Wow, I never knew they were actually real. I always thought it was just a joke and you get the kit and nothing grows. I watched the youtube video on their website just now and was amazed. Those are creepy looking! Yuck!

I had sea monkeys when I was a kid. For those of us of a certain age, they were almost required.

I'm thinking about spa stuff. Anyone doing any spa stuff? I once had a massage and found it very relaxing. There's something about getting one on the ship that strikes me as somewhat creepy.

I'm also trying to figure out what we are going to do on Castaway Cay. Usually we just head for Serenity Bay and then back to the ship for lunch, since Sukie is not very happy with the vegetarian selections in they have in that part of the island.

We're thinking, of exploring the island a bit more this time.

Also, we've only been in late October and mid-December. It could sometimes be a little cool. I'm sure it will be much warmer this time around.

Just got my docs...and there was a paper saying we are now leaving Aruba at 6pm?

Why the change?

I am sure this was already covered...but...sorry...I cannot find it

OK, I'm about half way through but thought I'd post or have too many quotes!

Good morning all!
I am not sure what happened to me last night......

THIS is the BEST V-ism! :lmao: :lmao:

If we do laundry onboard, do we need quarters, or do the machines just charge our onboard accounts??

The machines take quarters. There is a change machine in each laundry room...but they do run out and you'd have to go to guest services for change then. So, you could pick some up at guest services during your daily running about, so you'd have them on hand when it was time to do laundry.

I might need a female friend to go see Enchanted with!! Don't think John will go. Could go on my own i suppose.

There will be PLENTY of us who would see it with you. I've only seen it once and would love to see it again. ::yes::

2 formal and 1 semi-formal. (there is no pounds to $$s conversion so math should be right this time.):rotfl:

Doug

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'll ask him then. Monica you can still come with us, we won't be snogging or embarassing you!!!!:rotfl:

Now there's a term I haven't heard in a looooong time!

And....I wonder how many of the G.I.T.s (geezers in training) know the UK meaning of that one!

Well, do I read the next 19 (probably 20 now) pages or take a nap?

.

You could hire a bike for an hour? If I could ride one that is what we would do.

Something to do with getting to the Panama Canal on time. I think we have a certain time allocated to begin transit.

My original res says 5pm...so I guess we were going to be too early?!?!

Oh well. I am not worried about another hour in the Caribbean!:cool1:

Well as long as it doesn't mean something completely different over there!!!!!

Take a nap!;)

Some people said they had 9.30pm down as sailaway and they were now having to rearrange their plans.

Now that I just looked....my 1st one said 9:30 then 5pm now 6 pm. Oh well...

Morning Jackie. How's Phoenix this morning?

Beautiful day here. I'm thinking of nixing the nap and having a late lunch on the patio.

I. We don't get into the Hyatt until I think 11pm. Straight to bed right away! Can anyone confirm that the porters at the Hyatt will go get your luggage from baggage claim? I read that somewhere.

I think the only place the kids will snorkel will be CC. And we will rent the stuff there, as opposed to lugging our stuff. Anyone doing the same?

!
Lisa

Yes, the porters will get your bags, but may I suggest, with your late arrival that you just pick them up yourselves. It's not like you have to take them very far, and that way when you get into your room you can really crash and not have to wait up for a porter to show up with your bags.

I'll be doing a CC snorkel too...just as a test to make sure I can do it in Aruba. If it doesn't go well, then I just be enjoying a nice boat ride and maybe a quick dip in the ocean in Aruba. :lmao:

I hadn't planned on reserving CC snorkel equipment, but I'm wondering if I should now....:confused3 Whadda y'all think?

Jackie/Cheri/V/Bubba, I just looked at the Dis Google map and Mimi's is now on there, lol. Too Cute!

Pj

I put that up there the same day I put myself on the map! Gotta let my DIS pals know a good off property place for some eats!

I've got all my jewelry in snack-size ziploc bags separated by outfit that they go with. Then all the little bags are in one giant ziploc bag along with DD's headbands and our water-proof watches. Pretty neurotic, huh?

Nope, call that organized.

I just got a new battery in my waterproof Mickey watch. That and my nice watch and the two rings I wear all the time might be the only jewelry I bring. Oh, maybe a little bling for formal night too!

Still got about 5 pages to go!

.

whew, we have been gone all afternoon. I left my darn pc on.
We hit Walmart - no magnet paper, then the mall and then Publix. Picked up a bottle of champagne so we can toast to two weeks!

That would be the part I cannot explain! :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: Spit water on that one! :lmao: :lmao:

Hello fellow cruisers. Do you tip tour guides on excursions and how much if you do.?

I tipped the parasailing guys at CC, my tourguide and bus driver in Costa Maya, and all cab/bus driver. Didn't tip anybody at Dolphin Discovery.

Guides got $5, divers got $2 (or three if they were funny!).

After my snorkel experiement, I think I'd like to do a bike ride this time...unless it's too hot, then I'll sit in the shade with a cool beverage and occasionally run into the ocean and splash around a bit.

Can I join you?

I so wish you could! Let's do lunch in a couple of weeks...whadda ya say?

...well I'm out of here....to either a) nap, b) eat, c) try on formal wear

Later Thieves!

.

Oh, I've got LOTS of bling for various dressy outfits. I've lost 60 pounds and all spring have been shopping for an entirely new wardrobe for the trip, casual and dressy stuff alike. And shopping for jewelry to match was just so much fun!

May I ask where you got a Mickey water-proof watch?
