I am sad they closed the board there. I haven't joined any of the new ones.

Me too. I have checked out the two that were started when CEO said she was closing her boards, but I have not checked them out since before christmas.

Kathe- it was VERY tough to leave......after I got dropped off (last time too), I was almost in tears even before getting into the terminal at the airport.:sad1:

Now I just need to wait until June, when I go up for Ian's 12th bday.

Well, we should be able to find something to keep you occupied with until June:rolleyes1 ;)

Okay, I've got to know the story on this. There was someone over at the PassPorter boards asking for Twice Charmed pix as well. What's up? Enlighten me!

There was this young girl, hounding people who had returned from cruises for pics of Twice Charmed. Her name was Gossipgirl. I don't think she was banned but I think they took away her posting privileges.

I was doing a search for Mouseadventures, which took me to Mouse Planet. I saw a girl named AnnaAnderson was asking for Twice Charmed photos. She must be making the rounds. I wonder if she has hit Cruisecritic?

Okay I received my Disney pins yesterday from mousepinsonline.com and here's what I ordered and received! I ordered 125 grab bag pins and we ended keeping/wanting about 50 pins! We received quite a few pirate pins, chip and dale (who I love) and various princess and Tinkerbell pins! They were all the official hidden Mickey and/or cast member pins! We then received about 35 propins which are the original pins! My daughters loved these as they're brightly colored and have fun scenes so we ended up keeping some of those too!! So with that large of an order we have about 60 pins to trade! And that's if I keep them hidden until our trip, otherwise it will keep dwindling down!!

Just wanted to report on what I received!! Hope everyone else has the same luck!!!

I'm keeping about 3 of the 25 I ordered:thumbsup2

Wasn't sure when to jump in here and introduce myself, so- no time like the present. My DH and I were able to take advantage of a cancellation back in December, right before the $1000 deposit deadline. We were distraught back in January last year when we realized we had missed getting a res. for the second time for the Panama Canal crossing. However, patience paid off for us and we could not be more excited:woohoo:

It is just the two of us, I'm Vicki and my DH is Tom. We have a gty 8 and this is our 5th Disney cruise. I was able to get a res. at Palo for dinner, but missed out on brunch. Can someone confirm the 75 day mark is Monday, 2-25. I want to try again then for brunch. With all those sea days it seems odd to me that I wasn't able to get one before. I've been reading these threads since January and I see many of us are in the same boat, so to speak.

I look forward to meeting everyone in May:flower3: ,
Vicki

Welcome..glad you jumped in. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Hey Nan...

Many hugs and lots of thoughts and prayers and most of all STRENGTH to you and your family at this time. Know that we are here for you if you need to talk or anything... I'll pm you my number if you need it...

Stay strong - keep breathing and know that we are here... :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Thanks, just send me the drugs, oops smarties...I'm hanging in, my humor is starting to leak back out.

Alright, I am going to order those pins too. Glad they worked out. Taylor is excited to have pins to trade.

Any west coasters want to form a mouseadventures team? Nan, Marr??? Anyone. Sounds like fun, and I am super competitive...(ie..we can win!) hahahahaha

So I have my phone back. After 24 hours w/o it, I really missed it. I didn't realize how much I use it over my home phone. I can wait for the iphone until gps is really on it.

Hey all,

Just checking in really quickly. Work is killing me. I am part of the team bring the smart car to the US, and the work load for this project has been extreme, to say the least. I'm going to try to keep up here, but it will probably be intermittant at best.

Seaulater is correct - we are going to do a MouseAdventure on High Seas again. This will be the third installment (the original was on the first PC Westbound and then on the 11-night Southern Caribbean cruise in 2006).

I am going to tentatively say on the 20th - the day after Acapulco. Logistically, we will deliver the game packet to everyone's stateroom fish. From the time we do the deliveries, teams will have 24 hours to return their answer sheet to the designated location. This lets you do it at your own pace, and let you schedule it around other activities you might want to do.

The good news is that we keep this version a easier than our main game. After all, you are on vacation! Although, there will be six of the creative team from the main game on-board, helping us write it. :scared1:

Can you point us to a place to see what is a Mouse Adventure??? I wanna play, just wanna know the rules and stuff.

Thanks everyone for the comments on the pics (it was quite beautiful there) and the camera issue. I'm still playing around with it and have emailed a few pics off to walmart to see what they look like there. Hopefully they will turn out good there and then I know the problem lies with the printer. I think I have the resolution as high as it will go on the camera....:confused3

I would be interested! I live in OR! I'm competitive too and know my family wouldn't be interested, so I would love to be teamed with others!!

But is it just one day or multiple days? And how much do the ship ones cost to participate in?

Welcome to the newbies joining us in the past day or 2! Jump right in and start chatting away:lmao:

I am sure you have answered this before, but what part of OR? We are in the Seattle area.

you're in! We'll rule the ship:lmao:

I ordered my pins just now. I am going to check out the link for mouseadventures..brb

I read about it and it sounds like fun. I want to to the disneyland one in april! How do we do it on the ship? It looks like it's just held at DLR?

Anyone have any answers..and who do we pm to sign up..and (yes theres more questions) does it cost to play?

Below is the best description we have for MouseAdventure - just replace Disneyland with Disney Magic. We don't expect you to know much in advance. If you can think, you can play. There isn't much you can do to prepare, really. A clip board is usually a good idea, along with a couple of sharp pencils.

Anyone can play - and the nice thing about being able to have a full day is that you can do it at your own pace. (Unlike the park game which is under a time limit - and there is never enough time to do everything). We really try to keep the shipboard version much lower key. I am posting the hardest question we did on the 11-night Southern Caribbean cruise below so you can see what they might look like.

And Linda - there is to be NO LEFT TURNS on deck 10. We want to keep everyone on board, safe and sound.

that looks hard to me, but fun :woohoo:

Here's the post about it:

There was another post later saying that all who are signed up on this thread will get the packets delivered to their fish then you can look it over and decide if you want to do it.
