Well we had an earthquake last night. It woke John but I slept through. 5.something, our biggest ever, but up to a few years ago we never knew we even had earthquakes!

Plenty of talking about it going on on the TV. Interesting. Lets see if they blame it on global warming!;)

I thought you'd blame me for taking your bug.:lmao:

OMG! One goes MIA for a few days and you all close out the old thread and put 50 pages on this one.

OK that does it - you all talk tooo much! :lmao:

So I have no choice but to do as others - :lmao: just jump in and start from here - no ketchup for me!

not to worry I have a side dish for you (of ketchup)

I am working...it was 56 this am....so much for swimming tonight.
I have a headache....stayed up way toooooo late last night.

Did you look at LAX? My flight from LAX was way cheaper then from the OC. tix? No passes then? We'll get a car from port for all of us and our bags. You think I will be carrying my six bags? NOT :rotfl2: So C'mon you know you wanna go! :flower3:

Marr what time is your flight? Are you going on Monday night too? We are out of SNA.

Regarding passports:

V, I'm with you - haven't got them yet. Mine is lost, DH has his, but kids don't have them. We are going this week to get them. They are saying there are no delays at this time, 4-6 weeks. I might still pay to expediate them HOWEVER

You do not need them to go on this cruise. You would need them if there was an emergency and you had to fly home immediately. If you didn't have them, and you needed to fly home, you would have to go to the U.S. embassy at whatever stop we were and apply for an emergency one. I think that takes 24-48 hours and I have no idea how much it costs. Probably a lot.

You did need them on the Europe cruises as that was Europe. If you look at the passport threads, there is a lot of chatter on this. I agree it is important to have for an emergency, although we took the 7 day cruise in Jan 07 without them. The date the change became effective was during that cruise, so basically we only had 3 days (1 at sea) that we were "rolling the dice." 15 days to roll the dice seems too much, although I certainly considered during the embassy route (not getting them and just planning on paying the big bucks if need be). I really can't think of too many situations, other than sudden and unexpected death of a loved one, that the whole family would need to fly home. Initially, I was going to for sure get them when my Grandmother was alive. Then when she passed, I did consider not getting them. However, DH and I decided we will get them - mostly because we are planning a Europe trip in '11 for my parents 50th and figure we might as well use them for both.

Don't mean to start a debate. I reconginze the cost of the passports is nothing when compared to your peace of mind in case of emergency. Just wanted to clarify that you don't need them to board.

Good Morning Marilyn.....I woke up at 2am and found out that I was 25 pages behind and started reading. I have not been feeling well so I've been sleeping a lot....I'm taking pain killers and they're knocking me out.

It's very hard for me to keep up with the reading much less time for posting these days.

I do my best to keep up though. I'll feel better in a few days and be right back. For now, it's mostly reading.

Rest up and take care of yourself. If something earth shattering happens we'll pm you.

thanks! I was thinking we wouldn't need them but, going to fork out the $400 I guess....I just hope they come back in time with our birth certificates....John and Haley have dup bc's...but Samantha and I don't.

This made our news this morning - they are now calling it a 5.3. Our weather man said, "Quakes in England are a little more polite than they are here!":lovestruc

We haven't had a quake in a long time.

:lmao: I love that!!!

I slept through the big Silmar quake way back in the 70's. DrHug was kind enough turn over and go back to sleep and not grab my chest hair! :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I thought you'd blame me for taking your bug.:lmao:

I do, that too!!!:rotfl:

Rest up and take care of yourself. If something earth shattering happens we'll pm you.

I'm watching 'Small Soldiers' in between dusting, Dising, and breadmaking. I love the film.:)

Funny how some names are just 'old'. However some come back into fashion but some never do, fortunately!!!
