Thanks Nan.

Going to the Hospital early tomorrow morning. His surgery is at 8:00. I don't know if there is internet at the hospital (I would rather have that than TV if I was in there). I may take my laptop.

Good luck! I guess I missed the info about your surgery. Good luck to all of you! Let us know what happens, please.

I hope everything is ok by the time we cruise. If there is anything I can do from here (orlando) please let me know. Connie:grouphug:

WOW!

Look at the Mach V!

OVERBOOKED!!!!

Remember way back when I asked "What would you want in exchange from DCL if you were asked to give up this cruise?" :thumbsup2 Somebody might be getting an offer................

.I just saw a post earlier today from someone who was asked to downgrade their catagory (from connecting 6's to adjacent 11's). They got $200 per stateroom onboard credit and 65% of their money back.

.

Another sign not the best but I like it:

And I love this but can't think what for it to say:

I saw the Speed Racer trailer and it was making me crazy that they called him 'Speed Racer' instead of a (real) name!

:lmao: :lmao:

Oh, my Dear! I am so sorry needles scare you so much! I am a lab technologist by training ( I don't practice anymore) My Patrick always says when we go for his bloodwork, that if the tech can't do it, his mom can get his vein! He is so funny! I always insist on a butterfly needle for him, it is smaller and there's very little pain!

I suggest: just close your eyes and dream of butterflies floating above you! And then you get to go out for breakfast as a reward! That always works for Patrick!

I guess you don't give blood to the RedCross! My DH and I give regularly.....they give Olive Garden $10 gift certificates as a reward there! I have given over 2 gallons, and my hubby is almost up to 2 gallons!

I have always been like this. As a kid I would lock myself in the car when I had to go the dr. When I had to have shots before college it took 3 people to hold me down. I have only been in the hospital once and that was when I had my dd. No broken bones or any illnesses so I don't know why I hate it so bad. In fact I had my first dose of antibotics a couple of years ago. Found out I was allergic to it! My dr. could not believe that at 50+ I had never had any. We went through all my records and talked to my mom and nope I never had an illness that had required it. I hate dentists too! I go twice a year and I have not had to have any work on my teeth since I was 16 and had my braces taken off. Needless to say I don't visit people in hospitals either. Don't know what would happen if I really got sick!

It would take more than that!

they can bump me for $5k and a category 1 on one of the new ships!:thumbsup2

Only in our dreams. I am looking forward to a room on one of the new ships but it certainly won't be a category 1 for us, as awesome as that would be. We did back to back cruises in December 2006 and had the opportunity to see these amazing rooms or should I call them houses.

I don't know what you would do if your child had a chronic illness, either. You know I feel that everyone can eventually handle what they have to........and you are fine the way you are! Everyone is different and I think differences are GREAT!!!
