Please help me.

I am thinking of renting a car in California. I have never driven in CA before? Am I going to be able to drive from the port to Disneyland...spend the day and then drive to Long Beach Airport....will I get lost? I ahve a great sense of direction....but usually on the East Caost of the US.....

What Car company do I rent from?
What is the address of the port so I can Mapquest Disneyland?
Can we use our daily tickets for WDW at Disneyland?
How far from Disneyland to Long Beach Airport?

Thanks in advance,
Lisa

Dear Lisa, you will do FINE in California......It's not very far to DisneyLand from the port, we use Google maps, and it was very clearly marked when we got directions.

Also , not too far to Long Beach from Disneyland.

One thing to remember......Disneyland is NOT like DisneyWorld! It is right in the middle of town! That always throws people who have been to WDW.

You'll do fine. As far as Mapquest, all you have to do is put in DisneyLand! the directions will pop right up!

Doesn't it seem like just yesterday when I was freaking out cause Daniel was leaving for VA Tech? Well, next Wednesday he comes home as a sophomore!!
It really did go fast and I think that looking forward to this trip helped a lot!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

He will work for a week before we leave....

Congratulations Daniel for making it through Freshman year. That did go fast! I remember looking at his prom pictures just recently. It didn't feel like that long ago. WOW time flys!

You cannot use your Annual Passholder at Disneyland, but I think you can use Parkhoppers.....I would check with Guest Services (there's a phone number online) about the passes.

Well, I am just not to sure....We want to spend the day in Disneyland....and we fly out of Long Beach at 10pm...

So what would you do?? Not make any reservations and just take a cab to Disneyland and then a cab from Disneyland to Long Beach airport? Are there cabs waiting at Disneyland to pick up passengers?

What would you do with your luggage if you take a cab?

Oh yes, definately a midwest thing. It took me a couple of my childhood years to train her (hehe) to put JUST MUSTARD on my bologna sandwich.
However, I still love white bread, butter and dill pickle sandwiches! ::yes:: :thumbsup2

.
OK, I've never heard of NOT putting butter on sandwiches. It helps keep the bread from sticking to the roof of your mouth. :thumbsup2

Thanks. Not sure how that happened. I'm on an FE team. At least my paypal account said I was! :lmao:

OK that is weird. You're on a FE team, but yet is says no to gifting and no to having a FE on the master list. Hmmmmmmmm! Very strange!

Ian,

It's amazing what you come up with :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

How's Sukie feeling?

Was that accident at an EL station near you at all?

Sukie's better, somewhat.

I had not even heard about the EL accident. I just read about it, that was awful. It wasn't anywhere near me, it was way south of me and a different El line, the Red Line. I'm next to the Brown Line.

I think there's a mix up someplace. How do I get it corrected?

That sounds heavenly:cloud9: :cloud9:

The funny thing about MY family is that I am the only one that needs the water to rejuvinate myself. The rest of them need the mountains.

The mountains are beautiful too and I'm glad I'm living in them now. But I do so miss the ocean. It's home to me. I can't wait to be on my verandah for 15 days and nights.

LOL. In my hurry to let Deb know I knew why I wasn't on the list, I realized I used my 1000th post on that one. Blew my chance to do something special....

Got caught up in the hockey game (Syd the Kid pulls it out for the Pens against Jagr and the Rangers) and forgot about it.

Oh well. Let's see if I can get to 2000 before I leave next weekend! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It is possible, believe me!

As far as the hotels I usually just stay at the Paradise Pier as it is so much cheaper and really we only sleep there.

I never stayed there but I'm sure it is nice and a lot less expensive. Thanks for agreeing Honey!
