicle and saw the iPod bag on the floor of the car. I'm happy to report that my sister's nanny picked it up for me today so it's safe and sound!
This was the trip of losing things! I thought I'd lost my annual pass at Goofy's Kitchen on Sunday. I looked through my wallet 3 or 4 times and couldn't find it, even though I'd JUST used it when we paid for the buffet so we could get the passholder's discount. It was only after reporting it missing and then taking EVERYTHING out of my purse and looking on more time that I found it--right where I thought it should have been! Oy--this memory thing is really a drag!
I had to laugh when I read Gayleen's post about going to Costco and buying all that fruit. I bought a bunch of fruit today, too, but it's won't be like the ship.
As far as weight gain--I'd bought a scale right before the trip so weighed myself before leaving home on the 7th. When I got home last night, I stepped on it and it read...127 pounds! In my dreams! I got off and got back on and this time it read...345 pounds! To make a long story short, I ended up taking it back to Costco today and getting another one. According to this one, I gained less than a pound! I can't believe it! I guess taking the stairs and walking from one end of the ship to the other several times a day paid off! But I ate so much, or at least it seemed like I did. But for the most part it wasn't junk (well, except for the desserts!). Someone else mentioned craving sugar--I was really craving sugar Sunday and Monday. Today was much better.
I MISS EVERYONE!

It was so much fun to be surrounded by friends! Hope everyone is doing well and adjusting to reality as well as can be expected!
