Yea, the pumps up here don't even kick on unless the CC is approved. You would have to cancel the transaction and start over again, then the pump bleeps at you to pay inside.

And here it is against the law for us to pump our own gas. I like not having to get out in the rain and snow, step in gum, spill gas on my shoe, and have the police call saying I did not pay.

The only problem with that is that you can't gamble on disney. I would call dcl and say you have some friends that want to play bridge or some other card game and are the lounges occupied etc. Do they have any suggestions? Just don't mention poker. IMHO

That is funny, I am the ultra Accountant, and it looked good to me too! All clean lines, centered, in descending order of importance. Perfect sign! LOL.

funny, but kinda lame, I'm the exact same way (of course I am, because I made it), us accountants have a boring sense of art dontchathink?

I have been seeing how having a parent w/ dementia is affecting my best friend, so I can imagine how you're doing. He's having a really hard time with this, especially since his sister can't be counted on for anything.

Rememeber that we're here to support you how ever we can

maybe verbalizing it made it better today. We got in and out of the appointment in no time and I was home in a record of 1.5 hours start to finish. I mentioned the cruise to my mom and she said, "can I go?" I knew she was kidding, but it was sad anyways

Yesterday, we picked up two Brit friends at the Port of L.A. after their cruise to Hawaii (without luggage, thanks to British Airways) and had a lovely lunch at the Cheesecake Factory overlooking the Redondo Beach marina. (Deb - it's across from your hotel and we should all go there. You would love it!)

They shared lots of funny stories about the cruise (like the elderly couple who wore the same matching outfit for 15 days!) I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!

I feel so sad for you. I know EXACTLY how you are feeling and that knot that you get in your stomach is just miserable.

I had a terrible day at my job today and I cried....(all by myself in the bathroom. I normally work only at home, but I had so meany meetings today I had to go to the office.

It was terrible....I feel miserable right now.

That was me....and when we were in Zihua last month there were cuban ones all over the place. I think the Casa Tequila that Gaylean and Venetia were talking about has a bunch there as well.......

Hi Kaylee, I'm not sure that I'm a non-smoker yet. I just choose not to smoke right now and I'm still taking it one day at a time. So far, so good! It's working. Thanks for your encouragement.

Howdy all,

We are getting very excited, and nervous as the cruise is quickly approaching and we are worried that there is not enough time to get everything packed, planned and such.

Now to my question. I have not received my cruise documents yet, and I keep hearing that others have received theirs. Am I alone here? Has everyone else received theirs?

Needless to say, as this is our first Disney cruise, we are beginning to get worried.

I quit smoking around six years ago and this did go on for quite a while but it faded with time and I hardly ever even remember what it was like to smoke. If I never pick another one up, I will never get hooked again. That is my goal. So far so good. (knock on wood!!)

I'm so glad to hear you say this after six years. I hope it works that way for me too. Congratulations to you on your success!
