Our children, my DH and myself always go through the Walton's tradition when we are camping and turn the lights out in the trailer. Our older children remember the Walton's but our little girls don't. Our children range in age from 6 to 24 so they do remember different things.

Here's a question....How do you become famous on My Space...I just don't understand how having "friends" makes you famous. I haven't heard of so many people that are in these reality shows and they all say Got their start on my space. I must be old cause I just don't understand

And have you all seen friends, you know the flashback episode where chandlers hair is like the flock of seagulls guys....YEA...that was my PROM DATES hair....and I have the pictures to prove that...talk about disappointing..Here I am in my Gunne Sax (remember that?) dress with my hair done and his hair is bigger than mine...

OH NO! I would love to see that.

Well, I am not completely sure, but I think many "myspacers" have put up nude pics of themselves. I remember watching an episode of Girls Next Door and Holly got a few girls to try out for the mag off their myspace page and pics. I have a facebook page, but I just use it to reconnect with some college friends. I don't understand it either.

I actually have an old Edison crank phonograph that I bought as an antique. No electricity, just turn the crank, put the needle on the '78, and all the amplification comes from the mechanism. I have an old collection of '78's to go with it.

After chatting this afternoon I was listening to that Jackson Browne song, "Daddy's Tune" . . . the line where he says he will put his '45's beside his dad's '78's . . . I was thinking now you would say put my iPod beside your old CD's.



Well . . . there's always a first time for everything.

With that, I am going to bed. Too early an awakening tomorrow.
