We'll probably leave about 6:00-6:30am......it takes a half an hour to get to the airport and we'll need to be there at least one hour in advance. It's my first plane trip since 911. So all the rules are foreign to me. This should be an experience. I love planes, John hates them and gets sick, which is why we always drive.

It really can go easily if you are prepared. Wear shoes you can slip off, no metal, empty pockets of change etc. prior to getting in line. If you have a jacket on that has to come off and go into a tray to go thru the scanner. No liquids over 3 oz, meds in a clear quart baggie, take the laptop and the cpap out of their bags and put them in a separate tray to go thru the scanner. You should just zip on thru then. :thumbsup2

How adorable!

Deb, yes put the scissors and nail file in the checked luggage. I think they have lightened up on those kinds of things (i.e nail file and very small nail scissors), but I check them just because I am not sure what is allowed and it just makes it easier to not have to worry.

We went to dinner and an auction for Grad Night fundraising for the high school tonight. We got several items on the silent auction: an outdoor firepit, 2 baseball caps - a Dodge one for DrHug and a Dodge Girl one (pink, very cute) for me, a wooden wine rack and a gift certificate for Dominoes Pizza. It was fun and I think we raised alot of money for the safe, tobacco, alcohol and drug free night of fun for the kids. :thumbsup2 DrHug bid on some barkdust for the flower beds since that is something we need, but was outbid. There was a local monied man there that bid high on lots of stuff. That's ok though, more money for the kids. They did auction a week in Cabo for $475 though. That was a steal! If we had not had this trip planned we would have probably been all over that! Value was $2700.

Here are the pictures of the wall unit and furniture I use in my son's room to keep them clean. Oh and the walls are bare as the house was just painted and his new frames are not back up yet. It is a work in progress still I should have it back together soon.

All this sounds good. I'm wondering if it might be hard to coordinate? Is there a teacher on aboard???

I didn't even see this question...I've been skimming quickly trying to get caught up.

Do I smell an opportunity to earn some spa money????pirate:
:rotfl:

No money...it's for the kids wink wink....If you feel like teaching, I'm sure we can get you a DOD! hahahahaha

I have not gone to bed yet! I finally went and did it...

I got an iPhone :lmao: I got my iPhone almost all the way set up tonight. I am still adding people in and messing around with it.

OOOOOOO! I played with one at the Apple store the other day. Too bad I can't get one on Verizon!

Ok Apple experts, if I download the HC episode, can I burn it to a disk and watch it on a dvd player? or only watch on my iphone or computer?

Are you a Mac user? If so, you can bring it into iMovie and make a movie of it, then send it to iDVD and burn it. John & PJ have probably already answered this and most likely know a better/easier way.

Here is a bracelet I bought the other day for Jacinda. I figured the starfish would be cute with a dress on the cruise! You can't really tell in the picture but the bangle part is silver and just the rope around it and the starfish are in gold.

Sure!

I actually like the new MS Office for the Mac, and unlike the Windoze version, it comes in a cardboard box which was very easy to open!:rotfl2:

John,
What's new and different in Office 08? I'm not so eager to pay a bunch of $$$ if it's essentially the same.
