For any of you that have them to spare, my brother could use some prayers his way . . .

He found out that he has a mass in his colon, and on Sunday he will have surgery to have part of his colon removed. While pathology results are not yet back, I think they are pretty sure it is cancer. The only question is whether or not it is localized or has spread, and whether or not it is treatable beyond the surgery. My brother is 5 years younger than me - only 42.

I am so sorry to hear this. Cancer runs in my family and it is a terrible disease. But they can do amazing things these days. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.

even my kid wants crocs....I am resisting...I think it's a just a fad for her..and I just don't like the look of them. Just my opinion....

I don't know how old you are but do you remember karate shoes and jellies and parachute pants? That's how our kids will feel about crocs.

Maybe, but I love the steak he makes so much that I don't even order them at restaurants anymore because I'm always dissappointed even at Ruths steak house

During the day time, I am fairly sure they can go to Diversions, they have backgammon, checkers, chess, maybe others.

Thanks PJ good to know...we really do like playing boardgames at our house our DK like playing chess and checkers...none of us know how to play backgammon though DS tries to teach himself by playing people online seems good to me but don't know how to play.

Love steaks too! But NEVER liked my meat grilled. I know wierd huh! I prefer well seasoned and cooked in the oven. Rib Eyes are great like this.

Our family really enjoyed that movie too.

When I took my DD to see it at the movies it was more me wanting to see it ...I loved them when I was a kid...so we made it into a fun mother/daughter outing one weekend

I'm looking forward to the waterhorser to come out...DD wanted to see that one
