I just watched the Magic sail away.....14 more weeks and we'll be on there!

Crikey...now that means only 28 pounds. I'd still feel a lot better with that gone!

Peg bought the book "Eat This Not That" and I've been looking it over for the last hour or so. VERY enlightening book ::yes:: And glad to know I have one of their "Eat THIS" choices for soup heating in the microwave right now! :thumbsup2

I'm going to sign off now....need to go get ready for my dinner with my cousins from Argentina....they leave tomorrow for Miami, then home.

Will check in w/ everyone tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good night.

Hope you have a good visit over dinner Monica :)

Karen & Deb - where your cruises in Nov? How was the weather then? I guess Thanksgiving on DCL might be fun....but boy I want to be on this one.
We were on the 7-night Eastern Caribbean with them.

OK, I just burned most of the day getting caught up! Tomorrow I'm having people over for the Super Bowl and Mon. a high school classmate is coming up to spend a couple of days with me. I probably won't get back to the boards until Wed. That should be..oh...300 pages? :scared1:

So I'm all for the recaps, or highlights or whatever being posted on PJ's web site. I love you all to death, but ...I just can't keep up! puff puff

If something important happens and you think I might not know about it, could someone send me a PM? pretty please?:flower3:

Thanks!

Have a great...er...Super weekend!

Thanks....still thinking....and price checking. So far almost everything seems to be end up around the same price or not enough of a difference to justify going from 15 days down to 7.

I've applied for a small loan to cover the balance and can pay that off with my new job or pay raise next month at current job if I don't get the new job (if I get approved for the loan). AND will mention it to Tyler's dad to see if he wants to contribute. I guess I shouldn't give up until 2/10.

holly don't give up, where there's a will there's a way!!!!!! I REALLY want to meet you on this cruise, you seem like such a cool person!!

I'm totally in...sounds like fun!

Nan...you just described my daughter. Horrible fine motor skills ie handwriting. Total teachers pet! I think I'm seeing a great friendship forming with our kids. Also, she loves older kids (they're so cool ya know) so that outta work out great!
S

Just a comment about this. DD has horrible handwriting also. For that matter, so do I, but her teacher said because of skating, her large motor skills are very developed for a 2nd grader and have taken "the advantage" over the small motor skills.

ok it looks good, but I'm feeling bad about leaving Paul and the kids for the day. I need some words of encouragement...yes I remember I'll be with them for the other 14+ days I'll need some alone time...ok, I'm good.

Just do it!!!! where is the nike swish when you need it:goodvibes

man I cannot keep up with you guys!!

what is this about door tag? sounds like tons o fun, so does the mouseadventure/scavenger hunt....

for those of you keeping track, I've now learned vital signs, bed making, would dressing and catheter inserting:eek: in school. in just two short weeks they unleash us nursing students on the unsuspecting folks at a hospital here in town. yikes!!:scared1: !!

Lisa/calmom I did sail in Nov.....the early part of the month. The weather was nice, warm, beautiful, but the seas were rough. Lots of storms.....a half day on Castaway Cay and no excursions.....we went ashore and it rained on and off and a beautiful day at Atlantis....foggy in the am and then the sun came out and it was hot.....and we had one sea day and just looped up an down the leeward side of the Bahamas to stay out of the storm. As soon as we passed the land to go home and head out in open sea, the storm kicked up and so did the waves. Overall we had a great time and for the most part, the weather was good. It mostly depends if there is a hurricane out there somewhere or not.

My crew was on the last week of November / first week of December ... and the weather was great!! :lovestruc

Castaway Cay was PERFECT!! Warm, sunny days with crystal clear water.

... but ... Brent announced that we had the first "7 sunny days of perfect weather" cruise in a LONG time ... so we felt very lucky!!

We always ask onboard ... "what is the least expensive week to travel next year" ... and then try to book it. Last year it was the week after Thanksgiving.

"We're Better Than Leftovers" merged with "The 'NanaHeads". Fun group!!

Have fun at you Superbowl party......GO GIANTS!!!!! Have fun with your old schoolmate!!!!!! If anything important comes up, we will definitely keep you in the loop......we must have our Sassy Bubbles included in everything!

I printed the lanyard pms & emails today ready to start on the list now...wish me luck and speedly fingers.:surfweb:

Good luck, I'll put my list together too.

No, I did my training here in Seattle at Bastyr. I was accepted to National (the Portland one) but in moving across the country by myself at 21 I decided that having relatives close was better (they lived about 45 min from school). And...I doubt you would have been the oldest there...you should have done it!!!! The average age of my class was 48....and there I sat at 21:confused3 Do you do compounded meds yourself? I use a lot of compounded T3 (not the tylenol with codeine) and hormones in my practice.

I'm so very interested in this!

I wish I could say that Molly had large motor to balance her out, but something is missing in her brain wiring that way. I realized in 2 grade while having her observed by an OT that she truely didn't have any sense of what to tell her body to do in physical situtations. She can't climb a ladder in a normal fashion, she changes from over compensation, where she does one step with each foot to under compensation missing two steps and almost falling off the ladder. It has been an interesting journey watching her grow thru these developmental processes. Funny thing is she walked very early 10 months, and stranger than that she rolled over at 3 weeks. :scared1: Now when we are in physically demanding places I just stick with her and talk her thru the safe and normal way to move. Hence my worry to leave her alone with Paul on a boat...worst thing that can happen is she will fall, and does that often. Not any serious injuries so far. ok, blabbermouth steps away from the keyboard....

I am back on the PC so I can go an look at all my stupid posts from the Blackberry. It is fun.....but a lot of work to post with it.

VA Tech boys and girls both won today!! That gives them a heads up for tomorrow. How fun it was to watch my all grown up son truly interact as an adult.

They all went out to dinner together so I do not need to feed them tonight!! What a lovely group of kids!!

Congrats:cheer2: I'm sure you are enjoying a bit of a rest while they are out for dinner...but they'll be back, and I bet they're all pretty excited:) Glad you had a great day, wishing you another one tomorrow.

My GD Serenity went for her 4 month check up yesterday, she is already 16 lbs and 26" long! I sure do miss her. She is rolling around and also rotating herself around by kicking:angel: Her mom says she spins until she loses sight of her mom and then cries/fusses until she works her way around and can see her again :upsidedow
