I got my delayed bag delivered to me....at 325 AM this morning!!! I was not a happy camper at that time!

Figured I'd put in my weight gain too.....2 lbs. Makes me think that if I'd been able to do the stairs as I wanted to I wouldn't have gained anything!

Kathe---I was telling Will about the 7 nt booked for 09 and told him that I didn't think I'd be able to do that short of a cruise now (hahaha). He told me to book a back to back.....so you never know...I may be on both of those w/ you!

Monica,
3:25 AM :scared1: I would not have been a happy camper either! You're lucky you only gained 2 lbs, but not so lucky because I know you didn't feel your best for a few days. Are you feeling better now?

Will is very wise, I think you should follow his advice ;) Yes, do it! Do it! I think a back to back in Sept 09 is just what you need to look forward to! I booked it thinking, well, maybe I'd go...but I already know I PLAN on going!

Kathe

Great pics everyone! Gaylean your adorable one of the kids reminded me I didn't get any of my kids in a porthole :( Guess I just have to go back for that one!

Kathy....how great that you have booked a back to back!!!!!

I am still downloading pics, which should take another few hours and then hope to share 1 or 2. So, probably sometime tomorrow.

Nan...welcome home!!!! Sorry to hear you are all sick (well glad to hear molly is healthy!)...hope you get some rest so you can all recover.

Taylor was watching tv today...Samantha Brown did something on the freedom of the seas...and she thought it looked like so much more fun than the Magic...what is wrong with her?! :lmao: Oh and there is some new on demand disney travel channel....anyone hear of it yet? We don't get on demand stuff so I have no idea. We are still in the dark ages without Tivo!

Off to watch an episode or 2 of LOST on ABC.com.....keep sharing pics everyone!

We have a lot of pictures in that port hole because Brooke would hop in it every time we passed it! I thought that was so cool to see the Acapulco sign out the window. The funny thing is that we called my sis and Jon told my DBIL that we could see Acapulco out the window so they should come and take a picture. They said OK and thought we were weird. He thought we were saying that we could see the city out the window so he wondered why that window was any different than the other windows on the ship. :rotfl:

Arrived home tonight around 10pm. It is so nice to be here. Although I miss the magic already!

Disneyland was fun, we saw alot of the cruise peeps in the parks. I missed our fantasmic as taylor has picked up the cruise crud that is going around. I am glad to hear the I am not the only one who was sick at the end of the cruise. And...just a plug to mexican pharmacies...they rock. Picked up a Z-pack and it totally worked for me.

Taylor and I had such a wonderful time with all of you who post and those of you who lurk...and you know who you are cause I met all of you and you all told me you lurked! :rotfl:

I look forward to Japan in 2010:thumbsup2 pipedream of mine, but there it is...

Oh and for those DVC westcoasters (and others too) I went to the DVC Travel Expo at Disneyland on Sunday and you could go to look at the "model" of Grand Cal. DVC and it's BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait for it to open at DL.
They were offering some awesome deals (some including a night at the mickey penthouse in DL). It was very informative and they gave away a ton of free stuff...digital cameras, gift cards, pins etc.

I will be adding pics to my blog tomorrow. My homework for the day. Welcome Home to everyone and thanks for making our vacation so great!

Steph

OK the real info we want to know is how many Tivo hours you had :lmao:

Kaylee, Scott and Lisa
Thanks for putting up with this old 50 yr old for the Outdoor Adventure :scared1: This was one of the highlights of this cruise for me. I was so elated to have survived this day  :woohoo: I'm still pumped about it! I would love to zip-line again, but just can't ever see me rappelling EVER again!
Kathe

More pictures of YOU later. Time to go to In and Out for some real California food! What was up with that menu??!!! The worst of the trip!!! And people probably have brought roomservice to the bar before, but a tray so full that it took two people to carry???:lmao: :rotfl2:

OMG the california menu sucked! :confused3

Where did they find that menu? We go from Northern CA to Southern and a few in the middle. Really where did it come from?

One of our missing bags arrived last night at about 11:30 PM. So now, we're only missing 1 of the 4 bags.

This is going to be the longest it has ever taken us to unpack.

Back to work today. It was really rough getting up and I'm still half asleep. Plus, my work pants are shall we say, a little snug at the waist.

Sukie and I are back to point tracking.

Last night we had a simple dinner, but when we were done, we looked at each other and said/asked, "No dessert!?"

I have been craving sugar for two days and this is not normal.

Hi all! Arrived home Sunday just before midnight. The long travel day wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.:thumbsup2 So sorry to hear that so many are sick. It is usually me who gets sick when I fly but I am just fine and not too tired. My body stayed on Eastern time so I had no trouble adjusting when I got home. Only gained two pounds which brought me up to the weight I am most comfortable with. I am one of those few lucky people who can eat like a pig and not easily gain weight.:woohoo: I also wasn't too wowed by the food this time. In 14 DCL cruises I have to say that I was least impressed by the food this time. I usually enjoy it much more.

DH was dreading returning to work. He would love to take a permanent vacation!

Wish I had gotten to meet more of you. Like others have mentioned, we kept running into the same people. (I miss nanatink and her DH already. We were constantly running into them on this cruise and our last one. What fun!)

To my dinner companions...I enjoyed dining with you all. I hope none of you think that I was not sociable. The dining rooms were so loud that I was having trouble hearing the person sitting right next to me. Or maybe it was one of those darn OG things.:confused3

Keep the pictures coming. They are great memories!

Donna

I'm glad you made it home safely. Were we the ones you kept running into :yay:

Oh no, nothing has changed. I'm still talking to myself. I guess I'll cook.

Now I also have to start to think about our wedding on June 19th!

WHAT?!! See what I miss by missing out on the adult events? CONGRATULATIONS! :cool1: Are you inviting a couple hundred DIS friends? .

Ian and Sukie- Congrats :cool1: I missed this news too! Okay, if we don't all get invited you know we at least will be expecting lots and lots of pics :thumbsup2

YAY!!!!! After searching for about an hour straight, I found Tyler's dolphin pics! Woohoo! The disk was in its envelope and it had slipped into the pages of one of Tyler's coloring books in our carryon. What a relief! :faint:

Holly, I'm so glad you found the disk, the pics are great :thumbsup2

Kathe,

Sukie told me to tell you he beat you ... he gained 15 pounds!

Me? I haven't even stepped on the scale yet!

Ian, tell Sukie if I'd known it was a contest I could have easily won! Probably would have too if it hadn't been for all that stair climbing and zip-lining I did ;)
Kathe

Did anyone ever find out if the private Villa was used in Cabo????

I thought you all might appreciate this photo:

Ian, tell Sukie I love this photo  BUT, personally, I would even choose rappelling over having a lizard on my shoulder

Kathe

We are at Long Beach Airport. I have never been in an airport so small! We were able to get a red eye back to Dulles direct. We get home at 5am! I will be so glad to get home! I miss everybody, but I also miss my pillow!

Lisa, how did you and Daniel make out at DL? How long did you end up spending there? Did you have fun? Did you keep warm? Hope you both managed to get in a few more hours of fun before heading home :) I bet the rest of your family was just as happy to have you both back home as you were to be there :goodvibes

Kathe....thanks for the hugs, but we didn't put up with anything, you were GREAT!!! I loved the whole thing, although even for me the rappelling was a bit much (and I used to love to rappel....I think it was that free fall rappel!) Thanks for hanging out with us! Can't wait to get those pics and really have a chance to look at them all....but remember girls...no posting to the boards unless mutually agreed upon, :goodvibes
