Well, gotta get the DK ready for school...DS is almost done with all of his makeup work for school we are down two spelling test homework packets and all of his spelling make-up tests have been taken all he needs to do now is two comprehension tests one on Ben Franklin and one on Graham Bell on top of his usually homework....almost there. Well, today I get to go out with DH for my birthday nothing big probably brunch at Mimi's and a movie while the DK are at school ...just looking forward to this cruise It is coming so fast and I'm feeling the pressure of packing...I have been ordering tonz of stuff through ebay and stuff for this cruise and its all adding up

I will say it here as I said on the old thread. When V said that about pricing the night before I thought they had been working out finances to see if they could afford another baby!!!!

Og here. Please forgive me for mentioning it, but I didn't see any reference to the OG's meet on the front page. Of course being an OG, I may have not seen it. These old eyes are not what they use to be. You may want to put it in big red letters to get the OG's and OG lurkers attention.

Just curious, how far are you from Portland? I was there with the Canadian Navy just after Mt St Helens blew the first time and was covered in ash when she erupted again...ruined my Navy whites....

I work in Portland, we live 25 miles southwest. We were not here at the time St Helens blew, but my inlaws were in Montana at that time and they gathered up a jar full of the ash and gave it to us. Amazing how soft and powdery it is and how far east it went. Sorry about your whites!!

How much camera gear do I wish cart around with me? I still shoot film......I have a digital but do not like it and do not print the pics....so, if this is a trip of the lifetime, I need to take my camera - yes?

How much camera gear do I wish cart around with me? I still shoot film......I have a digital but do not like it and do not print the pics....so, if this is a trip of the lifetime, I need to take my camera - yes?

Ahhh just take it all. Then you can't say "I wish I would have brought ..." That's what I am doing.

well another morning down...almost! It is cold cold cold here - enough to egt us all sick before the darn trip!

The temps are going up and down here. It is suppose to be 80 today.
