easter baskets....what is everyone putting in theirs this year?
I think the girls will get $10 Disney dollars and then some things like sunscreen (exciting I know), waterproof throw away camera, stickers, etc. No candy - well maybe one thing. Don't want to spend a lot. My mom's Disney Store is closing so she got a ton of stuff, sunglasses, flops, watches, etc. She said there was hardly anything left. I may as well get John one as well.

Webkinz...the boys are crazy about them....hard to believe........

MyTA said it was $163.50 per person, so that would be over $900 for six of you!!!

I know! That is a lot more than I thought, although of course I believe all the CMs are worth it. Boy, you guys have been chatty! I have behind again...trying to read up! Lisa

Speaking of knee surgery. I am at my Mom's for a couple of days. She had knee surgery today. Arthroscopy (sp?) for a torn meniscus. Bless her, she is 82 years old and this is the first surgery she has had in 50 years. 1958 was the last time she had surgery! Tought old bird is what I told the nurse. And so far she has not had any pain. I keep asking her since they told me to give her pain meds as soon as she felt pain so we could stay ahead of it for the next few days. So far, "nope, don't feel nothing yet." :confused3 Amazing lady, I hope I have inherited all her genes! She has been bending it an stretching just like they told her.

I miss DrHug already though! :sad1: I will be here until Friday morning if all goes well. DrHug has jobs today and tomorrow so he had to stay home. We live about 2 hours from her.

My husband had knee surgery yesterday. He was in severe pain today but we hope tomorrow will bring a better day. Our three little girls and I are staying in a great motel in Winnipeg. It has a playarea and pool so the girls have been having fun playing.

Hello! Well, I was gonna try to catch up, been gone a few days....so needless to say its hopeless. I did want to see if anyone remembers the post about certificates to order from the trip through the canal. There was a website, and now I can't find it. Anyway, soooo many pages,.....soooo little time!! :scared1:

:thumbsup2 that's what I did....hopefully I can scrounge up a deposit for at least John and I on a future cruise rebooking!

what 12/06 cruise were you on, ours was 12/9/06 or maybe 12/10....

While I will completely agree the NE is not gospel....but pancreatic cancer is very very - very bad. I ran a query today at work on our pc patients....and most of their time was less. But hey, our patients don't have money to help prolong anything....and don't worry no hippa laws violated....!

Sorry but I thought recent pictures of him looked like someone way older than him.

Dennis has an aunt that was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 2 and a half years ago. They had just approved a new chemo med that her doc put her on. Prior to that time it was a pretty certain, and quick, terminal illness. His aunt is still with us, doing well, still getting the med. They do not know the life expectancy yet with this med, they just know it is over 2 years since that is when it was approved for use. :thumbsup2

I saved the link on the group website, in one of the side panels, found it on the Planning page. .

I have not read or caught up....just read this page.

John, so sorry about the vote.....I wish it could have been different.

I have been so busy with Frank. I brought him home today from the hospital. He has to drains that need to be cleaned and flushed 4 times a day. I just am not too sure how I will keep that up. Don and I are talking about hiring a nurse to help us.

He will be going back into the hospital for at least one more operation.

Not sure where this will all lead to.

Continuing prayers for you and your family. Speaking of prayers, my mom's surgeon asked if we would like him to pray with us before surgery. Well, SURE! He prayed for guidance in his work and healing for her. How cool was that!

that is fantastic....my results are from a community hospital - which is mainly non paying patients. I am still concerned for PS, I do think he looks bad.

I wish him well and - oddlym Samantha and I watched Ghost like 2 nights ago.....and Dirty Dancing has been playing a ton.
