Do you think it is worth it to ship? I know you have certain things that you want to bring but I'm not as picky. Do you think it would be better to buy it in Florida? I was thinking of bringing a couple bottles of whiskey and a bottle of vodka (plastic) and then buying the wine there.

I'm pretty picky about my tequila. I've already bought the bottles I want. I don't want to chance that they have my fav in florida. And I don't want to send my friday there looking all over for it. I think if I package it very well it should work. Each bottle is in its own box too.

I think I'll check the plastic stuff and buy the wine out there. Now just to find something that comes in a plastic bottle that doesn't taste cheap. I like 7 and 7s so I think Seagrams for sure. I'm not so sure about vodka.

We've all been planning, buying and chatting for almost one and a half years

What is the one thing that you are most worried about?:scared1:

Mine is the airlines losing our luggage!!! It started right after our direct flight to Orlando was routed through Toronto....

Yes, my luggage getting lost is probably the only thing I have any real concerns about. I was thinking about that last night as I was doing the luggage survey (thanks, Ian). Should I divide things between the two bags (half the underwear in each bag?) or not.

But I have a non-stop flight and I get into Orlando on the 8th so I have a cushion.

I wonder who is going to be either side of us. You're ok with us, we're quiet and don't smoke!

Been out all day so first thing I did was look!!! 6556. Not the best location right by the mid stairs, and a connecting. The stateroom report on here said noisy from mechanics or something.:confused3

remember Marilyn, some people just complain, so perhaps it's not noisy but that person was picky. Was it an upgrade?

lol....now that is something I had not thought of.....

last time we sailed.....no one on either side of our veranda smoked....so we could enjoy being outside

hmmmmm, what do smokers hate more than non-smokers.......cigar and pipe smokers.......perhaps i should arm myself before the cruise......:lmao: ..... of course non-cuban cigars......

Well we are sure going to be seeing a lot of us around on Deck 6.:cool1: We could be noisy for everyone else!!:lmao:

I can't wait to see the doors. We'll know where everyone is for sure.

Yes, it was fun and we had some good talks, sorry if I was a little long winded. Sometimes I just don't know how to shut up. I would so like to meet up with you before the cruise but as of right now we want be getting there until the day we sail.

We won't be arriving until Saturday either. We booked air through DCL this time. While everyone else is waiting for room assignments I am going crazy waiting for my flight info. We have always flown in the day of the cruise and made it on time. There were a couple of close call though. If we don't run into each other it may mean that we will be catching the ship in Aruba.:scared1:

Anyone else flying in on Saturday?

Donna

Had to post on this one, I have allergies, so I get 4 injections every two weeks. I have been getting injections for about the last 24 years, (some of my 4's have gone to 3's for those who know the system) There are days I think I am a human pin cushion. Being former military, I used to give blood too. Been doing that since I was 16. Gave over 5 gals by the time 9/11 rolled around then they said that since I lived in Germany for 6.5 years, I was no longer eligible to give because they can't test for mad cow. Still want to give but very frustrated.:headache: So those who can, please do and try not to mind the "little stick"

I was one of those screaming kids when it came to getting shots...and then I was tested for allergies and had to go the weekly shot route. I knew it was going to be the finish of me! But I quickly got used to it. Now shots are no big deal, but I still get a little queasy when I have to get blood drawn.
