I think most people tip them bagged candy, phone cards, gift cards to Wal-mart, things like that.

Ok I was sure that was the case but I decided to ask because it also sounded like people were giving those things to people that they were already tipping. Thank you.

yeah! I contacted DU to check on my obc...you get $200 for rebooking onboard, but when switching to a 15 nighter, you get an extra $50!!! hey, every little bit helps!

This cruise I did not book onboard or move a dummy date to but I got $400 credit per room through Dreams when I transferred to them. I booked the rooms myself on the phone the first day.

This cruise I am going to rebook onboard for a couple other cruises so what will I get from Disney as a perk for doing that?

The one thing you have to remember when you keep pushing back your reservations, is that the 'deal' will change based on what the current 'deal' is. For example, now we are getting 10% discount and $200 credit (for 7 days or longer). If they were to change the deal to something else, when you made you next 'move', you'd have to go with the new deal. Now, I think it's probably been a long time since they've changed the deal, but just a heads up.

....back to catch up....

Ahh ok that makes sense. So if I book onboard and get my 10% off and $200 room credit from Disney can I then transfer the ressie to dreams and get another $200 (or whatever they have as an offer) on board credit on top of that?

On our last cruise this past October I made it a point to rebook. I wish I had done that when we sailed in December of 2006 so we could have gotten a discount on this cruise.

I rebooked this past October so I could take advantage of a discount for a future cruise. It was a dummy booking at first, and then when the 2009 dates were released, we changed to December 2009.

Monica-I'm booked at 10:00! I'd feel better if you and Will were booked at 10:00 and I was at 10:30

Kathe

I'm in at 1:30... figured I'd get in my "last supper" before my flight... :lmao: (mom told me I had to do it... NOT THAT SHE IS!!!)

Here's wishing you a sunny day, a bag of Smarties and the phone call! :grouphug:

.

Got 1 1/2 at least.. partly sunny...2 bags of Smarties and the phone call came, but I'm still waiting on a date for my travel... :confused3

And some folk are doing fishmail deliveries too!!!:rotfl: Going to be ready for a crash out day on CC the next day!!:beach:

ME.... I'm going to start on the first day and do as many as I can... maybe will use bags with handles so they can be put on the doors... will continue if I have to the next day, but it's something that is really good to use on a hot day so I wanted to get it out before CC...

hmmm, I promised myself I would have a relaxing boarding day......!

V... We ALL said that!!! ;)

Fish extenders may not be out yet :scared1:

What time is that first mail drop planned for????

1st day... as soon as I can get my butt going to deliver... THANKFULLY I have the WONDERFUL Holly (Queen of the North)... helping me with the delivery and I will worship her :worship: with fruity drinks for her help!!!

I added some stuff to my tux & tails order. I added in white pique vest and white ties.

I was watching a movie on TCM the other night (The Divorcee) and I realized that the ensemble I had assembled was not accurate.

Hey... stop watching TCM... you'll be overpacking with too many tuxes!!! (just think Cary Grant and what would he have worn...) As a matter of fact... watch Affair to Remember and take notes...

Michelle,
Atleast you know you can cancel if anything happens to Kathe, me or Will. ( but nothing will happen! We will all have a ball!)

Mom can take the pictures :thumbsup2

Lou was my first podcast, haven't listened for a while. Been watching movies on the subway for the last several months. Didn't he move to a new version of his podcast.

Pj

He has been doing a podcast by himself since February, 2007. It is called The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am now listening to some of the old ones and I think I like his new format better.

and Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has five weeks to live...:(

Too bad. :sad2: :sad1: I loved him in Dirty Dancing and Ghost.

I slept this afternoon, but DM just told me about Patrick. Wow, we both really liked his work, and he just seemed really down to earth, none of that hollywood stuff from him.

Bad MIL week. She was set to leave for Betty Ford today, but blew it and ended up elsewhere (yes you can read between the lines)

Paul is home and sick, so not helping with the kids.

I've got a headache...

Other than that, I'm good :lmao:

Seriously the tulips are in full bloom, I'll get some pics to post tommorrow.
I hope you had better days after that!

Hey everybody! LONG day today, after taking Tyler to school on the west side of town, then me going to work way in the east, I left work an hour and a half later to pick him up from school to head to his sensory evaluation with the occupational therapist on the south side of town, then back to take him to school, then me to work way on the other side of town for an hour, then back to pick him up from school, then karate and dropped him at his dad's where I spent about a 1/2 hour filling dad & stepmom in on all the details of his eval. BUSY! Then I got home and a friend stopped for a short visit and now I'm STARVING for dinner but wanted to read a few pages here first. :thumbsup2

GREAT news is that I think we're finally on the right track with some of Tyler's issues. The evaluation continues next Wednesday, but the OT already says she sees major sensory issues and gave me an idea of some of the accommodations she thinks she'll recommend for the school and also at home exercises, plus OT every week with her and twice a week at school. I won't bore everybody with the details, but she feels ALL of the problems stem from some sort of sensory processing disorder, she just now has to figure out which type and come up with her plan for treatment (but will still evaluate him further next week before doing her report & recommendations). His dad, stepmom and I are so excited now! We really seem to be on the right path finally!

Well all...

I have to hit the hay...

Pain level this week has been uncontrolable without serious meds... & I hate to have to stop driving the heavy equipment when I'm on them... ;)

Night all...

Especially... Maj...(your majesty...)
