Is anyone booking Supershuttle from the port to DL? If so what time are you asking to be picked up for?

Other than that anyone booked a taxi/limo etc?

ha ha I am start to looking for shuttle to DL!!

I don't have clue for time and how many people too? Are you just two? anybody esle?

Does anyone know anything about Jacksonville, FL? Darrell has a real chance of being offered a transer there and we're curious what the area is like.

I've been to Jacksonville a couple of times, and it seems like a very nice place to live. I haven't been in the downtown area but the riverfront sounds fun.

when I was at UF we went to Jacksonville all the time. We even did several cruises on the St John's River. The Landings area is a fun place.

Hi Marilyn, I already booked a sedan car to pick us up at 10:00 or 10:30.....I can't remember now. Anyway they said to call when the boat comes in. So we'll call that morning from in port at about 9am and request an exact time when we know better.

I hope that helps.....maybe not.

I'm not going to DL yet. I'm going from the port to LAX to pick up my car rental. After that I'll check into my hotel in Rodondo Beach on the oceanfront. I'll probably wait until Monday to go to DL.

Today was a half day at school, and a beautiful day in nor cal. My dd had a drs appt, so I took her after school and we met our cousins for lunch. My cousins 18th birthday..called me very excited this am..got her very own car. As she put it..all hers no more sharing with the parents! Then doctor, then we went shopping for dresses for upcoming dances/recitals and the cruise.
It was such a carefree beautiful day. I am sure I'll get some crap cause i didn't go back to work, but it was worth it!
I realized I didn't tell my boss I won't be there friday...oops! Well he'll have no choice, cause I'm going to DISNEYLAND friday and nothing can stop me! Nemo here I come.....

Watch out Nemo!!!!!

That sounds a good time. I seem to remember reading somewhere a while ago that disembarkation wasn't as slick in LA as Port Canaveral as of course it isn't Disney owned etc.

MyTA said it was $163.50 per person, so that would be over $900 for six of you!!!

It is slow lately...must be the lovely weather! At least here in california.

The weather has been great! So glad the rain is gone and the kids can wear shorts again. The winter just makes me blah. My daughter enjoys winter sports but I would rather be having a picnic on the beach.

Just found out that my boss left at noon today..went home sick..bad for him, but yea for me..now he doesn't know i didn't come back to work...phew dodged another bullet! Friday off will be a breezzzzzzzzzzzzzze
