omg - they just played the 911 tape of the woman who had the 8 foot gator in her kitchen....the 911 operator asked her if she could be mistaking it for an iguana!!!

If that had been me on the phone, I would have not been so nice. I think the average intellect knows the darn difference.

Sadly, he will be destroyed as is another one that wandered in a yard today that was 7 ft.

I'm not sure how much everyone cares, but the other movie on the list of movies is National Treasure II! Marr, want to add??

Gretchen just told me she is going to miss me while I am gone :goodvibes :goodvibes

I have to admit I'm glad to be gone during this week. I allready told the group, you know that group of moms at school that do everything for the rest of the parents that don't do anything that I'd pay, so I'm doing my part just not everyone elses too this year.

I know how you feel but we actually have two REALLY good teachers this year. For some reason, everyone in Brooke's class has a lot grandparents dropping off and picking up. I called them at home and a lot didn't answer. Basically, I will be buying two really expensive gifts!

As often as you can, even in school. Some do it it every hour. I know, too much, but the more the better.
Very interesting. :thumbsup2 I just googled and read a whole bunch about it, plus tons of other relative info.

I love Wilson's teachers too. I do things for them all year long (my latest  GIANTS gift cards!!!) you can get them at Safeway. His English teacher loves the Giants and his Spanish teacher is a boo hiss Dodger fan. So The gift cards work well as they can go together (neither is married and they are friends).

Molly's teacher is a Dland/Jack fan, so when I went to dland I brought her back a Mickey sourdough loaf and yup, some of those wine in a box juice boxes, she loved them.

I'd rather have my efforts go just for the kids teachers this year, in years past we (that group of parents) make it great for the whole staff, we usually have a week long event, gifts every day, lunches etc, raffels (without buying tickets of course)

I think I'm just getting old and crabby

I watched that on the 10pm news just a bit ago and had the same reaction you did to the 911 operator's question! :headache:

Yeah, and I also cracked up after I moved to Lansing and the first time I saw "butt roast" on a sign outside a grocery store. I'd only heard of it referred to as "rump roast" my whole life up to that point! Yeah, I knew it was butt, but had never heard it called "butt roast"! :lmao:

Hey, guess what a co-worker did for me last Thursday? She gave me a nice card that has some gushy talk about somebody like me making the workplace special, yadda yadda yadda, and inside she put a $25 Disney gift card for me to take on the cruise! She told me to make sure I use it on myself and have a few BBCs on her! :rotfl: VERY nice of her!!!

So a while back, I applied for the Hershey Bliss house party and got picked. I set up my page on their site, but never got around to sending e-invites. That was during a few days where I was sort of on a downslide and lost touch with reality a bit. Well, I forgot all about it and came home from work Friday to find a HUGE box on my porch full of 15 pads of paper, pens, magnets, goody bags, and NINE full size bags of Hershey Bliss (3 bags of each of 3 flavors)!!!!!!!!! :yay: HOLY COW it was a ton of chocolate! So last night, I finally got motivated and split it all into 8 goody bags and took it to work today for all the women there. They LOVED it! I saved a little for myself, but I'm not a huge chocolate fan. It's just nice to have some on hand for those days when I have that uncontrollable chocolate urge.

Can't wait to sign up for another house party!

i think i'm calling it a night, my bed and a movie is calling
