I have already booked the sea lions at 11am on my own so they must have a separate show for DCL. Our cost was $49 each but we have to pay for the cab which should be about $30rt. We can stay in the park and enjoy the other things they have such as the bird show and all the water activities. If we had not already done the dolphins we would do them too. We have to pay for lunch ourselves but that's ok. the park opens at 10am which we hope to be there then and we will leave around 3pm leaving plenty of time to get to the ship.

who did you book through? we're definitely doing sea lions, just not sure if through disney. I also found another company that does it along with a snorkel and sail I think.

Thanks! Sorry, I guess I'm a little shy being the newbie at first!

Since you just booked be sure and read page 1. Lots of info, and if they give us the old site back don't be shocked at the pages and pages we have chatted. Is this your 1st cruise? We also have a web site with lots of info pretaining to this cruise on it. Just pm PJPoohBear to get the password.

Which company is that? We booked directly with Sea Life park. They have a toll free # on the site.

Is this the 2008 Cruise version? :confused3 I preordered it through the Passporter website and they said

The new (sixth edition) of PassPorter's Disney Cruise Line guidebook is now available for pre-order. We expect to begin shipping pre-ordered books around March 15, 2008.

That's correct...I emailed them and Jennifer Marx (the co-author) emailed me back and said that those who order on their website will get them first. She said that Amazon orders will run a few weeks behind there. Also, if you preorder on their website they have the first chapter available for download and will be adding chapters as it gets closer to delivery date.

did you and Amy have fun painting the town?

Yep! I had a Chocolate Raspberry Martini! The waitress said the bartender told her to warn me that it was straight so be careful. It was yummy! Then after dinner I had an Expresso martini!

My name is Monica and I'm a DIS-aholic. It's been about 10 hrs since my last log in :goodvibes

Thanks for starting this mini-thread....I know I would not have made it all day w/o hearing from you guys.

Holly - great news! Keeping fingers crossed here too. Prayers going up. Bobby looked like he was having fun at your get together last night :)

SNUBA in Aruba - any one other than Jackie thinking about joining me?? If we get a bunch, not sure if the company would give us a discount.

My priorities at 90 days - Palo dinner, Palo brunch, Palo tea
excursions - thinking of the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Adventure, and parasailing on CC, Horseback riding in ACA (Nan, is Molly going to be joining me? we'll need to coordinate times), the Canopy Adventure in PVR, and the Harbor Cruise and Scenic drive in Cabo.

Monica, Molly says she'd love it. So if I can sign her up without me(or parent) I'd love for you to take her with you. Is there a time slot, or just one time for it?

We are supposed to talk thru out excurisons on Monday, so I'll have positive answers for you prior.

I'm ready to cry well too late I am:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

there is like a 2% chance that we will be able to go on this cruise. Everything was fine until last night and well lets just say feelings are hurt beyond repair and My mother will need to move out of her house and seperate from her husband. So unless a Miracle occurs. There may be a stateroom opening up for those in the lifeboat crew.

I'll keep you all updated. To say I am frustrated, upset etc is one thing to know how much mom is hurting right now is worse.

I'm so sorry. I hope it all works out. :guilty:

Hi all,
Is anyone going to be doing scrapbooking while on the cruise?
If so, what are you going to be bringing with you?

Actually, we are supposed to be having a scrapbook CLASS! Cruiser seaulater will be leading it. I assume she'll be back posting after final payment date.

sitting at my desk, DISing, eating Church's Fried Chicken....this is sooooo not on my weight loss plan!

For this class did we need to bring anything? pay anything? can we still sign up?

Honestly, I don't remember......it was pratically a year ago. :lmao:

I know she picks a project and brings all the materials. You also can bring anything you are working on or want to do. I know she's done it on other cruises and arranged with DCL for the place/space to do it.

I can't remember the cost...but whatever it was, it didn't frighten me off!

I glad you guys brought this up - I couldn't remember who had posted about the class. I've picked up some cute Pirate punches and dies recently and was going to offer to punch/cut some ahead of time for class - or if anyone else wants some. (I'll try to post a picutre later.) I'll have to pm her.

Thanks!

Hi! I'm the one that booked this cruise today from Mesa, AZ....sorry I don't spend much time here and I didn't know about the cruise meets but it sounds soooo fun.

It would be great to meet some of the people from Mesa that are going on this cruise, especially if we could find some kids around my daughter's age, she's 3.

Sorry to butt in to some of the chat that was going on, but just wanted to say hi, and I hope to start spending more time Dising with you all about this cruise!!!

:woohoo:

Welcome...don't mind us, just come on in any time. We just a talk happy group!

I'll check out page 1, what happened to the old site? I'd love to see the website pertaining to this cruise got lots of planning to do!

This will be our 4th cruise on Disney we did the land/sea back in Feb. 04, the Mexican Riviera in May 05, and the Carribean in 06 (sorry don't remember specifics, but can look it up)...we love Disney. Also, we've cruised RCI 3 times, and NCL once to Hawaii.

This sucks, but sounds like Mom is heading to a place that might be better for her. Hopefully, you and mom can work out the cruise and the move and it can be a celebration cruise.

We have a winter storm heading our way tonight and my dd and dgs have a 9am flight to Vail!:scared1: Hope it's not as bad as they think or getting 50 miles to the airport will be very hard. That is if the flight leaves.

We live 35 miles and always go the evening prior and stay in a hotel by the airport. It takes an hour in good weather to get there. I do not like to stress about missing our flight, so 3 minutes from the airport with a shuttle to take us there is the way we go! :)

Oh no! Hope you and your mom can work it out and still go.

No, no! You are not butting in to the chat. You are joining in the fun and are VERY welcome to do so! WELCOME!! :grouphug:

Yes, but I don't think I qualify for any of that because I don't pay taxes. The money I got today, I really should call it a "refund", it's all the earned income credit. But it pays for a cruise every year, so I'm happy!

Someone may have already said this but you do qualify for $300 if you earned at least $3,000 plus I think you will get $300 for Tyler....not too sure about that.

Even Daniel qualifies for $300!!:cool1:

Gydell, sent the postcard off day before yesterday! That silly Gingerbread Man was heading up to Mt. Hood with a sled when we caught sight of him! ;)
