So my fear is not being able to find my stateroom....or going to the wrong one!! Hopefully DrHug will get our magnets on the door right away so I will not wander the halls asking strangers to help me figure out where I live!!

I have a patient who runs a day care. She comes in about every 6 weeks for a blood draw and the kids all fight over who gets to go with her. So, I have 6 3-5 year olds in the room with us and they keep asking her if it hurts, and love watching the blood come out of her arm. It is really cute. Then they all tell me about how they aren't as brave as Ms. Laurie because they cry and scream if anyone uses a needle on them and they tell Ms. Laurie she did a good job.

We won't be arriving until Saturday either. We booked air through DCL this time. While everyone else is waiting for room assignments I am going crazy waiting for my flight info. We have always flown in the day of the cruise and made it on time. There were a couple of close call though. If we don't run into each other it may mean that we will be catching the ship in Aruba.

Anyone else flying in on Saturday?

We're flying in around 7:30 am Sat.! This will be our first experience flying through the night so I hope it's a good one! We really wanted to go early but the girls can't miss more than 10 days in a row of school or they're kicked out!! So we just didn't have a choice!! Oh well!!! Can't wait!!!

WE HAVE OUR ROOMS!!!!! YEAH!!!!! AND WE WERE UPGRADED!!!!

THE GIRLS AND I ARE IN #5138 AND MY PARENTS ARE IN #5136!! We're just so happy to be right next door to each other too!!!! This has made my bad day yesterday so much better!!!!

Thought I would let everyone know about the new Disney specials on the Travel Channel if you haven't already heard.

April 11th at 9 PM is Samantha Brown's Favorite Disney
April 18th at 9 PM is Disney on a Dime
April 25th at 9 PM is Disney Luxury Events
and May 2nd at 9 PM is Disney Royal Treatment.

These are all new and sound pretty good.

I think I'll check the plastic stuff and buy the wine out there. Now just to find something that comes in a plastic bottle that doesn't taste cheap. I like 7 and 7s so I think Seagrams for sure. I'm not so sure about vodka.

I knew we were alike...I 7 and 7's or Highballs for those old school people!

I don't know. I will have to look at a ship map. We have not stayed in this one before. It is CAT11

We had a sideways cat 11 on the med..6003...and I LOVED this room. It was the perfect set up for 2 people. You can still be at the tv or bathroom, while the other is sleeping with out bothering them. If you have a sideways, you'll have to let me know what you think.

so I called DCL and asked about the celebs....
this is what I got.
6 speciality shows, along with Welcome Aboard, Golden Mickey's, When Mickey Dreams, Art of the Story, Twice Charmed, Dreams, Farewell Variety. Deck parties on Aruba, Aca and Cabo days with 2 additional afternoon deck parties but no word on who's onboard.

We've all been planning, buying and chatting for almost one and a half years

What is the one thing that you are most worried about?

Mine is the airlines losing our luggage!!! It started right after our direct flight to Orlando was routed through Toronto....

Mine is having the flight cancelled. I was feeling okay about the airline staying alive since we're booked on American. But then yesterday, they cancelled 500 flights!!!! I've already started to prime my husband that we may be driving all night from Dallas if they cancel at the last minute - I'm not missing that boat!

Amazing how some school boards dictate what parents can and cannot do with their kids (with respect to vacations)

how many PD days do they have now.....and those days are used for????

That's one of the reasons we homeschool.....another reason was the quality of the teachers at our local school.....to validate our decision today we just found out that the school Liam attended in SNR KD is closing.....as it was deemed too small to offer quality education.....
