Yes, I love our lawn tractor also! It takes me 45 min to mow our yard with it also.

best things I ever bought were the bagger for the back and the utility cart....last year in 2 hrs ....I bagged and transported to the curb 27 full leaf bags (mulched of course)....If I had the old push lawn mower...I'd probably still be at it:rotfl:

That is fantastic news:cool1: :cool1:

Congrats...well deserved

Thanks!

Congrats for you. I hope you have a wonderful future there.

When we temporarly moved to southwest florida years ago it was one of those highlights of my life. I would still like to move back. The winters there spoiled me. The summers were warm but it seemed to rain nearly every day in the afternoons to cool things off a bit. I loved swiming in the ocean in Feb.:thumbsup2

We can't wait!

Lisa!!! That's fabulous!! Where are you moving to??? I'll definately have to give you my home info when we meet on the cruise!

Jacksonville - definitely!!!!

Very cool, congrats:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

YES

Thanks!

Hi Angie! Bet you are having a blast!

So Bruce, did you get your lawn cut yesterday? That is a big yard but at least you have the tractor. It only takes me about 45 mins. to an hour to cut ours so there is no need for a tractor. Once I do it a few more times I should be used to it again.:goodvibes

John is worried about the yard...he wants my mom to come over to give her lessons in watering??!! He is afraid the grapes will not make it.

Yup.....Liam enjoyed chasing me around the yard, helping me fill the leaf bags....or wear the mulch....and managed to find the only wet spot (read mud) in the whole yard with his new (cruise purchase) white running shoes...Nancy was not impressed....:rotfl:

It was a wonderful day...the weather was great...even the dentist was bearable:thumbsup2

Donna, we are. One more day at DL then to the Hilton at LAX for a flight out tomorrow! :woohoo: Just Dennis and I today, so we may spend a lot of time on Main Street sitting on the porch. We LOVE people watching from there.

Just a good morning drive by

I actually slept an extra half hour this morning, but just realized I wanted to be at work a little early to sit in on a conference call. Well, I guess I'll just have to JIP it. (that's TV talk...joined in progress)

Tonight is straighten up the house and shop and pack for Acoma :cat: She gets a new litter box and 30 cans of cat food to take to Peg's house. Good thing I have a PetSmart discount card!

See you later.........

I just use the bathroom scale. I weigh myself, then weigh myself holding the bag. It give me an approximation of what the suitcase weighs.

So far we only have one rolling duffel bag packed. It weighs 33.5 lbs.

I'm not sure my scale goes up that high :lmao: :lmao: Just kidding, that is a good idea and then I can check to see if my scale works. Thanks.

:confused3 I tried that but the combination of me and the bags exceeded the 290 lbs the scale allowed....oooopppppssss.....guess the bag needs to go on a diet....:rotfl:

Packing Report

So packing once was not enough of a challenge. I decided to pack twice.

I unpacked some tropical camp shirts to replace them with ones I got on Saturday.

This is really more feedback on Eagle Creek Folders (thank you Woody).

I packed shirts on Saturday, and unpacked them yesterday. The Folder had been tossed around quite a bit.

I have to say that the shirts that were packed were remarkably unwrinkled and looked great, considering how much the Folder had been tossed around. I'm really glad I bought some of them.

So, now I have packed all of my shirts a second time.

The only really remaining thing is to get everything else into suitcases. Most everything is sitting on the bedroom floor either in packing cubes or in zip lock bags.

Olny twice :scared1: I've down it way more than that :lmao:

Or you need to buy a bigger scale. I checked ours after you posted and it goes up to 350 :scared1:

I am bringing a set of binoculars too. I thought it might be handy for the balcony.

I mowed the yard yesterday and I was totally pooped after it. I am so old, fat and out of shape that it just about killed me. But my doctor, my gynecologist even, told me that I really needed to start getting some exercise and lose weight. She went on and on about it, in a nice way of course, but in the end she mentioned that I had two kids that depended on me totally and I need to think about them. I burst into tears!!! My heart is on my sleeve anyway. She felt really bad about it I think. She has also struggled with her weight her entire life and is a lifetime WW member so she has been where I am. All I could think was I will get to work on it, but after the cruise. LOL.

So after the cruise, I have to lose some weight!
   One thing at a time, that's all you can worry about right now.
