Well we got some bad news today and need some prayers.

I was supposed to spend the first half of my day scrapping with my mom, she even took the day off. Well this morning she called to say her friend who has lukemia was on life support and they think she was not going to make it. SHe was going to visit her, I told her to stay as long as she needed we would do our things another day. They think the chemo instead of helping her is killing her. She has a daughter 26 year old daughter and new grandson. Yesterday she was haullcinating and today she is unresponsive. She still has a chance but it is small.

Nothing, once I leave home on May 9th, at 5am I am a free bird baby! You may have a hard time finding me. I have at least 3 books I want to bring on the cruise, ahhhhh!

Goldfish sneak up on you though! You eat say one or two and next thing you know the whole dang school of fish is gone....

I just love my job sometimes! I was worried about coming back today after 11 days off and getting back into the swing of things. Well, since I'd been off, I didn't know that my main boss had depositions all day, so he's been tied up, which means I was able to catch up on stuff and get some filing done uninterrupted. LOVE IT! And tomorrow, the attorney I'm working for will be out all day for mediation, so that will be an easy day too!

Someone posted about putting quarters in prescription bottles for storage. We use the M&M minis containers. They fit perfectly.

Mmmmm M&M minis. Love those. Don't get them in UK.

Learned the hard way, ANYTHING liquid, new or not goes in a sealed plastic bag when it is in by suitcase.

Our longest cruise was on the Wonder. The other two have been on the Magic but 3 years apart. I don't think we have had really bad servers on any of the trips. Carol

We had good servers on both our Magic cruises, but good in different ways. Our first server/assistant server were a really good team. Our second server was good but the assistant server wasn't up to the job at all. I wouldn't be unhappy to have either server again, but wouldn't be bothered enough to request them.

I know this was about servers, but it's just what DH and I have said about table mates!

Let me share my day with you yesterday - those fihses are everywhere....

I had to drive 2 hours west - there is only one road from here to there ---

On my way out of town I and everyone esle was turned by the cops....much intrigue so I headed through another area (about 20 minutes) to get to an entry further west - drat - cops there too - and now I am on a dirt road heading north - drat - the radio says - road is blocked due to protesters take "another route west" - I get on that road - HAH - it is blocked too - protesters are chained togetehr in middle of road - all traffic west - not happening.

So I head east then north then northwest about 2 hours out of may way - on the ay back south - to get west again (following me) I hit a very small town. They are doing major road repaving - they need it - normally not a problem, but I come to a sign "Road Work Ahead - Prepare to WAIT" ....and right before my eyes I see a flash of those fihses......and I break out laughing.
Not sure what I looked like, but I got a strange stare from the flagman......
