We are 6053 which is right by you and the room reports said it was good and not that much noise. It is really close to the stairs it seems.

:wave2: You are even closer neighbor. :woohoo: You are right on the other side of our cabin. We promise to try to keep the noise level down. :thumbsup2

Just got in from work and checked our Ressie - DH said there was no point looking AGAIN, but I went ahead and had a wee looksie anyway! :)

So glad I did because:

We got our stateroom, too!

:woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

We got the category 9 - which was what we booked. :thumbsup2

Stateroom No. 2152 as far aft as you can go on deck 2! :goodvibes

I don't know if we're port or starboard. I could not tell you the difference. We are in 7625..:lmao:

you are starboard ......I remember it by the number of letters....Port has 4 letters, just like the word left, so when you are facing forward to the front of the ship, port is on your left!

We got our assignment...no upgrade :( but that's ok. 2588...I've never been on deck 2 midship(ish). Always forward. And we are starboard not port. Oh I will forever be lost!!

Oh and the laundry room is on the other side of the ship so we will have to make a giant U instead of running down the hall. At least nothing that noisy is above...just the restaurant and kitchen and I'm not usually sleeping when there is eating happening!!

Howdy neighbor! DH and I are in 2590.:goodvibes

OK, Ok

It looks like DCL is planning an impromptu DIS Ship of Thieves get together in Parrot cay for the lifeboat drill....

Wow, I have lost count now, but i guess 10-12 of us are Deck 7 aft...:woohoo:

Parrot Cay? I think we usually go to Artist's Palett?

I think Southwest may be the only airline that doesn't do advance seat assignments. It is a pain, but the price is right. By the end of our trip DH and I may want to sit apart. ;)

With their new system I think it's alot less of a pain (in the rear....literally!).

For those who haven't flown them in a while---when you check in on line (or at the airport) you not only get your group (A/B/C) but you also get a number (1-60 per group). Now you can sit in a chair (yeah) and when they call your group, you line up numerically. Family boarding is now btwn groups A & B (People needing medical help go first, then A group, then family boarding).

We've all been planning, buying and chatting for almost one and a half years

What is the one thing that you are most worried about?:scared1:

Mine is the airlines losing our luggage!!! It started right after our direct flight to Orlando was routed through Toronto....

I'm most worried about getting seriously ill onboard. I always carry antibiotics with me because more often than not I get sick when I fly. So I'm covered there but it's the serious stuff that worries me. It would suck to have a heart attack or something really serious happen onboard or in a foreign country.:scared1:

Thought I would let everyone know about the new Disney specials on the Travel Channel if you haven't already heard.

April 11th at 9 PM is Samantha Brown's Favorite Disney
April 18th at 9 PM is Disney on a Dime
April 25th at 9 PM is Disney Luxury Events
and May 2nd at 9 PM is Disney Royal Treatment.

These are all new and sound pretty good.

Carol

:disrocks: OH! you beat me to it! I just found out about those! I should have announced it at 1am this morning to beat you! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

for those who got upgraded, what category did you book and what did you end up with?

Just up the hall from us!!!:cool1: :cool1: 6634 Hopefully Marilyn will be close by!!!

Been out all day so first thing I did was look!!! 6556. Not the best location right by the mid stairs, and a connecting. The stateroom report on here said noisy from mechanics or something.:confused3

Hey, we all got on the same side of the ship. If I am right isn't this the side that faces the web cams? That would be neat for anyone watching. I want to make a sign to hang from the balcony that day so those watching can look for us.

Marilyn, we have a connecting room too but I have found that those aren't always accurate. We were supposed to have one on our last trip but when we got to the rooms, they weren't. So maybe you will get lucky. Hopefully since the kid count should be down being close to the mid stairs won't be too bad. I can't see where it would be too noisy from mechanics since you are surrounded by staterooms. Maybe their was just a problem with the room and it is fixed.
