we are watching FF here. DH is rooting for Kansas.
Anyone remember the "Kool Jazz Festivals"???
I got to see Miles Davis at the Kool Jazz Festival at Blossom Music Center.
Wouldn't it be cool if they had a Jazz night in one of the clubs on our cruise!
I fully understand about the needles! I start crying in the shower before I go to the Dr, all the way there and continue through the entire appointment. When it comes time to take blood, 1 nurse holds 1 arm, another nurse holds the other arm and 1 nurse holds my legs because I am shaking so much that my whole body is moving. One time some OLD man in the waiting room got up and came in and started patting my head and telling me it would be ok. They love seeing me come!
I'm packed except now I am rethinking my packing since there is no room to buy anything and bring home. maybe just take a duffle bag with our phones and ipods in it. Then we'll have a little room!
Kim,
They did already tell him that from the MRI that it does not appear to have spread to the liver or lymph nodes, but that they will not know for sure until after the surgery. He was also told that his "C" count is normal, which they said was a good thing.
I thought we had no history of this in the family, but then remembered that my Uncle (dad's twin, same Birthday as dad and brother) died from colon cancer. Dad has had benign polyps removed.
I will have my BB too Kim. I may email you with questions.
Boy, Kansas is whipping NC . . . should I go over to another old thread Kim?
Look Familiar Deb???

Sandra, there will be special merchandise avilable for sale, on the ship. There also MAY be a present from DCL (the 2005 people got a book on the Canal, Med people got leather passport cases--I think). I'll bet what they have available will be better than the generic stateroom gifts you can order now on line.
Well....chatted on the phone with Cheri...so no nap, but we did work out our strategy for getting ourselves to and from Prescot/Phoenix at each end of the trip. Now I have to call and find out what time breakfast buffet is served at Storytellers on Sunday the 25th.
.
How envious I am . . . I grew up loving the Beatles, but by the time I was old enough, they were no longer a group. I still remember watching Monday Night Football the night John Lennon was shot with Howard Kossel broadcasting . . . for me, that was "The Night the Music Died".
Thanks Nan.
Going to the Hospital early tomorrow morning. His surgery is at 8:00. I don't know if there is internet at the hospital (I would rather have that than TV if I was in there). I may take my laptop.
Maybe you could put Mrs. Bennett in a kennel and leave her in the garage with Mrs. Fezziwig for carefully monitored short periods of time, until they get to know each other.
My TA, Kevin, called 2 times this week and I called once. The ship is overbooked still. I was on the phone with the cs rep, who was very nice, trying to straighten something out and she told me all about it... Don't know why that 4 keeps showing up, you can't book it anyway.

Did you guys see "Speed Racer" is going to be a movie?
Coming out May 9th - just saw the commercial.
I LOVED that cartoon as a kid, and had a crush on Trixie.
Wonder how they will do Chim Chim?
Great shots John......but it's an errie feeling because that's the spot where he died.
We also got a really neat Med. book for the Med Repo. Of course, it was the first time. I think the first time Panama Canal Repo people would get more special gifts than we repeaters, but I don't care!
Going through the Panama Canal is one of the things on my list! It is so exciting for us! Connie
It was an amazing time wasn't it? There was so much good music and it was all either free or very cheap.
who is the guy in Speed Racer (the new movie) Jim Carrey?
OVERBOOKED!!!!

Ok this is not me but this is what my hair looked like. A lot longer and thicker.
I couldn't find the karate shoes. I guess they weren't as popular as I thought. I like the thought of calling them happy shoes.
Now back to catching up.
